After reading the responses Boulevard Bridal & Prom left for customers who were not happy with the service, I will stick with my decision to never recommend this store to anyone. I was hoping that as time went by, they took the reviews of customers who were not happy to improve and provide better service. I can see they don't care to make improvements. I was thinking of suggesting them to a friend but wanted to check ratings first to see if they improved from the time I was in there several years ago. Sadly, they have not. I am very disappointed that the owner is still as much a snob as she was when I came with my bride. I will be recommending Bell Tower Bridal. I was hesitate to drive 2 hours to this place, but I am so glad I did. The shop owner was a gem! So kind and helpful. The only store that I found in St George with modest Mother of the Bride dresses. I talked to the sales lady, tried one on that I chose, then she brought one in. First: my friend & I secretly bought the dress our other friend picked out so we could surprise her at her engagement party. We explicitly told the staff to keep it a secret & just tell her that the dress had already been purchased by someone else. When our friend called the store a few days later to see about the dress, the staff member told her that her friends already bought it for her. Second: I called to tell the manager (it ended up being the owner, Karen) that my friend, our friend's fiance, and I were all extremely disappointed that they ruined the surprise. I mostly just wanted an apology and any attempt to make reparations. Instead, Karen tried to pin it on us saying that she felt uncomfortable with the situation (even though she was more than happy to be part of the surprise last weekend). The worst part is that she was EXTREMELY rude to me! She cut me off multiple times, she repeatedly told me to "get over myself," she even said, "screw you," & then she hung up on me in the middle of a sentence. This kind of behavior is UNACCEPTABLE from any employee. I asked who she reported to, and she just said, "I'm the owner! How do you think this works?" So I made it my business to make sure she doesn't get more business. I used to refer people here because of the affordable dresses, but it's not worth putting up with the rude staff members! TL;DR: The owner (Karen) ruined a surprise from the bride's friends & groom, then she was super rude when I called to let them know how disappointed we were. read more

This is definitely a store I would NEVER frequent again. After paying towards a dress for two months, the wedding was cancelled. I still owed $550, but had already paid over $400. I explained the situation to Karen, the owner, and how I would like my money back and that I would be willing to pay a $150 restocking fee, or I would wait till she sold the dress to get my money. She told me that they are not in the business of making refunds and that i should come and finish paying off the dress and resell it myself. I understand that some people may abuse refund policies, but I never even "owned" the dress and now this dress shop is able to resell their dress and keep my money. I am a single mom with 6 children and this shop has no compassion toward families and as I see it are in the business of getting something for nothing. I only had two days to find and tailor a formal for a spectacular wedding in Newport Beach, Ca, and they not only found the perfect dress, but located a seamstress who could tailor the 3 skirt dress in ONE evening ... amazing. I would recommend avoiding this shop and the owner like the plague. I went into this store without an appointment to just look at wedding dresses and the woman working couldn't even be bothered to greet me with a friendly hello or a "how can I help you?" She was very condescending when I told her my wedding day was 5 months away. Her response was something like "Well you need to get on it." After trying to explain that I was looking for a dress that was not too fancy, her response was "Well its one of the few days in your life you get to be fancy." She clearly did not want my business or want to try to help me find a dress for one of the most important days of my life. Like in one of the other reviews I would give her no stars (or even negative stars) because of her demeanor.
