I expected the change over to a different unit to be a drawn-out process, but the onsite staff made it happen quickly and painlessly. And they still honored the online reservation price, a big win for me. As for the unit, I got a 10x15 driveup with a roll-up door, which is necessary in light of the size of some of the furniture I'll be putting in there. But there's an added bonus in that the unit has a 2nd door on the back that makes it accessible from the inside of the building. Another win as it allows me to put items that I might need to get to frequently near the inside door while the larger, long-term storage items can stay by the exterior door and out of the way. I am a repeat customer of this location. And as long as I remain in the area it will be my storage of choice.

BEWARE!! STORQUEST STOLE MY LIFE THIS WEEKEND!!! My 10x30…read moreunit was auctioned "ACCIDENTALLY" to someone-after renting here for 3 years and paying them thousands of dollars, assuming my belongings were safe in storage here. So far, all I have gotten was "SORRY, IT WAS A MISTAKE" from the manager Mary. After logging into my account and noticing one of my units was no longer showing, I called them immediately and was informed that they "didn't know why it wasn't showing" and "think it may have been auctioned", like it was no big deal? HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN??!! It was only after begging the employee to have the manager Mary call me ASAP that I was able to confirm with her that, YES, it had indeed been "accidentally auctioned" along with someone else's unit that was also "accidentally auctioned" because of her "mistake". How do 2 different customers' storage units get accidentally auctioned?!? I have made several panicked calls and left voicemails PLEADING for them to fix this ASAP. As if that was not bad enough, Mary (manager) also informed me that she was ALLOWING THE BUYER ACCESS AGAIN LATER THAT DAY to empty the remainder of my unit!!!!!! This was AFTER she had admitted to me that she was sorry and this was her "mistake". She was going to allow him to continue taking THE REST of my belongings out of MY UNIT that SHE accidentally auctioned??!! AFTER she had asked him to bring everything back and told me he understood and had agreed to bring everything back. And she didn't understand why that would be a problem? ALL of my irreplaceable belongings ARE GONE! And not one employee at Storquest seems to care about resolving this, which makes it seem like this is just something normal that happens all the time there?? No one there has seem alarmed/concerned at all by this. Aside from this experience being a complete nightmare, THIS IS FLAT OUT WRONG AND ILLEGAL!! This is everyone's worst nightmare when deciding to entrust a storage company to store your life at their facility. They have not done anything to get my belongings, memories, my children's keepsakes back!!!! I will be contacting a lawyer TOMORROW and aggressively pursuing legal action against them!! It came in the mail to my parents while I was overseas (I never received any communication by email). For this reason, I wouldn't use them again. That price increase in such a short amount of time is beyond inflation and felt misleading. I hope they reconsider this policy because otherwise, I was satisfied.

I was told by the manager that she could not lower the rate, and so I moved out of that unit and into another, booking online to get the best rate. After several months my rate on the new unit nearly doubled, and when I called to complain, was told that I had gotten an "introductory rate, and now it was nearly double. He said they had notified me by mail postcard that the rate was going up. But I never received the postcard. Meanwhile the winter rate is a small fraction of what I've been paying to date. This is a deceptive business practice, and I will NEVER do business with this company again.
