When the weather finally gave us some decent snow, we decided to rent a second snowmobile so we could ride separately. I knew it was last minute, but I called Boulder Marine Center anyways. Carmen there said she had one sled left as there was a cancellation. We reserved it and went to pick it up. Oh boy what a blast we had thet weekend. The snowmobile was practically brand new and ran great. The guy who briefed us on it's operation was quick, yet thorough. We even extended our rental for an extra day. Josh and his staff have a great business and although this is the first winter rental we have had, we rely on Boulder Marine for our summertime needs as well. Ran into an issue with my Arctic Cat created by a different shop. These guys said bring it in and looked at it right away on a Friday afternoon. They quickly diagnosed the problem, remedied it, tested it and had me up a running in literally hours. Everyone there was polite and helpful and sent me off with a handshake and a smile. Can't say enough great things about this place. They saved my trip and didn't charge me an arm and a leg to get it done. read more

Was setup to purchase a used 2015 snowmobile. Drove 4.5+ hours to get there. Contacted them days prior and was told never been in accident, carbides and hyfax new along with fresh oil change. Arrive to find out unit had been in accident that caused a-arm to bend. Which they did replace but painted and it looked horrible. Carbides and hyfax worn well below 50%. The fresh oil was from 3/2017 so 2 years ago. They could have been more honest about these issues so I didn't waste the 4.5 hour drive. When questioned they stated parts where new at one point. Don't waste your time here. A little honesty goes along way. read more

Rented from them this last week and had a good experience. Rhonda at the front desk was polite. We had brand new arctic cat lynx 570's. All of them ran perfect. They did not try to ding us for anything. They pointed out the scratches before we left, so we would not be responsible on return. Make sure you fill up with fuel and oil before return. I came up to Boulder Jct for a family event. I've been coming here for years. I rented from Boulder Marina a fishing boat. Everything went smoothly at first. We fished and loved the boat. We stopped at a lodge that said be careful there known to charge people for things they didn't do. My boat was picked up today when the owner was loading it on the trailer to pick it up he said everything looked great. An hour later a call came in saying the engine top was damaged. The engine top was damaged when we got it and my nephew pointed it out upon receiving the boat. I drove down to the marina upset about this. I had video of the boat and a picture of the top of the engine I got there and the lady that worked behind the counter was very rude I explained that the damage was already there. I went out to where they were cleaning the boat and asked another worker about the top of the engine. He said it's been there for a month. The owner came over and was still trying to blame me for the damage. He made the mistake of saying he already charged someone for the damage a second later he said part of the damage. My husband and I purchased a pontoon from Boulder Marine. The sales process was incredibly smooth - not to mention we got the best price in the state (believe me, I'm a "researcher"and shopped around). Upon delivery, there was an issue with the motor. Of course it popped up after the Boulder Marine staff had left (we live 3 hours from Boulder Junction). We contacted them and immediately they took action by sending someone down to fix the problem. Not only did he fix the problem, he drove 6 hours round trip twice in one week and fixed the motor in torrential downpour while the lake had a no-wake ordinance in effect because of the spring rain. These days you almost expect to have to battle to get the customer service you deserve. Not with these folks. Customer service is high priority at Boulder Marine and because of that, they will continue to get our business. A special shout out to Rhonda, Mike and Todd - all of whom are awesome. Rented 9 high performance snowmobiles for a guys trip on 2018 MLK weekend. Overall excellent service, great management, fair prices.

Will NEVER use their snowmobile rental again. When my friends and I got there we were charged $1000 extra that we would get back when we returned snowmobiles. We weren't told of this ahead of time. When snowmobile was returned I had cracked the windshield. Was told they couldn't do the check of the machine until that night. Of course we had to leave before then. They called the next day and said stuff was broken that wasn't when I dropped it off. Charged me over $900 for repairs! I was perfectly willing to pay for what I broke but couldn't argue about the other because I had already went home. They should have inspected the snowmobile while I was there. For what they charged for repairs and rental I could have been halfway to purchasing his own! If I could leave no stars I would! My wife had originally written this review. Before it was taken down boulder marine contacted someone else in our party and threatened to sue if we didn't take review down. Not sure why they didn't contact me since we had been in contact for several days. I rented a Fish and Ski boat for our trip at Minocqua Wisconsin. The staff were super helpful and delivered the boat on time with all of the gear. We went tubing and skiing and the boat worked great! The boat is roomy enough for 5 and has enough power for all of the fun activities! We ran the boat all day and it only ~$20 for gas! When we returned the boat it was inadvertently missing a small part and instead of charging us they just repaired it and did not charge us! Very professional!! I wouldn't hesitate to rent from BOULDER Marine again and I highly recommend them!! They're excellent!! They also have other great equipment to rent as well! Just make sure that you call well in advance of your excursion since the ski boats and jet skis book up fast. read more

We've rented snowmobiles from here before and did so again last week. We rented 4 almost new high performance sleds which were in great shape (at least they were when I started). Unfortunately I had an accident and hit a tree, luckily I was ok but the sled was not. James (the owner) and his staff were super cool about it and were genuinely concerned about my safety over the sled. They rented me a replacement sled for the next day so that my whole weekend wasn't shot and worked with me on trying to minimize the cost of the damage.
