This has been a longtime favourite spot for this incredible Canadian chain. I love the founder's story, and the local bartenders always make the experience feel personal. The dining room is starting to feel a bit dated and worn, but I still love their piña coladas and the individual-sized pizzas. I do miss the original location, but this one is a solid alternative and still conveniently close. Parking is free and easy--much better than the options near Clifton Hill. I also really enjoy watching TSN and Sportsnet on the TVs while I'm here. read more

This place was so good! We came in pretty late after visiting the Niagara Falls and I'm so glad we did. Our server was so nice and atmosphere was great. I got a build your own pasta dish. And oh my gawd. Was it good. 10/10. The Alfredo was perfect. I loved my Cesar salad. I also got the passion fruit mule and that was delicious as well 10/10 We also got the Bandera Bread for a starter and that was super good. I loved the sauce that came with it. 10/10 They had such a variety on the menu. From pizza to pasta to wings. It was a lot of options. So everyone can find something to eat. read more

First of all, this is the most tired looking Boston Pizza I have ever been to. Horrible ambiance. I'm not sure I'll ever go to any BP ever again after this one experience. I came here for the spicy pierogi pizza, and it turned out to be even better than I imagined. It's got a little kick, but it's definitely not too spicy. The thinly sliced potatoes on it are soaked with jalapeños. The restaurant was pretty busy since it was a Saturday night, but our food still came out quick. We opted to sit on the sports bar side, but there is also a dining side if you want something quieter. The best part of the place was that there was parking right out front. Worst service I have ever received from a restaurant. Wait staff as well as the owner were needlessly rude saying snide things to my friends such as "Are you even old enough to drink?". When we asked to see the owner due to how rude our waitress was, he tried to alfa intimate us leaning all the way over our booth and sarcastically asked "Is there a problem?". The 3 people I was with all worked in restaurants at the time, 2 in kitchens and a hostess, so they come from the same side of the service industry in the exact same field and know what it is like to hope for tips. Of course we had no inclination to tip once we all received the worst service we had in our lives, but we most definitely were going to tip more than 15% each. We left after 1/2 through our conversation with the owner when he said "You punks better get the f out of here before I f you up." I told him I wouldn't be leaving until he got me a box for my unfinished $9 dessert. He scoffed at me and said I would never see a box, as if he were gaining some power trip over denying me my desert. I guess this has become one of the local sports bars in this area. There's a lot of TVs around and the staff are pretty great about putting on games you want to watch. I attended the Boston Pizza located on Dorchester this afternoon. We didn't see a host, so we walked to the bar; where the bartender was playing on her phone. After getting her attention, we sat out on the patio. I ordered a Fish-Bowl to start (staple:as it's Friday) and a pesto pizza "without mushrooms". Needless to say, the fishbowl was lovely as usual. However, mushrooms were all over my pizza, at the bottom, so I had to scrape off the all the toppings. Perhaps it was the cook, or maybe she failed to bring it to his attention. Worst Customer Service experience. We, myself and friends, have been Boston pizza customers for over 10 years. Everyone we meet for any type of gathering Boston Pizza is our place to go to.. Until today. We usually attend St. Catharines Glendale location or Clifton Hills location. Today we decided to go to Dorchester Location. This is our last time ever dealing with Boston Pizza as we have never been insulted in our life. After our meal I informed the waiter Kiara that it it will be on one bill as I was taking a group of friends and their kids out. For the past 10 years every time we pay our bills we leave cash (10-15%) tip for the waiter in cash as a Thank you. Today after paying the bill as I was taking the cash to leave on table as usual, a completely different waitress who never served us comes asking " was there something wrong with the service?" We looked at her with a big question mark and replied "no" confused as why she would think so.. Then In front of the entire Boston Pizza customers and our kids she states with an attitude " Just for future reference, when you don't tip we pay for your food to eat here!!" and kept going " When you don't tip I have to tip the waitresses and back kitchen so basically paying for you to eat here" It took me and my friends few seconds fo just rap our head about what the waitress said. I replied very upset " who said we're not gonna tip, we always tip in cash!? And what do you mean you pay for our foods?!" The. Replied " Oh, when you don't tip o have to pay our staff for you, and just to let you know it's 3%!" I have never been insulted nor outraged like this, to have the audacity to speak to us that way in front of everyone, and worst in front of my kids and guest it was the worst restaurant experience I've ever experienced nor read about. We asked to speak to the manager "Joe" instead of apologizing for his inappropriate waitress behaviour he defended and informed us "next time you want to pay your tip in cash you should inform the waitress , just to let you know, tip is mandatory and it's 3%". I told the manger that "we always pay tips in cash, and she did t ask us, she came and insulted us in front of everyone and we are long time Boston Pizza customer over 10 years. But sadly this will be our last!" He responded with not a care in the world " Well I'm sorry and have a great day!" When I called back to get the waitress name to file a complaint he refused to give me the name and hung up !" This has ruined all the past Boston Pizza experience for us and left a bitter ending! While visiting Niagara wanted to stay safe and away from crowds , picked this location called ahead to make sure they could accommodate our group of 9 . When we got there the host was a little thrown off by our group , but management and servers accommodate us promptly out in the patio. Our server was awesome taking our orders and accommodating our kids requisites. This is beyond the worst place to ever visit. Food is cold, place is dirty, and overall worst customer service experience . Today is our last visit and experience to Boston pizza!! After asking to have ya me cleaned, and waiting for ever to get out foods, after paying the bill and about to leave the tip (cash) on the table as it's the usual behaviour.. the waiter comes and insult you in front of your family and the entire rest pray t demanding tip, after I took the cash out of my wallet immediately took it back and left! Tips are based on experience, but definitely never going back, and highly don't recommend it!!!!!pay your employees will so they don't insult your customer, we pay for our food and tip based on treatment !!!! Went here after a long day of travelling for lunch. It was a Sunday and the place was pretty quiet so we got seated straight away by a friendly waitress. This was my second time at the new location (I forgot to review the first time), and as usual things were great. This place never disappoints, one of our favorite spots! We had the new spicy steak and potato pizza and it was really good. Although, if you are not a fan of spicy beware, because they mean it! Service was good, as usual, and food was amazing. My family and I are currently visiting Canada and didn't know where to eat. Came here and was provided with great service. They have a special pizza for each day (about $10 each). There is a lunch combo that allows you to make your own pizza including sides (fries/or salad/or soup). We went to Niagarafalls on April 22nd and went to enjoy Boston Pizza arround 9 pm. Server was too rush to take the order and pizza came so quick. But it was really really a shit. They serve a pre-made pizza and just warmed. We sent the pizza back and requested the server to make it more warm. After 20 mins the pizza came back with same temp. We were hungry and we could not return it any more. Anyway there was no alternate at that time. Boston Pizza is far away from standard restaurent. It is agood place to spent time with your friends and family at this restaurent but not for food or services. If you ever work in any restaurent you would mark Boston pizza no more than McDonald. read more

First waitress brought us our drinks and said she'd be back to take our order. 20 minutes later with my young kids getting hungry, my wife asked for a new server and she provided good service, but the food was horrible. We struggled to find chips that had any cheese on them at all in the "heavy loaded" nachos and there was only a light dusting of meat. Total ripoff. The pizza was horrible too. That whole area is tourist central and not really a great place to stay IMO, but if you're there, you're better off with a Tim Horton's. read more
