Neutered only one testicle…read more. Angry, hurt, disappointed..where do I even begin. I live in Dallas. I drove 80 miles to get my Sheru neutered. I work full time and don't have days off very often. This place was the only place that does walk in surgeries which I was happy about. As soon as I walked inside, I felt the worst energy possible. Everything in me told me to just go home despite driving 80 miles to get there. The front desk girls are just horrible. Customer service was awful, I didn't even get a hi from anyone. Nor was I told the price of surgery, how long it will take, what they were doing, when they were starting..nothing. The front desk girl just told me to bring him inside (he was in the car) and that's it. I took him in from the back of the clinic where they keep the pups post surgery. One of the cages was DROWNED in blood and it was unsettling. Since there was absolutely no communication, I finally asked the girls in the back WHILE they were sedating him in front of me "No one really told me the price, how much would it be?" They snarked at me and said it's my responsibility to ask the price myself (she said $200). Fast forward to later when I pick him up, thank the heavens he looked fine and even had energy to hop in my car seat which I'll give this clinic credit for..thank you guys for not butchering him. But guess what..THEY CHARGED ME $250. That's not including the cone and pain meds. I told them this wasn't the price I was told. 30 mins of back and forth, they fixed it. When I left the clinic and arrived home in Texas, unfortunately that's when I noticed they only neutered one testicle. Please look at the pics below.. I called the clinic 20 times (different parts of the day)..no one picked up. And when someone finally did, they implied I'm lying and how "unusual" that sounds. Please tell me why I'd be lying driving 160 miles in total for my dog while having one testicle removed. Needless to say, this place is absolutely awful and they genuinely do not care about your pets. They are just running a business. I now have to spend more money to get the other testicle removed. So ridiculous and upsetting.

Previously I had an outdoor cat that had a spider bite as well. So I knew the drill. Except this is 2026, and Dr Ferguson had Dixie fixed up in no time. I didn't have to leave her there. We were told not to be concerned and given some medication to help with the mass before a scheduled surgery 2 week later. Over the next week the mass grew rapidly and my wife called 2 times to express concerns and was told they would call back. They did not. I brought her in the next day and this point the mass had broken the skin and was bleeding profusely. They waited most of the day before calling me and once they did they informed me they had no time for surgery and the earliest to get her in was the next Tuesday. I asked is waiting that long going to be life threatening and they assured me it was not and she was stable. When I picked her up I expressed concerns about her rapid breathing and said she doesn't look good to me. The assistant told me they had examined her and she wasn't in any immediate danger. The next morning she died in horrible pain and we were helpless to do anything about it! Had I known she was in danger I would have found alternative treatment and at least if her condition was something that couldn't be fixed I would have had an opportunity to put her down humanely. Instead she died scared and in terrible pain. I will never ever go back to the place again! I cannot help but wonder if this was one of their pets would they have taken so long to try and address the problem when it was in its either stages. I'm furious with the way we were treated and even more upset about the pain she suffered as she passed away!

Dr. Kraft was very kind and treated my pet with compassion. His years of experience have served him well and he clarified things I had been told elsewhere enough for me to fill in the blanks. I appreciate him very much for helping me take care of my pet. I must complement his sweet lady that answers the phone and does so much more. I thought it would be next to impossible to get my pet in that late on a Friday afternoon that late. She felt if I left home and arrived at their office real soon that my pet could be seen. When I met her she was just as sweet and kind as she was on the phone. This clinic really cares about their pets and it shows in everything that they do. I really appreciate and want them to know they did me a wonderful kindness that day and I understand everyone wants to get home and start their weekend. Yet they did not hesitate to see my pet.

Someone,?, an older lady, came in to give a shot and backed my dog into a corner and leaned over him without even talking to him first. Another tech ? Joined in to lean over him in the corner. Not cool. He's not a biter, but that would have been the time. Second visit, different tech? No name. Took him out of the room, ok. Came back and said a cleaning would be 800$-1000$. After the doctor came in, it dropped a few hundred. Took him to Dr. Mireles in Frisco, who we had seen before. The cleaning without the bloodwork was $391. The bloodwork was not mandatory. Super clean and new office. Take your pally there!

Also had to sit in the waiting room for an hour past our appointment time, TWICE. I booked an appointment with my former vet in Dallas immediately after leaving with my cat and they were shocked at what I was charged. They stopped the antibiotics which weren't needed based on the type of crystals, did the fluids correctly and got him on the correct meds with the prescription diet and he was back to his normal self. Total cost at my Dallas vet for the exact same fluid treatment with catheter with the prescription food was $500. I'm gutted I got so ripped off at this Denison vet.
