Based on Brian's suggestion, for my 1st glass I had the Markus Huber Rose. It was a beautiful glass of sparkling wine. It was light, fresh, and delicate, with fruit and spice with hints of fresh cherries and berries, and a small taste of citrus. For my 2nd glass, I went a bit more traditional with the Faire La Féte Brut. This glass was very bright, crisp, and lively with notes of lemon and orange. I ended up having the cheese board (I ordered the cheese & charcuterie board but the cheese board came out) and it didn't disappoint. Each cheese was complex and special in their own way, yet the cheeses complemented each other. The cheeses paired beautifully with the Markus Huber Rose. The quince paste was amazing! One suggestion I would have would be to have board labels or a platter layout card for guests to reference to while they are grazing.
