I'm from WA and we have a ton of bud shops; however, none quite as bougie as Botanica. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Cash only. ID cards must be presented before entering through the one-way passage door. Once inside, Botanica is a hybrid between the two retailers Verizon and Lush. One cannot simply browse the wares without the assistance of a budtender. I was on the fence about this characteristic; I want to browse without feeling pressured, yet, the budtender can narrow down the exact product one is seeking. Prices were fair. I used to love this place. That all changed the day we had someone hit us and run in thier extremely small parking lot. This company has not helped us at all. They told us to make a policy report because they have footage of the ahold who it us. We made the report and tried to call botanica 4 times with no answer to the phone. So long story short, you better hope you don't get hit in the small parking lot because they will not be any help.. Shame on you Botanica. My husband was an extremely loyal customer that will never come back and neither will I. I also will be spreading the word on every social media platform possible. I will start off by saying that I have been going here for a few years and have always had a great experience. It's absolutely beautiful on the inside and everybody has been very welcoming. Unfortunately, I did an online order Sunday night because they had a 40% off sale. I did the order at 8:25 because I thought they closed at nine. If you look at their page at the very bottom, it says they close at nine but they close at 8:30. I went to get my order the next day and they had told me they put it back. I was not made aware that if I did not get it the same day it would be put back and I did not receive a text or an email letting me know that it had been put back. So I drove all the way there not knowing my order was not going to be given to me. I was told to go ahead and go shopping since I was there and I asked if I was going to get the 40% off and they said no. I was very disappointed in this customer service. I have grown to expect much more from this establishment. read more

Botanica is okay. Their prices are high compared to dispensaries is downtown Tucson. There is always a wait of at least 20 minutes. The waiting area has no menus or specials to look at. Water is provided but no coffee. The location is great right off the highway. If the prices were better I would consider going north more often, but as it is I have much better deals much closer to me. read more

This isn't like any dispensary I've visited in the Tucson metro area. There's no bullet proof glass, buzzing intercoms, and surly security. Botanica is a boutique experience, with beautifully arranged and well lit products on display and attentive staff to give you as much (or as little!) guidance as you need. The selection is really solid, too, especially when it comes to edibles, plus there's lots of pure CBD products if THC isn't what you're looking for. I visit dispensaries super regularly and without a doubt this place has the best customer service I've experienced. Everyone is really kind and they always teach me something new that I didn't know! They recommended some flower that I loved and I trust them to give me accurate information. They're under construction so there's definitely some hiccups sometimes but I think they do a great job of carrying on. The best of the best. I'm a year one patient, I've been a patient of Botanica for 5 years. They carry everything a medical cannabis patient could ask for... so let's break it down. Flowers are either grown by them or one of the high end vendors like High Grade or Item 9. They pre-pack here, which I know some are opposed to, however they do it different. If you know about curing and proper RH then a Boveda pack can be an amazing thing, especially if you're going to be storing... they use Boveda in their packs when necessary:) All edibles are top notch and they carry a massive selection, trust you'll find what you need. They have gone out of their way to carry Drift and vegan gummy's here which is awesome! Love the concentrates here as well! All are similar to flowers... either made in house or by one of their vendors. Always terpy, potent and clean! Shopping during happy hour M-Th 2-5pm will get 15% off your order! And they offer punch cards for eights and grams as well as random free stuff all the time! Add that with the untouchable upscale environment and the friendly staff and this is gonna be one heck of a shopping experience I promise... especially for cannabis:) read more

This place is literally Between the interstate and the wrong side of the tracks, if you know that I mean. A train on said tracks blocked me from picking up my order Before the store closed. I called the store five minutes until to let them know that I was blocked by the train and they said I would get there when I get there but their computers shut down at 7o'clock. I don't need this kind of BS trying to get my product from a place thats already overpriced yet in a low rent part of town and non-accommodative to disruptions in their own environment and a ridiculously early close time. I saw the reviews on how pricey this place was but I figured if their product was good and if the location is this nice looking it must be worth it. I don't even want to think about how much money I've spent in the few times I've been here. Every time I was told if the product is not up to standards I have three days to bring it back. Well recently I purchased a drip cartridge and it was a little cloudy, but I figured it would still be OK, after a couple days it started to taste like battery acid so I brought it back. The receptionist assured me that Spencer, the manager would be able to take care of me since it hadn't been that long since I got it, but then, when they checked the system, they couldn't find my order even though I had a confirmation number and they said because it had already been used They couldn't take it back and that it was "a red flag". Please do not waste your money here go somewhere that actually has fair prices and isn't focused on being the "cool" guys. Will never be back. read more

This place use to be good before all the remodeling in my opinion. You walk in and there is no room to move over with out people super close to you. Now they get your offset with an iPad. I was there before others and others were getting served everyone else. It so uncomfortable in there. Their prices are up there I guess because off all the remodeling money they spent. Ridiculous. Loved this store for a while. Now I'm on the fence. I don't mind paying a little more, their product is supreme. I do not like the fact I've been treated rudely on my last three visits. My fault for the second and third times I should have taken the hint with the first time I was treated rudely and not returned. I expect to be treated at least civilly when interacting with anyone. Just unimaginably bad customer service. I called on multiple occasions to check regarding inventory, was placed on hold and disconnected twice and unable to speak to anyone the third time. I figured while I was in the area I could stop by and see if they had anything that I'd like to take home. Instead I spent 20 minutes standing in line, which isn't marked for proper social distancing, without being acknowledged or able to even have a simple question answered by an employee. The online orders line was empty, but the employee staffing that just sat there and stared empty-eyed at the line forming with the one employee helping those there to make a purchase was spending way too long with a pair of elderly customers. In the end, I walked away and visited Nature Med where I was able to find something I liked, much cheaper than Botanica to boot, and completed my purchase in less time than I wasted in line at Botanica. read more

During my evening constitutional around the neighborhood on Saturday, March 5, 2022, I noticed the shop and observed upbeat music and modern décor, so I walked in. A gaudily dressed young woman at the front stopped me with feigned friendliness while essentially fulfilling the role of a bouncer and giving off an aura of ignorance and arrogance while pretending to be a congenial church- or Walmart greeter or restaurant hostess. Her cover wouldn't fool anyone, however, but I sensed that she did not much care about this. She demanded that I produce an identification (ostensibly this is because one must be twenty-one to purchase certain products from these establishments, though I am almost fifty (50) y.o.). In any event, I let all of this go without comment. She asked how she could help me. I replied that I liked the music and décor and was curious what kind of business it was. (What I did not say was that I was growing less curious by the minute.) I tried to downplay the awkwardness by suggesting that I had thought that this was perhaps a tea shop or spa or even a sushi restaurant (giving it too much deference, given its proximity only yards from the sex store next door). This probably won't surprise you, but instead of answering my question, she asked what I was looking for. I was aghast. I told her I just wanted to look around and check out the place. She told me I would need to produce for her my ID. I told her that as I was just walking around the neighborhood, I had not brought my ID, smartphone, or anything else. She told me that the law requires it (untrue: https://www.azdhs.gov/licensing/marijuana/index.php). I told her that I'm a lawyer in Minnesota, and I very much doubted it. She finally admitted that the store sells THC products. I asked her whether it sells anything that can be smoked, and she said yes. I told her that there were two other shops nearby that sell THC, and neither requested identification. One even gave me a sample. Another gentleman walked up to talk to her but did not acknowledge me. Classy. During this interaction, I left a pregnant pause or two, but she made it very clear that I wasn't from around here (true: I travel often) and was not welcome. I asked her why the secrecy given that marijuana is legal, but she wouldn't answer. I found this place shady and disrespectful AF. The staff reminded me of the kind of people that were stoners during high school and didn't at all like top achievers. read more
