My daughter and friends went there last night 7-9-26 The security at the door hit them for 40 dollars per person. It was a birthday group and my daughter paid for them all. She made the mistake of opening her wallet in front of security and saw her cash. 200 dollars for five girls to get in. So apparently they hire thieves/opportunists/degenerates. They will never go back...more than the money, who would be safe there. Security more interested in robbing their patrons instead of keeping them safe. read more

I've been going to bottoms for over 10 years. It's my favorite spot. Best dj and great bartenders. My time is unfortunately coming up as I'm aging out at 30. But those last 10 years were the best time of my life. I wouldn't trade them for anything. I recommend that club to anyone. read more

If I could give a multiple negative stars I would. Was exiting the place when people started fighting outside. Happen to be in the crowd exiting and get sucker punched by the security guard when I'm not even involved with the fighting. Then see people in middle of the road scuffling and I try to help separate and then a different security guard walks out into the middle of the street not being attacked and I get punched for a second time. At this point I get up and yell at security that I'm not even in the fight. "Cops" show up and won't even take statements. Owner,his establishment and the security he hires need to be taken out of this city definitely not a good look. The cleanliness of the place too my god don't even know how they pass inspections especially selling alcohol to minors. I'm live in Texas and wanted a Buffalo night experience of fun. My friends and I were standing outside of this club for 30-45mins in the cold. We were told that we'd be the next up, but instead they let 15 "workers" go in before any of there customers. So basically more workers in the club than paying customers. I was willing to pay at least $260 on drinks for my friends and I, but apparently they were not interested. After another 15mins outside, the same bouncer then said that they were no longer letting people in for the rest of the night. He then insisted since it was 3 of us, that we go to 67 West, the club next door thats $20 a head. Worst Buffalo experience EVER!!! And in my opinion Bottoms Up is not even worth it!! I went there for an event with a couple of my close friends. I completely understand that covid guidelines are much stricter than normal procedures. Despite this, throughout the event me as well as my companions were constantly screamed at and given rude gestures. This is our favorite place to do da dansing & drinking! As students, we need our outlet to blow off some steam, right? Bottoms Up is probably the bar that plays the best music. It's a mixture of EDM, some hip hop, and top 40's. The dancefloor is pretty small and it gets crowded really fast so be prepared. They have fish bowls here with different mixtures of flavors and alcoholic beverages. It's good for about 5-6 drinks, so it's great to share with friends. Or if you reeeally had a bad night... just go with it solo. HAHA Crowd is a mixture, you'll see a range of attire. I think there's cover for guys on some nights but it's usually just $5, I want to say. Definitely always a fun time though! read more

First time going to this club Saturday night. My friends and I enjoyed ourselves, we got in free, the music was great, and the drinks definitely on point for me. I had "Sex on the Beach" the whole night. The dance floor was a bit small I thought, and the space filled up pretty fast. There is also a small stage, which also held a few more crowds. So if your the type that doesn't mind that kind of crowdedness, then definitely check this place. Their selection of music is really great, they take it way back. I was happy to walk in to Uncle Luke's music, and after that more old school music. The bartenders are pretty quick at serving drinks even with all those people lined up to get their drinks, I didn't have to wait too long, which was good. People aren't really rude, unlike other clubs I been to. There is a mixed crowd, which is commendable because so is the music. So everyone can enjoy and party it up, and since semester ended going out was the best solution to decompress. I will definitely consider going here again. Also try to share a "FishBowl", that was the thing of the night, many people were getting it. Especially since someone was having their graduation party in there. "FishBowl" is pretty big, I don't think one person shall drink it alone, unless its been a long week then I guess. I think one can do damage with that. read more

For any event requiring an admissions fee DO NOT pay in large bills. I payed for a $15 entry with a $50 bill and trusted the correct change was given. After checking my wallet(I'll admit my mistake) 10 minutes later and found I was only given $5 in singles. The bouncer assumed I handed him a $20. Understandable mistake I would imagine he is handed hundreds of $20s a night. However when I came up to him to ask for my correct change I was instantly called a liar. He even threatened to check the cameras to prove I gave him a $20, and yet when I said "go ahead and do it" the security and himself were reluctant and refused to do so. They then threatened to call the cops if I didn't leave in which I said "please do" because maybe they would of actually checked the cameras. This is by far the best bar in the world. The first time I came here I had what the locals call a fish bowl. It was basically an entire bottle of vodka. Within minutes I was in the back alley bumming cigarettes off some sleaze bag. As a walked back inside my vision was severely blurred but I could make out the sounds of some of the finest dance music, hits like Jean Paul, "Give me the light" echoed throughout this majestic bar. As the night went on I found myself using more and more of the clubs amenities. I vomited multiple times into some sort of sink/urinal combination. The staff was more than accommodating at one point they actually carried me like a small child out the front door and onto the pavement. Bottoms Up is usually my default spot on Chippewa. Out of all the times I've gone, only once has there been a cover so it's pretty rare. It's a bit small and gets crowded but I like the vibe. All the pretentious folk tend to go to the nicer clubs so Bottoms Up tends to attract more of the chill, casual crowd that doesn't need to be dressed all fancy. Seriously, I've seen ppl dancing in their Sabres gear here so anything goes. They're famous for their fish bowls - a bunch of random sugary alcohol for $15-20 in you guessed it, a fish bowl, and shared w/ straws amongst many friends (and drunk strangers, if you wish). There's one long bar, a stage that can hold around 20-30 ppl, another small stage right when you enter, and a smoking patio in the back. Never had a problem w/ the DJ/music selection. read more

Its a very small club, maybe can fit 50 people in total. The drinks was super cheap. I think I brought 3 drinks for like $12. Very happy with the DJ. He took us back to the 90's which I loved! On 8/24/18 Me and my friend ordered the pink kitty Fish bowl and the drink tasted like nothing but watered down pink lemonade. I addressed the bartender and asked him could he switch our drinks because we were unsatisfied, and he was very, very rude. (Mind you we had both only taken a sip.out of the drink) $19 on a drink and you get bad customer service when your unsatisfied... Not my idea of great customer service. My friends and i always pick bottoms up when we chose to rent out a place for a party. The manager is so nice and the last time, his promoter accidentally double booked us with another party, he worked with us and gave us an extra hour of open bar for free. He also knew there would be too many of us to fit on their only bus, so instead of making us wait for it to come back for several trips, the manager/owner took $100 out of the money they were supposed to be pocketing, and scheduled Liberty Cab Vans to pick us up.
