I recommend. HAS Military Veterans Discount.

If you want to know just how important a good neighborhood bar is to healthy civic life, come here. And, don't be fooled by its casualness. This bar is a gem. Incline Village cousins invited us here because they said, it's their local hangout. Although the weather was a tad frightful, here it was indeed delightful. Hunter S. Thompson, US Air Force Veteran, was fond of saying: when the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. Times are weird and this place responded by turning pro. Here's an old fashioned good local neighborhood bar --a good local neighborhood bar has much in common with a good local neighborhood community center to take care of your stresses and blues. When it comes to business, amateurs practice until they get it right while professionals, like here, practice until they can't get it wrong. I so love it when businesses do everything so well that I'm able to write the glowing reviews. Service staff graciously answered all our questions promptly which made a good first impression Dog-friendly Allows you to bring food in or order delivery! Relaxing atmosphere Has average prices Has outdoor seating Disabled-friendly Has classy live music Place was clean Friendly clientele. We met a nice and smart class of people here. Music is at a level that doesn't blow out your hearing so you can easily talk with others Has books and games We had a sampling of several wines and they were all adequate Did it for the price they quoted us Did it within the time they said they would Customer service was stoic-sanguine adequate with moments of thoughtful and erudite No automatic gratuity was added to the bill No one here offered to commit fraud to reward us, pay us or compensate us for posting 5 star reviews of this business The owners of this business like their Freedom so they have a Military and Veterans Discount as a thank you to Veterans with a publicly disclosed daily Veteran Discount which provides resource to ensure Veterans (rare 7% of the population) and GIs (rare one-half of one percent of the population) opportunity to participate in American Dream Veterans and GIs' sacrifices have made possible for 100% of the population. That's what earned them the fourth star for going beyond what they're in in business to do. I'll be back 24 Feb in 1866, Nevada's State Legislature adopted "All For Our Country" as the Nevada State Motto. "The motto essentially states that Nevada, first and foremost, would give all its allegiance to the United States," said Guy Rocha, Nevada's former State Archivist. Nevada's motto offered and continues to offers a strong statement of the American determination to form a single nation from a collection of states. Over the years, "All For Our Country" has also served as a reminder of Nevada's commitment to America's bold pledge to make one unified nation of people from many different backgrounds and beliefs. The challenge of seeking unity while respecting diversity has played a critical role in shaping America's and Nevada's history, literature, and national character and state character. In 1782, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Ben Franklin agreed that the United States motto was E Pluribus Unum (Out Of Many, One). In the United States, every state has their own motto. State mottos are significant and powerful. Mottos define product, outline purpose, speak to unique history, identity and share ideology, and are meant to synthesize the entire identity of a group of people in a single phrase. That's a powerful idea. The American Civil War was 12 Apr 1861 - 9 May 1865. During that war, a proclamation of President Abraham Lincoln admitted Nevada as a state 31 October 1864. Nevada became the second of two states added to the Union during the Civil War (the first being West Virginia), hence acquiring the nickname of "Battle Born State" as a result of when it achieved statehood. By law, Nevada's motto appears near the bottom of Nevada's State Seal on a yellow band surrounded by 36 stars that signify Nevada's place as the 36th state to join the Union. In 2019, The Saturday Evening Post ranked Nevada's motto 23 out of the 50 states.

Such a fun place. I'm glad Incline Village has this space for people to gather. We sat on the patio and created a couple of flights from the choices in the board. We also tired their tapa age and crackers--also delicious. The woman who helped us was so friendly and approachable. I'd also like to come for one of the book club meetings that happens here. We will certainly be back!

Def bring your own food goodies here with there large list of wines!! Otherwise, snacks are more pre-packaged.

This is not your classic wine bar but in a good way. You have plenty of wines from lower-priced ($8) to higher-end wines from the dispensers. There's plenty of seats and even a patio we didn't find until we walked to the bathroom. It's clean and the service is great. Plus, when we went, they had chocolates in little dishes (and no, it wasn't Halloween). They offer very minimal food options where it lacks IMO, but they make up for it by allowing you to bring your own! Steal- you just need to know about this trick before you arrive. You'd end up saving a lot of money on food. However, if you do want to order, they offer packaged pretzels and packaged nuts plus some cheese in the fridge. Most of the cheeses and salamis were not replenished when I went, so make sure you bring your own. They also offer a martini bar for those that need liquor. It's a great deal - enjoy. Plentiful options of wine.

Really cozy place to taste various wines. Friendly service. Indoor seating along with dog friendly deck seating with heaters. They only serve basic snacks but you can bring food over from nearby Lupita's if you want something more substantial. A great place to end the day.

I came here for my birthday a few weeks ago and was so happy we did! We were hoping to enjoy the nice weather since it hadn't quite snowed yet, and they quickly set up the outdoor patio with the fireplace for us. The staff were incredibly kind, gave us great recommendations for wine that night, but also for restaurants to try while we are in town! They have some small snacks, but are also totally open to you bringing in food with you to enjoy! We grabbed some queso and guacamole from Lupita's just next door! Had a great time and hope to go back when the band is playing one weekend!

ToWhat a gem of a place. We originally were headed to Bites but they were closed so we spotted this place on yelp! We called you ensure they were open and they told us they were across the street from the post office and a red SUV was parked out front. I can in fact state they are across from the post office. The owners are excellent!! They are extremely knowledgeable on all wines but the wife favors red and the husband favors whites so they tag team assistingml customers to make their best choice. Here's the greatest part. They insist you try the wine before you commit to a glass. Excellent!! We also got the full charcuterie platter with olives which was a perfect compliment to our wine. I started with the Craggy Range Sauivgnon Blanc and my husband had the Axel Carmenere at happy hour prices. Prices were $8 and $10. My husband stuck with the same for his second glass. I changed to the CC Darie Cab Franc. Both excellent. We sat and spoke with the owners who are very personable and pleasant! They make sure you glasses stay full and they engage you with interesting conversation about the area and the wine. Don't miss out. If you're local or in from out of town. You will love it. Check out my pictures of the interior!

Wow! What a fun experience. This hole in the wall wine bar was phenomenal. Not only were the owners friendly, inviting and knowledgeable, the wine they chose was superb. The space is inviting and would be lots of fun on the nights they have live music. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice break from the slopes or the beach.

Rob and Kathleen are the most hospitable couple. The wines are absolutely delicious, he drinks white and she drinks red!! Great selection of whites and reds, domestic and international. The place is warm and inviting. Table seating, couches and bar seating and free wifi. They have coloring books and games to entertain you, live music occasionally. They have Italian dispensers that give you the choice of tasters of 2, 4 or 6 ounce pours. They divide their wines into $12 and under and $12 and over. I'm a white wine drinker and my daughter is a red wine drinker and we both were very satisfied beyond our expectations!! Packaged cheese, meats and crackers available. MOFOs pizza and Lupitas Mexican available for delivery in the wine shop. Great place for all ages. Open Wednesday through Sunday, 3pm to 9pm. Summers hours are 7 days per week and open 3pm-10pm. We are from out of town visiting but would recommend for locales and visitors!!!!!

Found ourselves in search of a warm wine bar after a local hike -- enter Glasses. While most patrons appeared to be regulars, Cheryl welcomed us and gave us the full orientation with so much grace and hospitality. Given a single note on my wine preferences, she recommended several excellent options. Great wine selection, COVID-friendly operations, and the convenience of self-serve -- don't hesitate to visit.

The credit for this wonderful event has to go to Jordyn (event coordinator), Chris ( manager), and Jeremy (bartender). We were blown away by their attention to details. From options such as the color scheme for the napkins to the selection of signature drinks and food without fail was taken care of. Everything was so easy. Our guests were impressed! One comment that our guests used to describe our celebration was classy. Jordyn gave us recommendations for music to flowers which was incredibly helpful. She also helped us to plan each detail down to the order of the wedding ceremony. She is truly a gem! I can't imagine how our wedding could have been more perfect. The owner, John has created a warm and inviting atmosphere for people to celebrate their special moments. We can't thank him enough! After visiting lots of wedding venues, we found that Big Water Grill not only had the best views from the deck to the wall to wall windows but also had surprisingly affordable prices in relationship to other venues in Incline Village.Every person who works there is committed to making the experience epic! Don't miss the Big Water Grill whether you live in Incline Village or are visiting. It will not disappoint!

Three of us ordered flights and one of us ordered a glass of wine. The total bill before tip was about $95. For my flight, I asked the server to surprise me with three of her favorites. I had two reds and a white. They were all enjoyable. I think the best option for enjoying wine here is to buy a bottle and share with friends. The flights were fun to try new things, but not the best value. Overall, I enjoyed the vibe of Mayer and the well decorated space. The wine selection is also great for enjoying there or to-go. The small provisions area they have is also a nice touch. I will return!

Service was provided by Brian, one of the owners. Brian provided me professional and timely service. He knew his menu well and was confident in wine suggestions. Today I was in the mood for bubbles. Based on Brian's suggestion, for my 1st glass I had the Markus Huber Rose. It was a beautiful glass of sparkling wine. It was light, fresh, and delicate, with fruit and spice with hints of fresh cherries and berries, and a small taste of citrus. For my 2nd glass, I went a bit more traditional with the Faire La Féte Brut. This glass was very bright, crisp, and lively with notes of lemon and orange. I ended up having the cheese board (I ordered the cheese & charcuterie board but the cheese board came out) and it didn't disappoint. Each cheese was complex and special in their own way, yet the cheeses complemented each other. The cheeses paired beautifully with the Markus Huber Rose. The quince paste was amazing! One suggestion I would have would be to have board labels or a platter layout card for guests to reference to while they are grazing. Overall, this was a wonderful experience with delicious cheeses and beautiful wines in a relaxing environment. I definitely will be returning for another visit soon.
