Nice and friendly staff. Clean. The massage was a little too firm for my liking even after saying something twice. The oil they used for a massage was all in my hair and I had to go home and shower immediately because I felt gross. My clothes even had to get washed just from getting dressed after. I left unrelaxed and sore. Again, nice staff but not a place I will return to. read more

It wasn't amazing but it also wasn't bad. Will I go back? No. The receptionist and the aesthetician were both very nice and professional. I got a facial. It started out fine with a cleanse. The facial was done in complete darkness so I was perplexed how the aesthetician will be able to gauge my skin. Anyway, after the cleanse, a thicker product was applied which dried out but the pressure of the massage remained the same so it was a little uncomfortable and then some form of dry brushing occurred which threw me off. The rest of the facial was fine. Again, I don't think there was anything wrong with the facial, I think it's just that the technique used is not for me or my sensitive skin. When I left, i found that my face will pilling with products used and my hair had clay textured products in it. Overall, not a great experience. read more

If you are looking for a charming vintage-cottage style spa with high quality talent this is it. When I've previously been to other spas they are so stiff, it's hard to relax when you feel like you could break anything at any moment. Botanicals felt like the comfort of home but being pampered by professionals. The front staff is welcoming and personable, and make you feel as if you're visiting a friend as soon as you step in. I saw Francesca for a massage and she listened perfectly to what I needed. I saw Sarah for two services, full body scrub and a facial and hands down that facial is the best you will ever receive. She even explained the products she was using and why, and what ingredients were in them. She was so Knowledgeable about the products that she was using and the history of the companies. You can tell that the entire staff works hard to ensure that guests feel pampered, but safe and comfortable. I will defintely be back and would recommend anyone looking for a day spa to book immediately! read more

Very nice! I live in Boston, but I met the rest of my family down here since my Aunt was taking 5 of us. This spa was called something else before (Body Boutique?), and we had all been there before. The new owner, Liz, did mine and my cousin's facials, and our skin looks terrific. The spa has been redone, and you can lounge in a nice room that looks/feels just like someone's living room, which is really nice. I also had a massage, which was great! read more

I'm so glad I found this place! We had a spa day today as part of a bachelorette party and one of the girls suggested Botanicals. Best decision ever. They were so thoughtful and provided an amazing array of snacks for us and even stayed past closing so we could finish up. I had a hot stone massage from Rachel, which was amazing... I'd come here every day if I could. Then I got a mani/pedi from Liz who was also really great and patient while I changed my mind multiple times on the color. I set up an appointment for my wife today, and she was definitely happy with it. She's 8 1/2 months pregnant, so a good massage was essential this late in her pregnancy. Her masseuse was thorough, and very attentive to the spots that needed the most work - easily dialing in on them without any instruction. Sounds like a great spa! read more

My husband surprised me with a Botanicals Day Spa "That's A Wrap" Package which I scheduled for the weekend after a particularly stressful work week. This spa is an absolute little gem! As soon as I came in, I was greeted by friendly staff members who explained the process for the package very clearly and made me feel welcome. The spa is cozy, well-decorated, and serene. I was able to take as long as I wanted in the steam room, and they had clean towels, sandals, robes, and loofahs available on site! They have great body wash and shampoo available, but if you're a curly-haired girl like me I would definitely recommend bringing your own conditioner. They have secure lockers (with keys you can take with you into your massage room) available for you to store a change of clothes and any valuables you have with you. I absolutely LOVED my experience with my massage therapist. She was super friendly and explained the entire process so I knew what I could expect and could relax. After the steam room, I got to lay on a heated table and had my body dry brushed, then painted with a cleansing mud (she was very conscientious about confirming the areas of my body I wanted treated, which was awesome!), then wrapped in an insulated blanket. While the mud heat-dried she gave me a relaxing scalp massage. The room smelled amazing (natural, fresh scents), was dim, and they play calming music so I was able to really down-regulate my system and enjoy the experience. After the mud dried, she took me to the showers to rinse off, then invited me back upstairs for a wonderful massage with hydrating lotion, then citrusy oils. After it was over I was able to take a final shower and get dressed. As someone who enjoys a great massage, this was a very wonderful experience and worth every penny. The services took about 2.5 hours overall. Would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone looking to have a relaxing, pampering self-care experience!!! read more

I wanted a place to get a thermal mud wrap for my birthday and decided to try this place. My best friend and I were very impressed by this hidden gem! We used the steam room half hour before our mud wrap for no extra charge. We were treated so kindly by staff and were very professional. My husband and I signed up for the Couples Massage, with a twist. Being 9 months pregnant I asked if we could do the couples massage with mine being a pre-natal massage and his being regular - Botanicals was happy to switch it up for us. From the moment we got there, we experienced the great service from the front desk staff. They led us into the changing room where we were given robes for the complimentary steam room experience. After we enjoyed the private steam room, we then met our masseuses Sarah and Allison. Amazing massages! Afterward, we enjoyed cheese and crackers and were not rushed to leave. I used to go to Somers Day Spa in Somers, CT and was disappointed with the past few facials as the aesthetician was often in and out of the room and even skimped on the actual time advertised (and payed for). Botanicals was a completely amazing experience and we will definitely return. The staff is very professional and so accommodating; my skin was noticeably brighter into the next day as well. This was my first time going to Botanicals and I will be back. First they helped with last minute scheduling for a prenatal massage (everything hurt!). The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff were helpful and attentive from the moment I walked in. Beth gave me an awesome massage and was very attentive to specific areas that were bothering me.
