Moon Mountain has the chillest, relaxed vibe of any coffee shop I've been to in the Brandon area. With plentiful seating for relaxation, playing board games with the friends, to drinking at the bar, this cafe is perfect for every occasion. I friend recommended this place for their coffee and homework time. So I proceeded to do the same today. The music is THE best, I loved every song they have put on. They have a guitar for any artist to play and many drink options like kava tea, loose leaf, coffee, smoothies, beer, sodas and more! The barista/bartender Zoey was super sweet! She answered all my newbie questions and recommendations. I tried their iced latte with coconut and caramel which was DELISH. The coffee was smooth with a strong flavor which I like, but not bitter. All I can say, is that I am so glad that the other coffee shop we visited that morning had one of the worst coffee's that we have ever had tasted or we would not have found this AWESOME place. When my boyfriend found it on Google, he was explaining to me that it was inside of a Vape shop. My first thought...ugh, there was no way a place like that was going to have good coffee. Let's just say, we came two days in a row because the coffee was so darn good. Not only that, but the people that work there make you feel really welcomed. They are super nice people and personable on top of that. They not only sell great coffee, but also have a good assortment of loose leaf teas, and local beers. If you vape, then this is the place to come. By the looks of it, they carry an abundant variety of flavors and everything else you might need. We are 100% fans of this place and will slowly, but surely, become some of their regulars. I stopped by Moon Mountain this morning before heading to the 4th of July parade in Brandon and I am very glad I made that decision. I have worked in the hospitality industry for many years, so when going to a store or restaurant I notice the hospitality factor almost as much as the product. I pretty much knew what to expect from a coffee house. When I walked into Moon Mountain, immediately upon entry both people working there looked up and welcomed me. Upon walking to the bar one of them came over immediately and addressed me directly asking if I needed anything or a menu and provided me one upon request before going over the menu and some of his favorites with me. When I picked the iced matcha, he immediately offered suggestions on how he could prepare it based upon the weather and what I would be doing. After providing me the drink (which was a strawberry lemonade with matcha, tasty and refreshing on a very hot day), we chatted for a few moments and welcomed me to come back to work out of the shop and mentioned they are a community, which is something I have been looking for since recently relocating to the area. I visited your shop today with my boyfriend who needed more vape juice and I never object because although I don't vape I adore the atmosphere, but mostly the crunch berry cryochino. While the gentleman assisted my boyfriend I was instead ignored by the lady behind the counter-I have served before so I get it. You had 2 customers sitting at the bar. After I stood for a minute the gentleman who was helping my boyfriend from the other side of the room finish their transaction, came over to me, took my order and made my drink. Here comes the complaint-and mind you I don't even send my food back at restaurants because I don't want to be "that person". Instead, two gentleman at the bar and the one behind started talking about oriental people, their "50 cent wage" and it just went downhill from there. It even went as far as referring to Asian people (Koreans) as "gooks". Luckily for all of them, I didn't hear the last part as I was preoccupied with something else until my boyfriend informed me as we drove off. It was perfectly okay I'm assuming to them because one of them was white, African American, and Puerto Rican. It must be fine make racist comments when you ASSUME none of them are around. Plot twist: UNBEKNOWNST TO THEM THERE IS A HALF JAPANESE WOMAN AT THE SAME GODDAMN BAR RIGHT NEXT TO THEM. It is 2018. Leave that racist shit at home. My boyfriend did you all a favor by not telling me that last tidbit because I would have embarrassed everyone there with my reveal and my drink would have gone flying. This is NEVER acceptable and I'm so disappointed in a place that I have referred all kinds of people to over the past 3 years we have been customers. I would say "sadly", but I'm not sad about not coming back. This place doesn't just appeal to those who vape or e-cigs, whatever you want to call it, but they actually have a great variety of craft beer and coffee/espresso/latte/frappes. Ever since Ive started vaping, back when Ego-T came out, Ive always vaped a tobacco/menthol blend. Unfortunately over the years, more and more "sweet" liquids hit the market, along with small vape shops. Not that it was a bad thing, just that now, a lot of the former are out of business. Yet, the sweet liquids stayed. It was getting more and more difficult to find a tobacco/menthol blend. I finally found a small shop near by that actually kept its clientele and grew fairly big for itself. They sold a brand "Moon Mountain" that i had seen before, but didnt know they had a blend of my liking. Unfortunately they to also stopped selling Moon Mountain in exchange for a cheaper brand. This is the problem Ive been having with e-liquid shops. They either dont carry a tobacco/menthol blend or they eventually stop selling it. To my surprise, Moon Mountain is based out of Brandon Fl. Although a bit of a drive for me, I can order online and it only takes 1 day to get my order. The Blend 88 is my go to liquid. I got my order today and low and behold, a freebie gift! Thanks Moon Mountain! Please continue making Blend 88! As long as youre in business, i'll keep buying Blend 88. As for the one review stating awful service, although ive never physically been to the shop, I have called several times and was treated very well. Ive spoken to two different gentlemen and both were very friendly, professional and resolved my issues immediately. Hands down, best vape shop in the Tampa Bay area...and I've tried many of them. It's worth the drive from Tampa, unless you can find a spot where they sell MM products. Even then, the staff make this place a great shop to visit. I was educated on my first dripper here- they built my first coil and even spotted me a small bottle of high VG juice to try out with it. I haven't looked back nor have I gave another thought about where I'm getting my next bottle of juice or upgrade to my setup. Moon Mountain, you're doing it right. I've been shopping here since 2013, and I've even moved out of state, yet continue to purchase my juice from them. They have a great selection of high quality liquids. The guys there are great, and incredibly knowledgeable. Even from 2000 miles away, I have yet to find a vape shop better than Moon Mountain. One thing I have to say is extremely friendly staff. I basically walked in and said I needed help upgrading my setup to something a little more advanced and this guy walked me through the everything I needed to know. You can find cheaper prices for tanks and batteries/mods online, but with that you dont get the satisfaction of having it in your hand that day. You also never know who is reputable online or if the product will get damaged in shipping. All in all, supporting local brick and mortar shop is just the right way to go. as far as their juice selection, there isnt a whole lot to choose from. My old regular store in Colorado had a massive selection (props to J Vapes Lounge). But what they do have taste really good and vapes great. Stop in and check these guys out. read more

I recently visited Moon Mountain for the first time. I am new to vaping, and they went out of their way, first online via FB and then in the store itself to make me feel comfortable. Dan helped me in the store and he was patient as I tried several flavors of juice to find something I liked. Being a recently quit long time smoker, this isn't as easy a task as it sounds. He really helped out with suggestions, and I can't thank him enough. My eventual goal is to not smoke or vape, so I don't know how long I will be Vaping, but as long as I do, they have made a customer. I also want to say that although I didn't partake of the service, the ability to go have a cup of coffee (or your choice of libation) is a nice setup. First time there, Wow what a shop. Great staff, very a knowledgeable and super friendly. Awesome selection of premium juices, mods and other equipment as well. Purchased 2 RDA's and some juice. Joined their points club and asked a lot of questions that the staff were more than happy to answer. They also offer a cafe' type atmosphere with full beverage service.
