I'd book a year if I needed to, I just wanted to know my rate for the year. I was told not to worry about it and just put it on autopay there were no advantages to booking so far out. Here I am, 3 months in, and I just got a post card that SAYS MY MONTHLY RENT WILL DOUBLE IN 37 DAYS! What's to say that in another 3 months it doesn't get doubled again? What seemed like a decent alternative is turning into a nightmare. I'm not a fly by night college student. This group either wants long term stable customers or it is wants empty units. I can find alternatives too.

After several months my rate on the new unit nearly doubled, and when I called to complain, was told that I had gotten an "introductory rate, and now it was nearly double. He said they had notified me by mail postcard that the rate was going up. But I never received the postcard. Meanwhile the winter rate is a small fraction of what I've been paying to date. This is a deceptive business practice, and I will NEVER do business with this company again.

That price increase in such a short amount of time is beyond inflation and felt misleading. I hope they reconsider this policy because otherwise, I was satisfied.
