The eyebrow tint and threading I received were ok (not the best), but I was very disappointed by the customer service here. I arrived on time for my appointment, and there was a client midway through a service. I had to wait 15 minutes, which isn't a huge deal, but there wasn't any acknowledgement of my appointment time or even a "welcome in". When I was told to sit down, Rekha proceeded to take a lot of photos of my face, and though there is a sign on the wall stating that these pictures are for educational purposes, I felt much more like a marketing tool than a valued client. I immediately noticed her using the same, unwashed brush on my face that she had used on her previous client. She talked herself up a lot and made some insensitive comments about how next time I could be "brave" and have my upper lip done. She also interrupted my service about halfway through to take care of a quick walk-in, which, again, wouldn't be a huge deal if she had been more polite about it. The end of the service felt rushed to me, which was probably because there was a long line of people waiting. Rekha had apparently booked two clients for the same appointment slot and also told a few others who had called that she had time for walk-ins. I know that mistakes happen, but she really didn't seem to care much, and it was very chaotic. I had also scheduled an eyelash tinting with her, which she forgot about and said she didn't have time for. At that point, though, I was happy to get out of there. TL;DR: Ok, not great threading and eyebrow tint, terrible customer service and subpar cleanliness.

I can usually go at least 6-8 weeks without needing a wax with minimal tweezing maintenance in between. I seek expert help when I notice that my brows are slightly unsymmetrical in photos (see attached) and to the point that I don't know what to do to fix them. I recently moved to the Weymouth area and Kathie's proximity + glowing 5 star reviews suggested she'd be the right one to get me back on track. I requested an appointment here on Yelp and she responded within minutes giving me times to choose from. I saw her the next evening. It's never an easy feat when someone new is about to alter one of your most important facial features, but she made me feel comfortable right away by thoroughly explaining and showing via a mirror not only what she was going to do but also why. We also discussed my medical history that might affect the sensitivity of my skin. She brought out shape ideas that were hiding in my mismatched brows that open up my eyes and frame them even better than before. The result is attached, and I only fill them with powder. Someone was wiping down chairs after every customer, and we were all seated far enough apart. They have a monthly subscription for facial threading, however you cannot cancel before six months. Regular eyebrow threading is $13. I arrived around 6:15p on a weekday, there was one employee inside and one client in front of me. The wait wasn't bad, they have calming music playing. My technician was efficient, she asked me what I wanted first and was very thorough taming my bushy eyebrows. She applied witch hazel at the end and the entire process took about 10-15 minutes. Do note that there is not tip line on the receipt, so be sure to bring cash! I walked here, so I can't vouch for parking, but I did notice a parking garage just up the street. I'll definitely make this my regular spot while I'm in Providence.
