The Bar at Bottle & Bull

A small restaurant which only has 15 tables is quite a find. Located near the lake, parking is quite challenging. The moral of the story is leave early for your reservation. And now for the food. It was wonderful. We started with the chèvre tartin. It was creamy and a good balance of sweet and savory. My entree was the duck breast. I didn't particularly like the red sauce on the plate, but the duck was wonderful and the polenta was very tasty. My husband had the risotto with shrimp. The only downside was that the tails were still on the shrimp. We shared the strawberry-passionfruit sorbet. It was creamy, but not too sweet and had an amazing flavor. When in Kirkland, this is definitely a place to try. The flavors are unique and shouldn't be missed.

Visited on a weekday night for my birthday and they definitely made me feel special! The drinks were great, it reminded us of my husband's favorite lounge bar. This hit the mark. The mixologist can also change the drinks around or make any requests. Favorite of the drink for me was Milk of the Poppy. It was such a smooth and creamy drink! Husband's favorite was the Dot Dot Dot. Best note to say was it was interesting! Ambiance is dimly lit and its not overly loud. It is a perfect lounge to just hangout and drink. Our waitress was busy as the place was packed, but she tended to us and ensured we were doing alright or if we needed more drinks. When asked what we were doing, said I was doing a little birthday celebration, and they decided to give me a coconut vanilla ice cream scoop with a lighted candle. What a flavor and it was on the house! Thank you Bottle & Bull!

We had Brittany as our server and she was so great! It's so nice to go somewhere that has amazing food and amazing service. Would definitely recommend this cute and fancy spot!

On a little bar hop evening through downtown, we made our way to Bottle and Bull. Luckily, although we didn't have a reservation, it was early enough they could fit us in. Windows were open, bringing in a nice breeze. We ended up ordering the curry clams and fries. The clams were cooked well although the curry choice surprised us. The truffle fries came with a delicious garlic aoli. We started with the Boise in the Hood and the Penicillin. The penicillin has a Laphroigh spray which I didn't like because I'm not a big Laphroigh fan, but the person I was with loved it. Even though it was still early evening, it felt intimate and cozy inside. Restrooms are large and well stocked, and service was great. Finished with a 3rd Marriage, which came in an additional bottle. Will definitely go back again.

Glad we found this spot and we also celebrated my husbands bday there. First off I loved that right off the bat they told us that dessert was on them bc of the bday. Food was delish. Drinks were delish. Granted I got a glass of wine but loved their options! It was a great experience and the ambiance was very nice. I got the mushroom pasta and husband got the burger. We both left very happy! Great time here.

Excellent. Presentation was well done. Food tasted great. Staff was really nice. Everytime you got a drink they said, "cheers!" Only complaint was the food wasn't all hot. The Brussel sprouts app was lukewarm to warm. Off all dishes that could have been hotter. The mussels were warm along with broth. The fries were the hottest food. While everything was warm, I like mine to start hot and cool to warm on the table. I didn't have to blow on anything to cool it down. The flavors were great. I get why the mushroom pasta is popular. The porcini were very "meaty" and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The bread that was served with the mussels was perfect. Dipped that in the cream broth, which had lentils. First time seeing that on a broth. The steak was cooked perfectly. I wasn't fond of the sauce on the steak. Perfectly cooked fries. Food was seasoned well. The table didn't have salt and pepper. Not sure if purposefully done but it wasn't needed. Great experience!

God dam if you ever wanted to find a speakeasy without all the extra bullshit that comes with finding one come to bottle & bull. Place has a 90s jazz vibes where I'm not surprised if someone were to bust out a cigar. It's giving great gatsby energy. Stands outs are def the appetizers and the drinks. Def get the Brussel sprouts, mussels, and the green Isaac special. If you order this with your date don't be surprised if they ask you to come over after dinner. The entrees were all right but the desserts were more memorable than my first kiss. Date night approved says the gf but def a bit of a spender.

Great vibe, great food, great cocktails and great service. Fantastic menu with a great selection. The Boise in The Hood cocktail was a spin on a manhattan and excellent. The salmon was crusted on the outside and served over black rice and a tasty puree.

Love the atmosphere here. All the people are so amazing and sweet. Drinks are always absolutely delicious. Our go to's are either a moscow mule, katie marie, or an espresso martini. If you love espresso martini's you definitely have to check theirs out!

I've been here now about three times, and I must say that this past experience left me motivated to write a review. Bottle and bowl is a cozy, warm atmosphere with a good menu, even better, staff, and pretty decent drinks. I think Kirkland is a great spot for a place like this, as they stay open late, and are a tasteful and classy vibe. I have to highly recommend the octopus on the menu, as well as the beach salad! Both 4.5 stars! I would say the drinks are dependent on who is making the drinks, I know we had a super personable bar manager named Cody, and that was really nice to interact with him and also learn a little bit about his flare on drinks. I would say that not everything on the menu is exceptional, but everything is at least tasty/good. Every every single time I have come here, it's been later in the night, and finding parking is never an issue. But be advised, if you were to go during the day, it might be a little bit busy.

Bottle & Bull is located in downtown Kirkland area near the waterfront. We made a reservation for 6:30pm on a Monday night and were seated right away for a party of five. I ordered the burger ($22) which was decent although I thought the burger patty could've used a little more seasoning. For drinks I ordered the boise in the hood ($17) and the broke in bimini ($17). Both were good although I liked the former more; it was spirit-forward with a hint of sweetness. I also tried a sip of the bourbon au poivre which was similar but not as sweet. The ambiance was good and the bar area has a really cool design. This place is good for a date night in a dimly-lit environment.

A warm and cozy vibe in this restaurant. Our server was attentive. We both ordered bourbon cocktails, which were excellent and well-balanced. I mostly eat fish and vegetarian. There were a couple of vegetarian options, but both were pasta, which didn't appeal to me. I had looked at the menu on Open Table before we went and was excited about the halibut but it wasn't on the menu. I ordered the prawn and crab risotto, which was good, but not great. My husband ordered the steak frites, which he reported were divine. The French fries were fantastic!

Sat at the bar and tried out some happy hour specials. Got the Korean sauce wings ($12) and cheese truffle fries ($8). Decent amount of fries, definitely has cheese flavor but not that much truffle oil aroma. I liked the wings which you get 6 per order. They weren't fried, but rather tender and juicy. Sauce was agreeable. Definitely enough food for my dinner. As for the drinks, I got the rosemary mule which is Moscow mule with some rosemary herb. The copper mug they use is good sized. Tasted refreshing although could feel the alcohol afterwards. Also tried a corpse reviver no. 2, which was a little sweet but has a punch. Cocktail prices are not cheap outside of happy hour, in the upper teens. Overall, was glad I tried the place out. Will drop by for happy hour once in a while.

The pork belly is paired with some slightly sweet fruit to cut down on the grease, and the meat was nice and fatty. The tagliarini was tasty. Our server, Brandonlee A was truly a star! He was very friendly and has the entire menu memorized right down to the specific ingredients used in EVERY single dish- yes, even the side dishes! He's a big reason that we had such a wonderful first experience at Noii and I sincerely hope Management takes notice and promotes this guy to become a manager because he clearly is so passionate about his job, cares about the customers he serves and so knowledgeable about the food! That's something very refreshing to see in the service industry. The lunch bento set was wonderful - the sushi upgrade was definitely worth it too IMO, because I'm a huge aburi toro fan. Everything from the beef croquette to the salad with crispy fish skin and ikura was delicious. The food presentation/plating was 10/10 and it was a feast for the eyes too. Even the grilled chicken rice bowl with the onsen egg was so yummy. We also loved the yuzu mixed drinks as well. The birthday dessert with a yuzu jelly topped with meringue and edible flowers added the perfect finishing touch to our meal. The ambience, food and service were all a home run for me. That says a lot because VERY few restaurants are able to achieve the perfect trifecta of all 3. Hopefully they will keep these high standards up! The food is quite good. I wouldn't call it authentically Mexican, but rather a contemporary, slightly elevated interpretation of Mexican cuisine. Personally, I would have loved a bit more of those bold, authentic Mexican flavors to come through, but overall, the dishes were enjoyable and beautifully presented. The staff was genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the evening. I did change my mind shortly after being seated and asked to move from indoors to the patio. Our hostess, Aguilera, gave me a quick look that said, "Really? Already?" but was very gracious and accommodating. In the end, moving outside was definitely the right call! The wooden chairs indoors look beautiful but become a little uncomfortable after sitting for a while. The carved seating cocoons along the walls are visually striking and add a lot of character, although they're probably better for admiring than for a long, leisurely dinner. The outdoor seating, on the other hand, was very comfortable. The biggest opportunity for improvement is the acoustics. Conversations really travel and bounce around the interior, which naturally leads everyone to speak louder just to hear each other, creating a bit of a vicious cycle. During a busy dinner service, it can get quite noisy. That said, I'd absolutely come back and happily bring friends or visitors for a memorable dinner. My preference would definitely be a nice-weather evening with outdoor seating, where you can really enjoy the view and atmosphere. Pro tip: Ask for a Carajillo! It's a Mexican espresso cocktail that can be surprisingly hard to find done well. They have one here, and it was delicious, beautifully presented, and one of the highlights of the evening.
