I went to Diana for a 10 session series. She is an incredibly knowledgeable + practical healer who is also empathic. Rolfing is a fascinating type of bodywork and after seeing Diana I was much more aware of my body and how I can use that awareness to fight bad habits. Her insight is invaluable and my results were more dramatic than I was expecting. I feel like I can move easier in general, I stand taller, feel more confident, and I am able to ground myself more easily. Rolfing is not like your average massage- I highly suggest researching structural integration. At the beginning of my process there was pain- after sessions I would be sore for a few days. Rolfing has changed my entire life, allowing me to finally stand up tall without forcing myself. I worked with Diana through an 11 week Rolfing session and enjoyed every minute of it. Diana is thoughtful, curious and extremely insightful. She listened to everything that was going through and put together a plan to address my pain and discomfort. I have had several two hour sessions with Diana. It is hard to tell if they have helped. Note that her office is up two flights of stairs so if you are in pain, her office location is hard. But during each she insisted on picking my brain for information relevant to scientific expertise. I asked her to stop because I was paying her for her time and I needed peace, not reminder of my expertise. Her sessions way to stressful as a result and she defensive when asked to stop asking questions. Otherwise, she could pay me for my services. She seems envious and jealous of anyone who earns money or made some money - refers to Moderna and other people with stock options "raking it in". I have found her to be off-putting, greedy, and inappropriate in her inquiry especially about money and earnings. But during these terrible times financially for people, she decided to raise her rates which prohibit me (disabled and it is a hardship to see her) from seeing her further. When I asked her about the rate increase and the fact that I could not afford it, she assumed I could afford it and said "it is for people who are disabled or on social security." Well I am! There are words for Diana and they are not nice words. She is not someone I would want to see again nor refer anyone to. A session with her is about her, not about you. The rate increase put me over the edge. To give you another example, she has a policy that if you don't feel well, she does not charge. One client apparently canceled because of this reason but Diana chose not only to cancel the imminent appointment but the upcoming appointment - in other words diss the client from her practice because of one infraction. I missed one appointment and offered half payment which I expected she would not take but she did. She is greedy and money hungry. Doesn't stick to her policies. I don't think she can accept that in her field, she is earning a good hourly rate but she wants more money and wants to tap people for their knowledge. This is not cool. Diana should get another job where she is paid more. Frankly, I am relieved not to see her again. I am glad I she instituted this ridiculous rate increase because she feels under paid vs. competition. This is not the time to raise rates. I am grateful never to have to deal with her again. She is too stressful to listen to! read more

After receiving three lumbar epidural shorts, 7 months of weekly acupuncture and physical therapy, numerous events failed to deliver on their optimism. I have been suffering with sciatica in both legs and lumber back pain from two herniated discs. A friend of mine recommended Diana, saying she worked miracles. I knew nothing about rolfing as I went into my first appointment with a cautiously hopeful mindset. Diana was incredibly eager to help with absolute sincerity that will take you by surprise; with encyclopedic knowledge accompanied by radiating energy that can heal anything, I knew I was quite literally in the best hands possible. Unlike most massages, Diana didn't focus on one specific part of my back, she examined my entire body and could identify more than my MRI's and X-rays have. After I rose from the table, I felt nothing- and in this case, it's a good thing. I felt lighter, improved mobility, significantly decreased amounts of radiating pain, and the perpetual ache in my back slowly began to subside. Interestingly enough, I noticed improvement on the days subsequent to each appointment more than the actual day of my appointment. After the visits, I felt sore for a couple of hours. As that faded, I could feel the energy throughout my body healing and thanking me. Not only is my sciatica immensely improved, my entire body's structure is noticeably more aligned and I am more aware of my body. Leaving each session, I am stunned and surprised. Each commute from Brooklyn to Boston, is worth every minute of an appointment. To say I am excited for my future sessions would be an understatement. I highly recommend Diana. She truly is the definition of what a healer should and could be, each session perfectly blending the healing of both my body and soul. read more

I came to Diana with acute low back pain that had made me miss a handful of days at work (as an ICU nurse), had sent me to the ED during one of my shifts when my back was spasming, and did not have signs of improving. In one session Diane was able to help loosen my entire body so that I was walking better after an hour. First thing she does is analyze your gait and stance to see how you currently hold your body. While rolfing seems to most to be a deep tissue massage, it feels like more than that when you are done. Not only does it release tight muscles, but it almost feels like you have repositioned your body to a better physical balance. What I also liked about Diane was that she was able to help me realize why I had tightness in certain areas and how parts of my body compensated for weaknesses with other muscles. This knowledge helps you to actively participate in your healing along with her. Her place is easy to get to and she has weekend appointments which is wonderful for anyone that works during the week. It is not the type of healing that is for the person looking for a light, relaxing, spa-like massage to release tension but you can let her know if the pressure is too much and she will adapt for you. I first went to Diana when I got diagnosed with a herniated disc while trying to avoid back surgery. After the first session (October), I couldn't really feel a difference, since I was still on a pain level of 8/10. during a second session (Dec.- my pain level was down to 2/10), She focused on my pelvis, and after she worked on me, and used the cold laser, I noticed that while I was walking across the room, I was getting up on the balls of my feet more. Throughout that day, as I was walking, it felt like I was practically skipping, and even better than that, the next morning, I awoke with no sciatic pain! Now that I am done with my chiropractic appointments (decompression therapy), for my back, I will look into doing the full 10 series with Diana- she's understanding, sympathetic, and I entrust her to help re-balance my body, in hopes it will help the healing process. This woman is an incredibly gifted healer and I only wish I'd found her sooner. I came to Diana a few weeks ago with some serious lower back pain, a limp, and pain in my hip, --and that was only the 1/2 of it; I was frustrated because this was the 4th injury in as many years, and while I'd had relief and some rehab from all these injuries thru PT, acupuncture and massage, I realized this cascade of injuries was all of a piece and my body was seriously out of alignment; I needed to address that. A little research brought me to Rolfing. I found Diana and read some amazing reviews from previous clients. I liked her immediately when I met her, she's warm, easy to talk to and she really listened to what I said. She studied my gait, evaluated my spine as I moved and in her questions and comments I knew that she saw my body as a whole and saw the structural limitations I had as a result of these past injuries. And then she got to work, and wow. It's not massage, it's therapeutic work, she really manipulates the soft connective tissue and the relief that comes from releasing that is profound. All I can say is that it was just short of miraculous how much better I felt when I got off her table 2 hours later. I could walk with ease, felt more grounded in a way I hadn't in weeks. I've now had 3 sessions with her and my progress has been amazing. I have had more pain relief and achieved more range of motion in 3 sessions with Diana than I though possible. I feel more at home , and lighter on my feet and it's all because of these sessions with Diana. Her energy work enhances the whole experience, and I leave each session feeling both lighter, and enlightened, and am grateful to have found her. read more
