[[HIGHLIGHT]]The outside of this restaurant definitely makes you want to step inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were promptly greeted and quickly served by Casey. She was amazing! She was attentive, friendly, helpful and just all around AMAZING at her job! The whiskey burger was recommended and did not disappoint! Cooked perfectly, juicy and so very tasty! We enjoyed everything about our experience here!

Casey is friendly and spent a good amount of time talking with us about a multitude of topics. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restrooms are clean but missing towels or a way to dry hands after washing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I snagged a napkin from the service counter just outside the restroom. Prices are fair and included a discount with presenting a military ID. This is a recommend from me! I will be going back for that burger.
We had a solid meal here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is a combination of bar, dining in, dining outside. Love the lights - it makes for more of an intimate experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was very good. He had the Shepard's Pie (made with lamb). And he loved it. I ordered from the special menu and got the Goat Cheese, Fig, sweet onion flatbread and it was delicious. Truly - hope they keep it on the main menu. Beer was cold, prices are fair. Definitely recommend!

I got the Corned Beef Sandwich and was delighted with the portion size. Lots of layers of meat that was well seasoned and goes perfectly with a good Irish Beer. The bread slices could have used a bit more toasting as they started getting soggy towards the end. But all in all, a place I would happily come back to in the future :)

Our group tried the Irish version of a scotch egg which we enjoyed. Group also ordered wings and stew, which also got good marks. All in all, it was a fun and tasty find!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe here is modern and fresh no matter what time of day you stop in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Whether you're sitting inside, out on the patio, or posted up at the bar, the service is always on point. The staff is friendly, attentive, and keeps things moving without ever making you feel rushed. Food-wise, I always come back to the sliders and the Cobb salad. Both are consistently great and hit the spot whether I'm in the mood for something hearty or a little lighter. Strandhill Public is one of those places that's easy to love and even easier to make part of your regular routine.
Get your holly and jolly, right here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place knows all about merry and bright! They've decorated to the hilt in here-and at their sister location in Tampa Heights. No corner is left untrimmed. These halls are decked and dazzling![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It sends my Christmas heart a rum pum pum pumming! Both locations have the same menu (not large, but good variety) and a fa la la fabulous holiday drink menu-served in the cutest mugs (which you can buy and take home for extra $). Both times, I had the grilled cheese and fries-both times, the sandwich was the perfect combo of crunchy and gooey -and in Brandon, it came with delicious bacon and tomato. I think this meal was less than $15... and it was so filling and satisfying. I was full for the day after a 2pm lunch. Did I tell you about the hot buttered rum? It's velvety comfort and joy, served in an an adorable winking Santa mug. Every time I see hot buttered rum on a menu somewhere, I order it. Only one time was it great-at Killington Ski Resort in Vermont. This... is even better than that. I don't know if it's the oat milk or the type of rum or a secret ingredient-but it's now at the top of my wish list, each holiday season. The elves (staff) in both locations were excellent. All of the servers and bartenders are dressed in festive attire and they seem to be enjoying the seasonal excitement. Both times, our servers knew just when to check in-and when to drop back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Both places were clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]In Brandon, there's a patio out back (with more decorations) and plenty of parking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (It's in a strip mall next to the Hampton Inn at Causeway and Falkenberg) I hope I can get back a couple more times before the season ends-and I hope they do this every year. I'd love to add it to my annual list of "jolliment." Eat, drink and truly be merry, friends!

They truly rolled out the red carpet for us. Now, the real star of the night... Chef Emilio! This man can cook. Every dish was unforgettable. We'll absolutely be back. Huge thanks to Rory for the outstanding hospitality--thank you for everything! This place is a total winner. FIVE HUGE STARS across the board!
I went to Strandhill Public for their Miracle Pop Up Experience and it so convenient not having to cross the bring. The reservation system is more like a request and they'll text you (or atleast they texted me) about four days before the date i set for reservations confirming. We were a party of 8. If Miracle comes back to strandhill definitely get a reservation and eat, because one, it's crowded but two, the food did not miss ! Our servers were kind. Our cocktails from the Miracle Menu are the same as Miracle as Mezzo, but Strandhill pre batch theirs and weren't as good as the other location where Miracle is hosted. They drinks were super strong though, if that's what you like. They do have an espresso machine, so espresso martinis are pretty tasty here. The mussels are a must try! I devoured them. My friends loved their Smash burgers, as well ! Parking is paid street parking or paid parking lot parking;
Dear Strandhill Public, you had me a grass-fed beef patties. What can I say? I like quality. With that said the smash burgers are consistently so good here. I came for the grass-fed but I stayed for the amazing flavors for sure. I also highly recommend the buffalo cauliflower as an appetizers. Overall I feel like this place has incredible potential and think live music would just really kick it up a notch. Upon speaking to my waitress about it she actually said there were complaints about it so they took it off. Here's to hoping for a change in that regard. We'll be back for more delicious food though, with or sans the entertainment.
I went here to celebrate the birthday of one friend. We were really excited, but I think we went the wrong day because everything went badly. First, I'd like to mention that the waitress was really helpful and friendly and she tried to make our dinner enjoyable. We tried some beer while waiting for the food, and unfortunately, one of us had some weird accumulation of solids inside the beer. That was disgusting. The waitress changed it, but that really turned off the mood. I tried a Guinness that was OK. After ordering the food we had to wait a long time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While waiting, we noticed that liquid was dripping from the AC of the ceiling.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That was not a big problem because we could relocate easily. Our food took a long time, even though there were few people inside. I tried the Shepherd's pie. It had good taste and it was very filling. My friends tried the Drunken mussels, Irish stew, iris whiskey burger, and fish and chips. They said it was OK. We ended with a cheesecake that was fine, but the berries on top were very sour. Everything seemed to be good until later in the night and the next morning when all of us had a strong stomachache. After this experience, I don't think we will go close to this place in the future.

Stopped in here for a beer after watching a movie at the AMC a few miles away. It is an Irish pub with food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The menus were kind of old and a little soiled so if the food is good here I will never know because I wouldn't touch the menus.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sat at the bar and asked for the name of a beer they had on tap. She gave me a generic answer and it turns out she was right. It was just called Channelside IPA. Still the interaction wasn't very pleasant and in fact was a little awkward. Definitely didn't feel welcome. Also didn't help that I am naturally a smart Alec. All I know is we definitely didn't click. I settled in on a Smithwicks Red Ale. Finished my beer and promptly left. You have got to try the mussels, they are to die for. It's an entree but we shared it as an appetizer! Drinks are good too, Caesar salad is huge. After that you won't need any other apps or entrees, we got the sliders but got them to go! read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]They turned the lights down and put little candles on the table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also had live music beginning at seven.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was a birthday party going on on the patio outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]All these things led to a very festive atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Prior to the live music they turned the music up for some reason and it was difficult to talk.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was very attentive and all our food was delicious. The portions were generous and our food all arrived at the same time. I had the wings which were just slightly overcooked and did not have any buffalo sauce on them, but I was able to just add some hot sauce. It took a long time to get our checks although we were just sitting there enjoying the music anyways. This was my first time at Strand Hill in the evening and I would definitely return. Excellent pub experience! Just across the lot from the Hampton Inn, so convenient... Started with Guinness, delicious! Had a snort of Blantons and finished with Jai Lai... The French Onion soup was excellent, so rich! I was delighted to enjoy a hearty serving of Shepards Pie...so good, and piping hot. Sat at the bar, busy upon arrival. It thinned out a bit and I enjoyed continuing conversation with a couple of peeps next to me. Deep color, rich wood interior and a fine booze selection in "the library". I was thrilled to see Blantons available and it tasted as good as it looked. Evan took good care of us from behind the bar. I'll be back! read more
How nice to visit an establishment that knows how to make an outstanding scotch egg! Best one I have had over this side of the pond! A splash of sage would be next level that's just being nit picky though! It was very good! I was very excited to see Shepards Pie with lamb they nailed it that's what it should be that will be tomorrow adventure so stay tuned a great Hefe-Weizen to accompany was much appreciated! This bar was located across the street from a hotel I stayed in for a work meeting. As I got in to town, I wanted a quick meal and a cold beer. The Strandhill was able to fulfill all of those needs. I sat at the bar and the bartender greeted me quickly. He was really nice and had good service skills. I got an ice cold mango road and ordered the boneless wings with fries. The boneless wings were ok- nothing amazing but with the beers they tasted better. I would definitely come back next time in town- would try something like Lee though to see if better on the food side. read more

We ordered takeout, the stew was a shock at 16.00 for what can only be described as a partial serving in a cup. I know times are tough, but this was highway robbery or an oversight or something. I felt so bad for my husband because he was still hungry, I gave him 1/2 of my Buffalo chicken sandwich. I don't recommend to-go, dining in is likely the better choice. Please do better, Strandhill. read more

We come here all the time and brought the in laws to try our favorite pub. They loved it, my F.I.L eyes popped out when he tried the cornbeef sliders. I appreciated that they were different from the cornbeef sandwich which my husband enjoyed very much. I tried the irish stew finally and that was insanely delicious just like the shepherds pie we tried too. Music was a little loud but it was also trivia night so the vibes were fun. Staff is always sweet and attentive which we appreciate very much. read more
This modern Irish pub is really aesthetically pleasing. It is a well kept establishment, everything really is immaculately clean, from the inside, the outside patio to the bathrooms. Service was really good, chilled but on the ball. The management also seemed to be around to help out which is nice to see. The wings were AMAZING, probably the best wings I have had in a while. They were perfectly cooked, seasoned and sauced. This place would be a great date spot, a lovely brunch spot, a nice happy spot or a great local hangout, it's extremely versatile. We were told that Friday nights are particularly busy, so we will come back when it is lively. read more

First time at the Strandhill Public. Met with warm hospitality and fantastic ambiance. Our drinks and orders were taken promptly, both of which were amazing! Adam was our waiter, we couldn't have asked for better customer service from him! Will most certainly be back read more
