, I would like to share my experience of residing in these apartments for over four years. During my tenure, I encountered numerous instances where individuals entered my apartment without my explicit consent, despite my previous warnings expressing my discomfort with such actions. Regrettably, these incidents persisted. In response to these repeated breaches of my privacy, I was compelled to file multiple police reports, including one for burglary due to the damage they caused to my door. Furthermore, I was left without an air conditioning thermostat for approximately three months and a patio door for six months. Even when my apartment flooded, causing significant property damage to my own, I recall that staff or maintenance did not respond the following day. Subsequently, I was presented with a document from Janet in the office, which essentially stated that my apartment had never flooded. She had provided me with a different description of the purpose of the document, but it ultimately amounted to requesting me to claim that my apartment had never flooded, despite the fact that it had . She had deceived me and had to sign a document that was false. that wouldn't be the first time. The situation escalated when the maintenance staff and apartment associates disregarded my property rights by accessing my belongings without my permission. . A particularly egregious incident occurred when the maintenance/staff did not offer assistance to enter my apartment after I had locked myself out. However, when they wanted to gain entry themselves, they disregarded my changed locks and essentially broke into my apartment. I recall a specific incident where I had just left my apartment and, as I was about to go leave the gate , I noticed the maintenance staff entering as I was leaving. Within a matter of minutes, they had already reached my apartment. They explained that they were looking for something and cooling and heating wires in my unit, which I understood to be related to the time of year when I did not have a thermostat. It is concerning that many of the similar instances mentioned in previous reviews that have been removed from the platform. However, there are still numerous similar reviews available. I am not the first person to have experienced these issues, and I believe it is important to raise awareness about this matter. Despite events, these individuals persist in attempting to extract an excessive amount of money from me, even though I was paying more than the amount I had initially stated. The discrepancy between what I paid and what they collected remains unclear, and I am uncertain of their intentions. Nevertheless, they are attempting to charge me an additional 15,000. read more

Cockroaches all over my apartment didn't know that cockroaches were "luxury." Don't bother paying more and not being able to get anything better at least my last apartment wasn't cockroach infested. They also want to tell me that it's my fault that the cockroaches are here when the first thing I saw when I moved in were cockroaches crawling all over the floor! This is disgusting and a disgusting and horrible way to live. Find somewhere else to live. Also they don't do grace periods but they don't tell you that until you move in, your rent and bills are automatically taken out every 1st of the month and it's a requirement just putting that out there. read more

I moved in back in March and my wife and three service dogs have had such a great time being here. The pool and the dog park and the whole general landscape is pretty normal but like a good normal. Everything is taken care of here. Currently everything is taken care of in regards to social distancing and mask adherence around here with management. read more

I love Boulder Creek Apartments! First of all, the staff is amazing. From the ladies in the front office to the maintenance team, I've always had such a positive and quick response. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel at home. They do a lovely job at hosting events regularly from free food to holiday parties, to wreath-making classes. I've made some good friends and feel part of a community. The apartments themselves are great. I live in a one-bedroom floor plan. I love the computer alcove, the big windows, and the crown molding in the living room/dining/kitchen area. It feels very homey and not like an apartment. The communal spaces are great too. I love the dog park which has a little dog pool. There are two large pools, both with waterfalls which is nice. There are a lot of great green spaces with large boulders that run right through the middle of the property. read more

Moved in recently from our past apartment and it's been the best decision my partner and I have made. Not only are we saving money with more sqft, but gained an attentive and responsive office staff up front. We had the pleasure of working with Evette during our move in process and it was extremely easy with her by our side. Been living at boulder Creek apartments for the past 2 years & I love it. Dog park is awesome. Having the two pools on property are a plus in the summer. Everyone at the front office are super helpful, & nice. The whole staff is great a making your living on boulder Creek a breeze. Maintenance orders are always taken care in a timely manner, & then followed up by a call from the office to make sure you are satisfied with the work order. I've been living here for about 2 years now and it's been great overall. Not really much to complain about, the front staff are friendly and attentive, the maintenance is quick and respectful. Every neighbor I've met has been either quiet and reserved (which is understandable) or friendly and respectful. They constantly have renovations and quality of life improvements and generally foster a healthy sense of community. Most bad reviews are people getting weeded out during the initial stages of leasing so I figured I'd leave a genuine review that'll help the overall rating. One last thing, the company contracted to tow cars here are relentless and not so friendly so make sure you register any guests cars immediately. read more

I've lived at boulder creek for 3 years and I love it! The office and maintenance team are on top of everything and they are so kind! I feel like they really listen to what residents say and work to make living at the complex better and better. The dog park is wonderful and the complex is large with lots of grassy areas. There are a lot of families and young couples that live here. I will say, parking can be an issue and I found the need to rent a carport spot. read more

For the price you pay and the area, these are definitely quality apartments. The price seems very reasonable for what you get (at least compared to Southern California). They come loaded with appliances, and other modern and luxurious amenities. And yes for all of us dog lovers, there is a dog park, and a dog pool. Aero LOVES being in the water, and the dog pool here helps satisfy these cravings. They have a hose to wash off your furry friend when he's caked with mud as well. I didn't go in the pool or spa here, but it has the appearance of a small resort hotel - for an apartment complex, I'm very impressed. read more

Came to look at these apartments while on an apartment hunt for a new place to call home. Our lease was ending at another complex that was horrible and we knew we had to get out but we knew we had to find the perfect place this time. No more moving every lease end and no more styling for less than what we deserved and wanted. When we came to see a unit and tour, we fell in love almost IMMEDIATELY! The apartment unit itself was gorgeous! It has a built in desk which is perfect for working at home, and the kitchen is WOW! And during the tour, the leasing manager was greeting every resident she saw and she knew most by name. It showed me she cares for her residents and gets to know them, and when every resident greeted her back smiling, we knew that was also a great sign! Moved in March 2020 just when the Covid pandemic started. The process was handled perfectly and easily. We did what we could online and then when we needed to sign in person, the manager wore a mask and kept distance while verbally guiding us on the paperwork. Living here has been amazing. The outside views are STUNNING my from our unit and the manager put us as close to the dog park as she could find. She wanted to ensure we were close so that our girls could be close to the fun. The dog park also has a pool!!!! YES A POOL! My girls personally love going there everyday. They love the pool and the water spouts. This was also a selling piece! We knew this place would be good for our girls also. The only service issues I have had and continue to have is the AC tends to freeze or lose free-on causing some uncomfortableness during Texas weather. But when maintenance was noticed, he came the next day wearing a mask, and took care of it. We are dealing with the AC freezing up still but we have not reached out to maintenance this time due to us wanting to protect them and keep them safe. Moving to San Antonio from NJ was definitely one of the biggest decisions I have ever made. I saw over a dozen apartments. Boulders creek was actually the first stop I made. Being hundreds of miles away from what I always called home, I can say from the moment I walked into the office and met the staff and management for the first time it felt like "home". Once we went on the tour, I was absolutely in love. I did see over a dozen other properties. Choosing Boulders Creek was the best decision I could have made. The grounds are clean and well kept. I moved here in August of 2021. I have lived in many many apartments! This is by far one of my favorites! I have a two bedroom that's a good size. The complex is pretty quiet and it is kept clean. Front office staff is always nice, friendly and helpful. Also one of the best thing is the maintenance staff! Super responsive usually by the next day the problem is solved. read more

I have lived in these apartments since 2010. They were wonderful and amazing in the first year or two. After management switched, everything went down hill. Rent seemed reasonable when I moved in because of all the perks. It had a great dog park, good management, everything was new. Rent goes up and quality continues to go down. The security gate is ALWAYS broken. It has been open completely for three weeks, including over the high crime holiday season. There have been many safety concerns and break-ins with tenants. One of my friend's apartments got broken into while she was out of town. The police said that it looked like someone used a key. Very shady maintenance and management staff overall. The apartment also has terrible parking. I often have to walk from the far corner of the complex, across 4 or 5 buildings at night. It is not safe for females who live alone. The gym is very small and will mostly get the job done. However, the AC is mostly non existent. Be prepared to work out in literally 82 degrees inside. If moving weren't so expensive and if it weren't for the dog park, I would have left two leases ago. My lease is up in July and I will be moving out. read more

As a resident, I don't feel safe here at all. I was awoken a few weeks ago by the sound of roughly 20 gunshots right outside my apartment, in which one of my cars was hit. Management never checked to see whose car was hit and just sent an email and gave a notice of what happened. Additionally, my storage unit that is right next to my door was broken into where over $1000 worth of items have been stolen. I have not lived here for two months and have had both of these incidents happen already. I cannot in good conscience recommend this to anyone. read more

There were numerous times when the payment portal was wrong about the amount due & we were told it was "our job to know the total". IT ONLY TAKES ONE TIME TO REGRET A MISTAKE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX HAS NO REGARD FOR RESIDENT SAFETY! I have a daughter who relocated to San Antonio for college attendance last year. Her first apartment building of choice was Boulder Creek Apartment Homes. The outside appearance exemplifies and displays resident safety at it's best, BUT IT IS ONLY A DISPLAY. My daughter has been a victim of a car burglary at least 7 times within this GATED apartment community. (which means someone with residency here is responsible for the malicious acts) The office has not provided any assistance other than inform me of this being a recurring issue in the community for anyone who has not purchased a garage at an additional cost ranging from $100. Initially, the burglary involved the theft of power cords and chargers in the car. The random selection of burglarized vehicles of choice has escalated to search for personal information, (most likely to steal identity), engine, tires, and trunk parts. In an attempt to assist with community safety, I contacted the assistant office manager -Yvette Alvarez,(last year) only to be informed the apartment complex is not equipped with cameras to assist with capturing or identifying people responsible for car burglaries within the gated community. She assured me on several occasions, she would have a security and/or police presence perform rounds for safety which has also let to absolutely no resolution. MAINTENANCE: We have recorded footage of Maintenance entering the dwelling without cause during the holiday seasons or upon identifying the car was not at home. The in-home device was planted after maintenance entered the dwelling during my daughter's vacation and upon our return, her deceased father's heirloom watch was missing. I deliberately changed the locks on the door and filed a criminal complaint(local police) as verification of maintenance entering the apartment without notification or cause. A couple of months ago, she returned home via an airline flight and the car REMAINED in the parking lot. She received a call from Yvette inquiring about access to the apartment due to the maintenance worker being unable to get in. My daughter notified management of their oversight to notify her of maintenance MEN needing access(as specified in the lease agreement) prior to their arrival and there was no response. She then explained to management that she was visiting home for management to respond "well your car is still here." (that's the most attention the office manager gave my daughter's car since the reported break in's) For safety concerns, she is relocating to a new dwelling in two to three weeks. On July 16, 2019 at 4:04 am, OnStar notified us of the theft deterrent switch being activated. Unfortunately everyone was asleep. It wasn't until my daughter prepared to leave for work that she found her engine hood up and car burglarized again. Men: Protect your wives and children and consider a safer dwelling as you can never prepare for the unexpected. Women: Protect yourself and your children and consider what more could happen without the safety of residents being considered with the highest regard! We are contacting the local news, social media outlets, and board of directors to escalate the concerns which have yet to be addressed. Best place I've lived since moving to San Antonio 2 yrs ago. They have an Excellent Class of people managing this complex, and my neighbors are very courteous and friendly as well. The units are beautiful and the grounds are always kept in order. The maintenance team is awesome, even though I've had little cause to contact them (they helped me when I locked my garage remote inside the garage & to set the controls on the heating & AC unit). Its really safe and comfortable here, and the location is very convenient, plus they have lots of tenant appreciation events! Dont change a thing Boulder Creek, its lovely living here. read more

I've been living here since the start of the year and my experience so far has been above my expectations. The manager Fatima is amazing and pays close attention to detail and is ready to address any issues. Maintenance is respectful and I see them cleaning the pool every day. The rest of the staff are warming and welcoming. My water and trash bill is like 12$! I really loved that the apartment comes with wood flooring, plenty of space, side by side refrigerators with ice makers and large bathrooms. I would highly recommend! read more

Then I have roaches among other critters sharing my apartment and this horrible experience does not get any better with some credit to compensate for the horrible experience from management and my first month rent is already due... I never resign leases.... THIS TIME I DID! And I'll do it again. This apartment has been the coziest, most fun place I've lived. The community is friendly and quiet. It's pet friendly and the staff is amazing! This is the first apartment I've decorated because I plan to stay here a while. Pool and dog pond is very clean (never see it dirty) Yes i said DOG POND! Charming property with great floor plans with lots of sunlight. Which is what drew me to this property. I was the happiest I could be while I lived there which was about 8 months. Unfortunately I had to move to a different city due to job transfer and they were very accommodating. I didn't have to pay a fine for breaking my lease as long as I moved to one of their sister properties. Michealson realty has great selections of properties across the nation so if you are mobile like me, always go with them! I am updating my review after a little less than a year of living here. Yes the first few months were bad due to those issues, but I guess that probably doesn't happen to everyone. My apartment no longer has fleas and though it still smells like smoke they did offer to move me apartments but I just did not take the offer. The past months have been pretty good, the maintenance is quick to respond and I think there are new people at the office now so everybody is on the same page now and says the same responses. I am so glad I am not alone on this review. When I moved in last year 2012, the staff was great! They're all gone now and a new team is on board- if I had one word to describe them it would be, quite frankly, RUDE. Every time I go in there I feel like I am bothering them, or maybe it's just the assistant manager. In fact, I despise walking into the leasing office every time because more than likely, I will not be greeted, acknowledged, and forced to wait for something as small as picking up a package. You almost have to create a ruckus to get some attention. In a nutshell, the apartments are great and new, but the leasing office needs a course on how to provide good customer service. I'd expect poor customer service from a fast food joint, but for the rent I pay I expect a degree of courtesy. read more

This place is the worst! HORRIBLE management! They lied and stole money from us! We applied, paid all the fees, we were approved, and then our apartment wasn't ready, so we chose another one, that apartment was leased out by another agent. Finally after weeks of Ceran telling us everything would be ready, decides to tell is that she is just going to issue a refund. A refund that will go back into our bank accounts. A week later David calls telling me it will be mailed to us. A week later that idiot ceran still claims it will be deposited in our bank account while the other idiot David is claiming the check has been sent out. Finally called corporate office to only find out it hasn't been sent yet, it was prepared to be mailed to boulder creek! Horrible people! read more

Terrible treatment of Active-Duty Servicemembers... if you are in the military or fans of our military and soldiers, please do not rent at this apartment complex. The apartment was initially advertised to us as quiet and safe, and it was anything but. The apartment complex is full of college-aged adults, with frequent screaming at 3:00am and the consistent smell of weed from the apartment below us. My car and my wife's car were both broken into on separate occasions, and there were no less than 5 attempts at someone trying to enter our apartment when we were home, with one successful entry (the gentleman quickly fled when he saw I was waiting in the living room). Advertised as a dog-friendly apartment, which really means there is dog-crap everywhere, as no one seems to want to pick it up. Parking is terrible; my wife and I had to frequently park on the other side of the complex at night, 1/4 mile away from our apartment. Terribly overpriced apartments... in addition to that, we were overcharged no less than three times during our stay there. When I received orders from the military and exercised a clause in their lease contract to break the lease before it ended, the apartment complex unlawfully withheld about $100 of our deposit. I say unlawfully because they literally broke the law. When I confronted management at Boulder Creek about this, the gentleman basically told me "too bad". I wrote a letter to Michelson Realty corporate headquarters as well and waited over a month; I have yet to receive return of the money or an explanation of why they kept $100 of my money. In addition to this review, I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. In summary, there are plenty of other places to live in San Antonio. Unless you would like a similar experience, please avoid this apartment and the corporation that owns it, Michelson Realty. Thank you. read more
