Working with Eleanor Reilly was the best decision I made during my divorce process...which lasted…read moreover 4 years. Eleanor did a written assessment of our marital home TWICE, possibly as early as 2019 and again in 2020 or 2021, since the market had changed so much between assessments in the years between. She was great to work with, so I also worked with her to find my new home. We spent a LOT of quality time on weekend morning at open houses together over the years and Eleanor was always professional, warm, friendly, and witty. She's the kind of person you wish was family. I always appreciated her honesty--she was not trying to push sales as some realtors do...she pointed out concerns with homes we toured so I would be aware of the liability involved...this was SO appreciated as a single mother with two kids. When I had to bring my son with me at one point to look at some homes, she actually brought snacks for him and was so lovely in engaging him. He had a great time...and what 11 year old boy loves touring homes on a Saturday morning? ;-) It was really touching--Eleanor is such a "people person"...she could connect with ANYONE! The market was wild when I was looking for houses--and Eleanor put in 3 offers for me that weren't accepted, and then a 4th that *was* accepted but the deal fell through after the home inspection, when I had a change of heart based on the report and rapport with the seller. If I put myself in her shoes, I would have been seriously frustrated with me at that point and wondered if my client was serious about making a home purchase after all. Thankfully, I bought the next place I made an offer on...ironically, the least expensive of the houses I put offers in on. When you work with Eleanor, you get platinum service and care, whether you're buying an inexpensive condo (as I ultimately did) or a bigger house that will yield a much larger commission. With the change in the market, I ultimately bought a condo worth $250K less than some of the other properties (including single family homes) I had previously looked at, and there was zero change in Eleanor's investment at any point in the process. Eleanor's dedication stood out all the more in contrast to the seller's agent during my purchase process. Quite often, I felt like Eleanor was doing *her* job too. When the seller's agent failed to get the radon canisters for so long that it almost compromised our closing date, Eleanor was lamenting that she would have taken care of them for the seller's agent, if only she'd let her know it would be an issue...and I'm sure Eleanor would have! That's Eleanor! Eleanor goes the extra mile (and then some) for her client. When I'm ready to sell, I know who I'm going to call!

I cannot speak about the office as a whole, so this is a review specifically for their agent, Jan…read moreDolan. We bought a house that was listed by Jan several years ago. After dealing with a series of incompetent and sleazy real estate agents (one of whom outright lied to us about where a house's property line ran), I cannot state how much of a joy it was to finally be dealing with Jan without it sounding like hyperbole. Through every step of the process, every detail was properly communicated, every appointment was kept on time, and she was pleasant to deal with throughout the whole process. After we purchased the house she even gave us a watercolor painting of the house which she painted herself. And this was in a situation where Jan was working for the seller, not us, the buyer. More recently, I sought out some advice as much I should spend on a kitchen remodel. She gave her advice freely, and it was comprehensive and useful as well. If you are looking for a real estate agent in Needham I would highly, highly recommend that you go with Jan.

She helped us find an amazing rental in Canton, and a couple years later our dream home in Sharon. Elizabeth listened to and understood our unique needs and preferences, sharing specific properties she thought we would like (and she was always right!). She was extremely patient and responsive as we took our time to find the right home for us, seeing so many places with us and never pushy or rushing us. She always acted in our best interest and is someone who not only knows the real value of a home, but can suss out the ins and outs of any property to an incredibly impressive level. She has incredible advice and also has amazing recommendations and connections to people who have made the whole home buying and moving process easier - from movers to contractors. Elizabeth made what can typically be an overwhelming and stressful process, very comfortable. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a realtor who will be in your corner.

You can…read morepurchase the class on groupon for a few bucks cheaper, but they make their money on the book ($150) which is like a $30 book online. My mistake was finding a class (a) that was close to my house and (b) was affordable. Don't go to a class just because it's cheap. You get what you pay for. There was nobody in the class to answer any question (which the instructor in the dvd stated is required). This class is a dvd taught class and there are times it would be extremely helpful if someone was there to further assist rather than tell the class to email whatever questions we had. There's no personality. Another issue I had with trust reality is that their class always finished earlier than said, which is great, but that time could have been used to answer any of the questions we may of had. Only on one day did the class actually go to its regularly scheduled time. On that day I had scheduled a doctors appointment because we were always released early. I had to leave a few minutes early and missed about 10 review questions. They made me retake the class, miss an additional day of work and pay an addition $26 to make it up. Now they wave the fee if you like their FB page on the first day, but if you don't have FB like I don't you have no other option. I feel that is discrimination to people who don't use social media. How about they offer the class to voice a positive review here on Yelp rather than a negative review like mine today. I may have left a few minutes before class ended but people have walked into class just as late and they never noticed. I understand this is a required 40hr class, but they could have kept me an extra 30min after a regular scheduled class date to fill in the review questions I missed. Maybe if they had an actual instructor available in class they would be more organized with their unorganized policies.

Centered in a great area HOWEVER - CONs would be the location as well. Directly across the street is a homeless shelter and we got to enjoy a ton of arguing and fights at all times of the night and early morning. Lots of ambulances and every morning between 6:30-6:45 AM. we woke up to construction right outside the bedroom window. The building is poorly insulated and you get to hear everything. Hope you're not a light sleeper! DAY 1 the bathroom flooded due to the toilet not operating/flushing properly. The maintenance guy who came to look at it just put the lid on top of it and walked away. DAY 2 another maintenance guy came who admitted he was not a plumber so I helped him. Showed him the toilet needs a trip lever and a float for the flapper chain, which is on the instructions that is directly underneath the lid of every Kohler toilet. He swapped the trip lever and quickly left so we had to assume it was fixed. That would be a big NO. I adjusted the fill valve to the proper height. I bent the new trip lever so that it would work since it was the wrong one. Adjusted the flapper chain and made it so it will flush just have to hold the trip lever down the whole time. I alerted the property manager, they said they would send out another person. DAY 3 an older disgruntled man shows up, he was arrogant, condescending, and extremely rude. Making comments about me being a plumber longer than me and not knowing what I'm doing, even though the directions for the toilet are directly under the lid and I showed them that. He continue to insult me even though he was incorrect so I told him to go ahead and leave. I called management asked them to have a supervisor or someone important to give me a call about the way I was treated and crickets. They were supposed to send me the check in instructions. They didn't. I called and left several messages. I texted the phone number several times. For an entire hour I got no response. I walked into one of the buildings where the address was supposed to be and that building's desk person knew exactly who I was supposed to talk to and ended up getting me a hold of somebody right away. They completely ignored me, but this guy had a different number for them. They misplaced my info & online info form so I had to do that again. They falsely advertised this place. They gave us an address in between 2 buildings. They have over 200 pictures online and 3 of them belong to this crappy condo and of course they only put the best pictures of this dump online. This condo is subpar, it's got lipstick on the pig. It needs a serious renovation, a lot of things don't work correctly or at all. This place is gross and the management is absolutely horrible.
