100% recommended! I had a Browning Primal 49T safe to get moved (not the biggest safe, but it's bulky and tall, and nearly 800 pounds). My experience with Boswell was exceptional start to finish. From the quote to the scheduling to the move date, they were right on the money. Showed up at the pickup location a few minutes early (nice surprise), had it loaded in 10 minutes, and were on the road. Delivery was quick, professional, and friendly, with great communication the whole way. These guys are AWESOME. There's a reason why there's a dedicated service for moving safes. You just can't use any given freight service. They know all the ins and outs of installing the safe properly in your home, and already had all the materials ready to properly place the safe. They even kept me updated throughout the entire process from when they'll receive the safe, approximate delivery, to when they're 15 minutes out. AWESOME. The two guys (I wish I knew their names!!!) that helped was very respectful of my home, very professional, was VERY fast in moving that heavy thing with their specialized handtruck, and PERFECTLY positioned where I wanted it. They even showed me how to recode the combination, and gave me tips of general care. It was well worth the cost given that the specialize tools they used are worth way more than the delivery cost; and that electronic handtruck is absolutely essential. EXTREMELY recommend. I have an old floor safe in my house that I hadn't used in a very long time. When I finally decided to open it, I couldn't find the combination anywhere. I tried calling the manufacturer, but they had long since gone out of business. So I started reaching out to locksmiths to try and find someone who could help. Most of the companies I contacted said they couldn't do anything. Fortunately, I found a couple of companies that said they could open the safe and put it back in operating condition afterwards. I liked the people at Boswell that I spoke with, so I booked an appointment with them. They sent someone out, who after examining the safe, said they would need to build a special rig to ensure they could put the safe back into an operating state after they opened it. I was worried this was going to cost more, but they stood behind their original quote. After the rig was built at their shop, they returned, opened the safe, and installed a new digital lock so I could open and secure the safe. They did a fantastic job, and I was very pleased with their work. Highly recommended. Oh, and if you're wondering what was in the safe after all these years, it was empty. Nada. It was basically Al Capone's vault. I had asked Geraldo Rivera if he could come witness the opening, but unfortunately, he wasn't available. I guess he learned his lesson. read more

Paid $850 to move a safe to my new home 30 minutes away. Company requested measurements of the safe along with its brand info and weight. They also requested measurements of the stairs at my new home. They arrived to my new home and then stated the structure of the stairs made it too dangerous to move the safe into my home. So they were cancelling on me, but they were only willing to refund me half of my money back. So I got ripped off by paying for a service I didn't receive then they kept half of the money. A good business would refund you fully for not being able to deliver a service you paid for and they would eat the cost of any losses incurred due to their incapability to perform the task that was solicited. Don't ever use this company, you may lose money and not get the service you paid for. For about the same price that TSC wanted to deliver the safe to my driveway Boswell picked it up at the store, brought it to my house, placed it inside the house, levelled it, bolted it down, cleaned up the dust, and demonstrated how it worked (how to set the combo, etc.). Agreed on a used safe for a price - closed out my safety deposit boxes for a specific size safe they said was available. They backtracked and said it was already sold. First bad deal So we agreed on a deal for a smaller safe that was going to require work on my end to come up with a storage solution for what I had already pulled out of my safety deposit boxes. Safe delivered and the bolts don't work properly. They won't consistently retract and are basically inoperable. The solution is for me to spend hours and my money to grease and work them into shape. Second bad deal Lastly, the finish on the replacement safe is spalling and rusting, which wasn't disclosed. Another five hours sanding and removing chipped finish / sealing, and here we stand. Also unsure if the fire safety is maintained with the amount of damage to the finish at important places. Third bad deal I'd like to say they're a good deal, as installation was good; however, the rest has been extremely lackluster and would not deal with again. read more

While closing the door and locking it, I hear a bolt drop inside the door. I was locked out. When I made the appointment, I was given a time window between 4-6.
