We decided to visit this restaurant after reviewing the menu, which seemed to offer a variety of options suitable for everyone in our party. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a lengthy wait of about 45 minutes for our food. When it finally arrived, the dishes were disappointingly bland. The service was equally poor, with the owners seemingly cutting costs by understaffing the restaurant. Despite being in a bustling tourist area on a summer evening, there were only about three servers attending to all the tables, which made the dining experience less than satisfactory.

During my dinner there I was servered 2 raw portions of Chicken Parmesan. After being served the first I have to wait 20 minutes to receive a second piece of raw chicken. My partner sat across from me and ate her meal alone and finished it by the time anything was brought out. They then decided to try to justify how the chicken was not raw and that "it's just the sauce the chicken is cooked in". After laughed it off and disagreed they decided to take off the cost of the singular meal. This whole fiasco caused us to be late to a show we had scheduled, getting the check even took a decent bit of time. On the way out I left an internal review about the poor experience and what is presumed to be the owner or manager reached out offering a gift card or refund of the meal. Once I said I would take a refund for the rest of the meal as compensation for the terrible experience they went quiet. No refund was received. I would try to avoid this place as there is a more respectable establishment next door that treats their customers better. Just wanted to warn potential patrons!

First night in Niagara Falls, Canada and decided on Mama Mia's since it's in walking distance to where we are staying. It wasn't too busy and we were seated right away. Lauren, our server, seated us by the big window, which allowed us view the street activity while we ate. Lauren, was very sweet and accommodating. She kept our drinks topped off and checked in routinely to see if we needed anything. I ordered the Meat lovers personal pizza ($24) to share with Nancy. Nancy's sister ordered the fettuccine Alfredo ($22). The food was great and there was enough to go around between the three of us; however, I do have to say that it is expensive for what we received. After tax and tip my pie was nearly $32 and my sister-in-law's was nearly $30. So over $60 for two dinners with water. I guess that's just how it is out here with the 13% tax and all. Regardless, I'm going to find out over the next couple of days. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from in this area, I'm glad the first one worked out. I have to bring up something that bothered me about this place. One of the cooks (arms covered with tattoos) kept entering the dining area and hanging on a counter by the service doors and would just stare at us and other customers, it was creepy. It was at a point where I was about to change my mind about dining here. I can't say we will be back because we have a busy few days with an endless variety of restaurants to choose from, but if I have the opportunity to come back I wouldn't just because of the creepy dude working there.

    The cheese pizza

The pizza was amazing, absolutely delicious and perfect, each slice looked like it was from a movie, it was the good. The service was nice and the vibe was a classic Italian restaurant, but much better.

This is the margarita pizza that I ate.

Wonderful atmosphere. Felt comfortable and relaxed while I waited for my food. The wait wasn't long at all, maybe 5 to 10 mins max. While your waiting they give you fresh bread rolls that are DELICIOUS. I HIGHLY recommend the margaritas pizza it was spectacular. The dough is light and airy. The tomato sauce is the tastiest part. The fresh mozzarella or "fior di latte" as it says on the menu is good. I normally don't like basil but it worked perfectly with the sauce. I will definitely eat it again if I ever come to Niagara again.

Great food and good views of Victoria Avenue at Mama Mia's Italian Eatery.

Every summer, my kids and I go to Niagara Falls for a few days. For one of our dinners, we dress up. My son and I wear nice clothes and neckties, and my daughter wears a very nice dress. The restaurant we normally go to was a nice Italian place called The Como, in Little Italy on the American side. Unfortunately, they went out of business this year. Still wanting Italian for our dress up dinner, we saw Mama Mia's Italian Eatery and decided to try it. We were very glad that we did, because from our first step inside, we knew we made the right choice. The hostess and waitresses were extremely nice, polite, helpful, and patient. Not only with us, but everyone within earshot. The service was quick, the freshly made bread was still warm and soft, and the main pasta dishes that we got were amazing. There was so much that we could only finish half! And the view from the upper floor was great, too! It was obviously not a fast food joint, but people still ate there wearing shorts and flip flops. This place should be taken as a formal restaurant and given the respect it deserves, but the people who work there are so nice, they didn't seem to notice or mind. The prices of the food were very reasonable, and we have decided to make Mama Mia's our annual formal dinner.

The service and servers are 5-stars! The food, though, is not something I'd come back for. We were able to keep the bread and butter appetizer as leftovers at where we're staying for my 5 year old - and we were able to keep the spaghetti, pesto pasta and chicken parm as later leftovers as well that all kept fine but it was just mediocre food. It's kinda what you expect, comparable to the ready-made ones at the grocery store. So nothing I'd be craving to have again. But I wouldn't not come again if it was someone else's preference.

I love Italian food, and I thought this restaurant was adorable. I love the name and the scenery. After walking around, we were starving and looking for a place to eat. We somehow stumbled upon this gem. My sister and I were seated right away. Our waitress was amazing and had great customer service. My sister is always indecisive and kept changing what she wanted, unable to decide. We both wanted pizza, and alfredo at the same time. The waitress helped us save money by showing us the size of the pizzas, and told us that the portion size for alfredo was pretty big. We decided to get pizza and alfredo. She even brought us extra plates. She was very attentive, filling our drinks for us and asking us how everything tasted. The food was delicious. I loved the pizza and the alfredo. The pizza had the perfect amount of sauce and mozzarella, on a thin crust. We were so full and happy to spend very little. It felt like we spent less here overall than we did on a drink at the Coca Cola shop. I already know I am coming here again next time. I am always in the mood for italian.

Server was excellent, but the Manicotti came out in 5 minutes, judging by the granular and cold ricotta, the tubes were previously frozen

Can only speak for the Margherita pizza because it's all we had but it was really good. Good service and came out fast.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, and everything was really good. Located right on the corner going down Lundy's Lane, the place looks very simple from the outside, but once you walk through the doors you realize you are in for an elegant dining experience. Started out with a orange Pellegrino which was wonderful, they brought out some bread and this amazing honey and ricotta cheese spread. Absolutely to die for but be careful. It would be easy to fill up on that and miss out on the wonders of the meal that's coming. I started the meal off with their Caesar salad which was absolutely perfect. The right amount of dressing lettuce was second to none and it was one of the most delicious Caesars I've had. I opted for the gnocchi oso buco ragu, which was absolute perfection. Be careful though, these gnocchi are no joke. The taste will keep you eating all of them and you will absolutely be ready to take a nap afterwards. Bottom line? If you are looking for fine dining in the Niagara falls area, you would be doing yourself a disservice not going to this restaurant. It's absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend it!

Beautiful, beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere, soft music, amazing service by Juan our waiter. We started with Caesar salad and the bruschetta appetizers - Boyfriend's salad was very good. I liked the capers and strong hint of anchovies in the dressing (which he always has on the side). Bruschetta was not what I expected - I felt it was missing something, not much flavor - although the bread was super fresh and tomatoes perfectly ripe. As mains he had the Americana pizza (pepperoni) and I had the lamb, served with a citrusy risotto and rapini. I loved the lamb! Highly recommend. It was literally so tender that I didn't need the knife to cut it! We asked Juan how the cook made it that way - he wouldn't tell and said it was the kitchen's secret! It was delicious. Risotto was perfect too. I'm not a fan of rapini but it was well cooked and seasoned. Boyfriend regretted his choice a little, although he says his pizza was good - but after tasting my lamb, he was sorry he didn't choose a meat dish. I had a shot of Amaretto on ice and the cannolis for dessert. Delicious and obviously homemade. I was a bit put off that a bus boy pulled out our appetizer plates while we were still actively eating. Hint, if our forks are in our hand and we're bringing them to our mouth with food on it, we're not done yet :/ Not the first place this happens and a pet peeve of mine... but whatever. Also, the couple with 5 kids... 5 kids omg... maybe this wasn't the best restaurant choice for you if you are going to let the two small ones run wild around the dining room and almost hit a waiter with a tray of drinks... but this isn't the restaurant's fault. We will return! Worth it just for the amazing lamb, and a short 5 minute walk from the Doubletree hotel, if you are staying there!
