I brought a gown there to have the hem sewn. It had panels with a raw edge because of mesh or tulle fabric alternating with a sewn hem. To make a long story short, I paid a lot, went there twice, and it wasn't done. Maybe the seamstress cut something but I didn't want that done. When I went this past Mon to get the dress there was no time to bring it elsewhere. I did not get to wear it to a family wedding Thursday. It cost a lot and I felt that I was lied to about the work being done. The owner is away so I didn't speak with him. Live up the block and have been going here for years but no more being lazy. Going to find another cleaners. Not once but twice my son and I brought suits here to be cleaned after an event. One was brand new! Well we pick them up and take them home without checking and months later we get the suit out only to see the pants are missing! We can't say anything because it's months later and that's our fault for not checking but we assumed everything was intact. read more

Wish I could give them no stars. The lack of care or concern for your garments is beyond understandable. They never clean your items properly. I have gone there for 4 years because of the convenience to my place but it's always the same result. My last go around, was yesterday. I asked them to clean two wool coats, there were still dried stains on my coats (yes both) and it didn't even look like they took the time to use a lint brush to remove the extra lint. The young lady at the front desk does not care, she is rude and just says it's the best they can do. Never going back. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Here's my story: In October, I had to order a gown for my best friends wedding as I was in the bridal party. Upon doing my measurements with the bridal boutique I was advised to order a size 22. I refused as I had intended on losing A LOT of weight so I decided to order a size 18 in October of 2018. Since October, I have lost 100lbs. Now, I am not the size 22 they originally wanted me to order, or the size 18 that I did order but now, I am a size 12! I was unable to exchange the gown for a smaller size as it was a custom order. I needed a professional to make alterations. Immediately, I thought of Tulin from Boulevard Cleaners as she has done amazing work for my mother in law, bridesmaids and groomsmen for my wedding. I met with Tulin at the end of April for alterations and was advised for pickup on May 22. Today, May 22, I received a call that my gown was ready (umm... there are proms going on and she finished exactly on time!!!)! As I picked up my gown and tried on, I was AMAZED! Tulin literally changed this dress so much and made it essentially custom fit! She altered my gown from a size 18 to a size 12 and you'd never know it was that large, ever. Tulin has seriously increased my self esteem so much as she complimented me in the gown and I really feel amazing! Tulin, a million thanks for handling my gown with such care and precision. Loyal, repeat customer for quite awhile. Picked up my clothes and paid my bill with my bank card. Returned a few days later only to be told I had an outstanding balance. I was told by the established I could not leave until the bill was paid since they "had no record on file." Went on my phone and showed the young lady the bank statement proving my payment. She called the owner who told me over the phone my bank statement wasn't good enough! He then actually was upset with me when I informed him I would take my business elsewhere if this bill was not resolved! He ended the phone call by helpfully saying he would "look into it the next day." I wish him the best of luck, because there will be no next day for me and taking my business elsewhere. read more

I used to go to the dry cleaners a long time ago and I used to think they were very good I don't do too much dry cleaning anymore but I decided that I wanted to go and have two of my winter jackets dry clean instead of washing them mind you it does not say anything about dry clean only so they could be washed I go in and I have two jackets that I'm not worth that much maybe $60 a piece $70 the most I asked the girl if she can try to get some of the stain out because I wear makeup and some of the makeup got on the collar area mind you the jackets were not that dirty just more about the makeup that got on the collar area and of course a nice fresh jacket for the winter so she looks at it she starts putting the stuff into the computer and asked me would you like to pay now or when it's picked up I said I will pay now not a problem she gives me the total $64 for two jackets I said excuse me can you can you tell me the price again she tells me the price again I said for what why would you be charging me $30 plus for a jacket to be dry clean this is not a jacket that's worth anything the jacket alone only cost me about $67 and you want to charge me half the amount of money just to have it cleaned she said yeah that's the price I said I'm sorry I said no thank you do you think that she would have said well let me see what I can do to try to bring the price down or explain to me a little bit further why oh I'm sorry that's right she did she said it's because it's a down jacket first of all it is not a down jacket that was number one and number two is even if it was a down jacket why would it be that much to dry clean a jacket I'm not that familiar with the prices but I damn know that that is a price that should never have been quoted to me I was not asking for anything but just a simple dry clean to try to get the stain out of the collar that's all I know I will not be returning there ever nor will I recommend anybody to go there which I was going to since a lot of the people I know we're going to the one that closed up in New Dorp so they will be finding a new dry cleaner definitely not this one read more

Worst cleaners ever! I had a stain on the inside of the sleeve of my suit jacket which i pointed out to Boulevard. They dry cleaned the jacket, rolled the sleeve down, didn't address that they couldn't get out the stain and made me pay for it. The stain was of course still there when I took the jacket home and rolled the sleeve back up (the style of the jacket is to roll the sleeves to expose the silk lining.) In another instance, I dry cleaned a skirt here. As I was walking out of the cleaners my boyfriend noticed he was getting tangled in a long, dragging string. The hem of my pleated skirt had started to completely unravel. They just passed the skirt off to me without mentioning that this had occurred or offering to fix it (there's no way they couldn't have seen that.) Thankfully we caught this right away and went back in and made them fix it. In yet another instance, I dropped off a dress to be cleaned. When I took the dress home and went to wear it- the underarms still smelt like my deodorant and like the dress had just been worn. I blame only myself for continuing to take my clothes here because there hours are conducive to my work schedule. No more- I have reached my final straw. I will figure something out so that I never have to use this establishment again- and you'd be smart to take my advice! read more

They do an excellent job with dry cleaning and my husband laundered shirts. The prices are very fair and the staff is really friendly. The tailor is excellent, she did original hem on my jeans, you can't even realize any alteration was done at all. read more

After taking my purple Michael Kors jacket to a cleaner other than boulevard , it was ruined ! I took the jacket to boulevard and they meticulously marked every stain that was on the jacket and for a very great price they had it ready the very next day and it was completely perfect like brand new. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of a good cleaner. I had the pleasure of meeting with the owner who is just a very nice man. After they delivered wrong clothes to me , couple of times and then finally, they lost my clothes my bd has record, that they picked up, however, they claimed it is "fake Record", they wont' pay for the lost, they are not responsible for the lost, either. Absolutely the best cleaners. They are generous, professional and caring. I had purchased a dress for my daughter to wear for a party, one hour before the party as she puts the dress on and we realize that there are black stains on the dress. I immediately take the dress to Boulevard Cleaners. Not only did they get the stains out it was done in less than an hour.
