The space itself is divided into two rooms, one a little larger than the other which includes a bar with 5 taps that pour a selection of craft beer. A simple wine list with a good variety to choose from. The smaller of the two rooms is shared with the open concept kitchen where all the magic happens! The charcoal pit fills the entire restaurant with the mouth watering aromas of Charred's signature rotisserie chicken. The super hot coals lock the juices in creating some of the best rotisserie chicken I've ever had! The secret Piri Piri sauce that is paired with the chicken makes the whole culinary experience that much more delicious! Charred has a small, simple menu and it's a winner. The focus on a few items and they make sure that they do those items very, very well! I am already planning my next visit so that I can try their poutine that came highly recommended by the super friendly owner.
