When I want to listen to a really good band. I come here. Service team is great and drinks are moderately priced.

My friends and I go here every once in a while since it's not too far away. Each time we've gone, they've had live music which is a huge plus. Drinks are reasonably priced but I'd say stick to beer. Patrons and staff are usually pretty nice. read more

Coming from someone who has worked in the service industry for YEARS, the female bartender not only insulted my roommate (calling him Wolverine), but we overheard her call my friends and I "little bitches" after giving us a hard time about our ID's (keep in mind, most of us are pushing 30 years old). The Tues Wed Thurs daytime bartender and Mike, the night time bartender are rude as $$$$. Been there many times and now, never going back. Last time Dawn was so rude and tonite, Mike was rude. This is a newer establishment in Riverview and they are still working out the kinks. I came here on a Friday night to see a band with my friend. I had never heard of it before, but I love good craft beer and it is located near where I work. Decided to give it a try. First off, it feels like a basement and they allow indoor smoking. If you don't like smoke and heading home with your hair smelling like a chimney, don't go. It is not a huge place (located in a strip mall) and there isn't a patio to encourage outdoor smoking. Parking is decent as there are overflow spots located around the sides of the strip mall. There's darts and pool tables as well. Seating is rather limited, as is bar space so be prepared to stand up on a busy night. This place is also really noisy...so you have to shout if you want to talk to someone. Beer selection is okay although there isn't much on draft and prices are comparable to other popular establishments. They do not have a drink menu (I was told they are still working on that). Squint and peek into the beer fridges if you are ordering a craft can/bottle. My friend was unpleasantly surprised by the price of her beers when her check arrived. There is no food available here. This is kind of a dive and I think there are much better ones out there. I don't think I'll be returning without a good reason. read more

Great little hole in the wall bar. Several pool tables, dart boards and even a small stage for live entertainment or karaoke. There's no food served here which means by law they allow smoking inside. Definitely takes you back to the days of old when you would come home smelling like an ash tray. Prices are decent and offer several shot specials for $2-3, even on Fri and Sat night. Because of its proximity and prices it definitely beats a lot of the other bars in the area but could stand to eliminate the indoor smoking or offer outdoor alternatives. read more

I came here for live band Karaoke on Tuesday. I never got to sing with the band, but other went up several times. I also saw several GIANT cockroaches. The beer was well priced and the staff was nice. But the experience was disappointing. read more

Great place to hangout. Live band, Jaded, is awesome and super fun. Three pool tables and dart boards and it's not super packed! I'm digging the environment, very down to Earth. Oh and ladies, the bathrooms are remarkably clean for a Friday night! read more

One star is right. This place can have great local bands and bring in those that follow. However it allows people to use vapors. You know the people that say it's not cigarette smoke it's flavored water. Come on who wants a smoke screen of nasty ass smoke wafting on them. A few people doing this acted like regulars and could care less about blowing a smoke machine worth of smoke across tables of non smokers. I say with the amount of mine lost by those not staying to drink and bad reviews for the smoke the owner should consider banning the use of the large smoke producing vapors. By far this is my favorite, smoker friendly, local watering hole. Relaxed atmosphere with good bartenders. The new owner is good about coming around and making contact with his guests just to see how things are going. We are usually afternooners and listen to the jukebox and shoot the breeze with the usual suspects and the great bartenders. Enjoy coming up during the day on Saturdays or Sundays to enjoy the Bloody Marys as well. They have bucket & shot specials along with a weekday happy hour. The new owners have done a great job and continue to put in a lot of hard work and money in revitalizing the bar to provide a place for locals to relax and enjoy the libations and maybe some hot boiled peanuts. :-) No kitchen, but they have typical bar snacks available for purchase (chips, beef jerky, nuts, popcorn, etc). As I mentioned its smoker friendly, but the new owners have installed brand new 'smoke eaters' that eliminate the smell and reduce the second hand smoke for the non-smokers. They also installed a bunch of HD TVs and have the NFL Sunday Ticket and the ESPN College Game Day packages so no matter what part of the country your favorite team hails from they can put your game on. One of the TVs they keep up for the free tap TV trivia game that the whole bar can play using a smart phone. They do a good job of keeping bands booked for nights/weekends and they also have karaoke during week as well. If TV aint your thing they have three pool tables, darts and couple of arcade games. Again, we enjoy hanging out there. Proud of all the new owners have done and continue to do to improve the place. read more

Friends of ours love this place and Come here multiple times a week. Our first visit was last Saturday night... I don't think this was "our scene." There was a band playing loud rock music and a big group of bikers. Honestly a bit uncomfortable because it seemed like it was more a "regulars" type place and we just didn't fit in. This bar is amazing! From watching games to hearing live music, it is hands down the best place to come and unwind and meet great people. Their karaoke night on tuesday is phenomenal as well as their dart tournaments on monday and wednesday. The best part though is the staff. They are a family and they welcome you into it immediately. It's ok, nothing special. At least they have Shiner Bock there, which most places don't. The bands are always cover bands but some are decent, nothing great. (Not like the original band kind of great) Even if you get a table you can still get bumped around quite a bit, it gets pretty packed in there. If you sit close to the pool tables expect to get poked or asked to "move aside". It's smokey as hell in there and there's usually a few people that dress like they're Billy Bad-ass. They wear their jackets with patches, tats and black leather but don't let them scare you. They're always fat and out of shape, lol! You know, the typical Harley biker image. read more

Bottle House is really a gem in this area of the county. There are just not that many bars you can go to and actually see good music and drink good drinks from friendly servers and locals alike. Just go. You really can't beat it. I'm 100% sure its the best bar in Riverview and 100% sure its only 1 of 2 that I would go to from Bloomingdale all the way to the south county line. That's a lot of area, so try it out! Support these folks they have made an effort to really provide the best entertainment possible at a reasonable cost. read more

I was hoping I found a cool watering hole, but the staff ignored me while shooting the breeze with regulars. I honestly gave them PLENTY of time to make it right, but they just didn't seem to care. I'll give them credit, they apologized a lot when I shut down the tab abruptly, but, unfortunately, I think that only speaks to their understanding that they blew me off. Probably a cool bar if you're a regular with the bartenders. read more
