I've had two terrible experiences here in the past month--one delivery and one dine-in. For delivery, I placed an order that was supposed to arrive around 6:38. I even have a confirmation email showing the delivery time. By 7:00, nothing had shown up, so I called the store. I was told they thought I was picking it up, even though my confirmation clearly showed delivery. The food had been sitting since 6:00, so they had to remake it before sending it out. No one called me to clarify, and I shouldn't have had to chase them down an hour and a half later to find out what was going on. After that call, I still waited another hour. The food finally arrived 2.5 hours after ordering. The manager wasn't helpful and didn't offer a discount or anything to make up for the delay. I ended up making food for my kids and changing our evening plans. By the time it arrived, one child was already in bed, the others had eaten, and I was the only one who actually ate it. For dine-in a month ago, the service wasn't any better. After waiting 40 minutes for our food, it was served without cutlery or napkins. I asked our server twice, and nothing was brought. The hostess told me to ask my server or the kitchen, and when I went to the kitchen, they said, "your server will give you some." It ended up taking 20 minutes after our food was served just to get basic utensils. Both times were extremely disappointing. I tried to leave one star but I couldn't. Awful experience, from the slow service to the crappy food and weird manager.Was so busy as we were trying to pay our bill and leave. After waiting for nearly half an hour, a kind woman who used to work there took our payment because the staff was so useless, thank goodness for her helping your staff out, I bet they miss her working at their establishment. read more

We ordred delivery from this place last Friday night. The food took 90 minutes to get to us. I realize that delivery times vary, but this was double the estimated delivery time. The food was ice cold. The potato skins were upside down so all of the toppings had fallen off. The salad we got was disgusting, and the greek salad that we paid extra for was forgotten. We could only stomach a few bites before we threw the cold food in the trash. What a waste of time and money. Offer delivery, or don't offer delivery - either way is fine. But if you're going to do it, at least have a system in place where you can get food to your customers in less than a hour and a half. This seems like an obvious case where they either don't have enough staff, or the staff they do have aren't skilled enough to keep up. So yeah.... I've eaten at a few Boston Pizza... This was the first time in over a year I had. And wow the portions have been cut... I ordered the same as usual chicken par and the chicken couldn't have been more than 3 or 4 Oz..... Really really small... Last time I had this dish the chicken portion was more like 7 or 8oz. Besides that everything else was fine. My wife ordered 7 cheese ravioli and it was great... Big portions and very good. read more

Went there a few years ago with my Aunt, Uncle, Cousin, Grandmother, and Her friend. We waited over 15 minutes for a server, and when we finally did we ordered. We were waiting over an hour for our food and when we did, it was cold, My Aunt's Fettucine was crusted on the top (you know when you leave it to sit for over 10 minutes, they split our order to accommodate another table, My cousin's Spaghetti was cold (she's a kid) and My Uncle, did not receive his food at all, My Aunt refused to pay and the Manager, first tried to have our server pretend to be the Manager, before admitting she was in fact the Manager and threatened to call the Police on my Aunt. My food was Ice cold, my Elderly Grandmother's food was disgusting, her friend refused to eat anything, we left refusing to pay and the Manager just started Screaming that we were banned and that she was calling the police. Wish I could put 0 stars because that service was absolutely Atrocious, and the behavior of the Manager and staff was Disgusting and Unprofessional, would say I'm never going there again but I'm Banned Apparently read more

This Boston Pizza location is everything you would expect from a regular location. The only downside to this location is that it somewhat far from downtown Welland. The best way to reach the location is to take an Uber. The food arrived timely and tasted good. The staff were friendly and nice even when a friend spilled his drink all over the table read more

Service is slow especially for a Wednesday evening. Took them 40min to make two salads and spaghetti. Server came to check on us once immediately after the main course was served and never saw her again until we were finished. read more

Used to love bp broken lasagnae. Last 3 times ive visited tgere was hardly anything to it, no real sauce or cheese or anything supposed to be in it. My bowl was very hard to eat cooked but tough noodles. Gotten very stingy. read more

I sum BP up this way: it's about 20% more expensive than it should be but from my experience the food is a consistant quality (and I guess it should be for a large chain). Let's not fool anyone, this isn't fine dining but it's decent when you want to grab a lunch with some guys from work. read more

This Boston Pizza does not live up to the others in the chain. First off, we had to wait about 5-10 minutes to see a server after being seated. Even then, another table that arrived after us got served first! The food is typical; pizza is alright but not worth the high price. Do not buy anything other than pizza. Came here on a Thursday night against my own will to watch "the game". Just because this place is called Boston Pizza doesn't mean they should put marinara sauce on everything...the salmon, the cheese and artichoke dip, even my salad. No joke. Have never had a poor meal or service. This location , franchise and the management team are by far the best in any restaurant in Welland. We have never had to wait long for a table and even if we did they acknowledged us with friendly smiles and reassuring wait times even when their bar is packed and kids at parties are running around. The franchise owner is hands on and can be seen greeting and always smiling where one would expect a franchise owner to be hiding in an office. The management team are quick at resolving any issue. We have been coming here for 4 years and have never been disappointed. The food is good and when it's not it gets replaced even at times when we are fine with leaving it be. For a family restaurant it is our favourite. read more

I liked going there on weekdays for the lunch menu. They keep changing it without notice. I liked ordering stuff like the Baked Bacon Chipotle Penne and the Bacon Mac and Cheese off the lunch menu but now there's nothing on the lunch menu that appeals to me. Quite disappointed with that. read more

I find it funny that the majority of bad reviews on here are from American tourists and no offence to them, but believe me, having been to most, if not all of the United States, our restaurants are much better. So that being said : I've been to this BP often, with our family, and other times with friends. I do agree the service can be slow, but at last when the food arrives it's piping hot and fresh. I went here with the kids one night since everything else was closed. We ordered a medium pizza with chicken and sun-dried tomatoes. The sun-dried tomatoes were burnt black and the pizza was overall edible but tasted terrible. I also ordered a burger which didn't even taste like meat, it tasted like mostly fillers and I felt like I was eating dog food. The only person who was happy was my 3 year old who ordered a kids meal and was elated with the cookie they gave (they didn't make the cookie, it was packaged which is probably why it tasted good). For their prices, you could go somewhere else and at least get some decent food. read more

9 of us went here for dinner got there and the seasting girl said they could not serve us and told. There were tables everywhere. Not once did she say ok it might be a bit or we can sit you seperate she just flat out told us no. When we asked to speak to manager she just gave us dirty looks and attitude.So we spoke to manager who tried to help but to late we left and went somewhere where they wanted business. Its sad when customer service is not given anymore we would of waited. It must be nice they are so busy they can tell people to leave. I hope the owner realizes what is happening as The couples we were with will never go there again.Again all she had to do is tell us it would take time. read more
