I came in to get some pants tailored. The quality of the work was top-notch and the pricing was very reasonable, but the reason I rated them lower is because the lady yelled at me during the measuring process and appeared to get very frustrated that I didn't turn towards the mirror in the way that she needed. However, I could not understand her fully due to her accent-- maintaining a professional demeanor in a challenging situation matters. read more

Must be new owners I'm not sure why they have such a high rating? They are very very rude. I called to inquire about a sewing/repair service, I was interrupted mid sentence when asking and was told I had to come and show it to them. When I went, I was never greeted or acknowledged I showed them what I need done and was told "can't help you, go to a dry cleaner". I asked if it was fixable and was told "idk, do what you want. Go to the dry cleaners". I never came across such rude customer service in my life! I don't recommend this place at all. read more

Randomly found this place on Yelp and I am so glad that I did! I came here with my mom to get her dress for my upcoming wedding hemmed on the bottom. Very friendly service and they got the job done within a week. My mom tried the dress on on site when we came to pick it up and it looked great! Very decent pricing as well. I was recently in need of a new Dry Cleaner/Tailor and after asking around and doing my own research I decided to bring a cashmere overcoat that has a lot of sentimental value to have its lining replaced, pockets redone as well as replacing buttons. I came here in the past to get my raw denim hemmed and was more than happy with the end product. The stitching and finish were well done and all for $10 including a $5 tip. From past cleaners, the price would range from $20-$30. The staff and owner are very friendly people and are attentive to detail. Came here based off reviews and I'm even happier than i thought i would be. Came to get a pair of pants slimmed down and tapered. They did exactly what i had asked and was ready for pick up in only 3 days. Cost 20 bucks for the alterations , which I'm not sure is "expensive" or "cheap" but i would pay 20 dollars over and over for quality and perfection like this. This place is wonderful. My family has come here as long as I can remember for any dry cleaning or tailoring needs. I come here all the time to get my clothes, especially dresses, taken in because there is something truly fantastic and confidence boosting about having my clothes fit exactly right, instead of being a bit too loose and out of shape. I am a retired professional dry cleaner in which I was in the business for 25 years and I'd start off by saying that this is by far the best dry cleaners on Staten island. I walk in and I'm greeted by Jean, the tailor who's always so nice and attentive to my needs. Every single item I brought in for repairs or modification has been perfectly executed in a timely manner. If you're looking to get something hemmed or modified, you can tell Jean the length or you can have it fitted on premises, just ask her for what you and it and she'll do a marvelous job. You can always tell whether or not a dry cleaners uses cheap or expensive solution by the smell of your clothes once it's returned. If the scent is overbearing, you know that it's cheap because they're overcompensating for what it's lacking. Poor dry cleaning can actually wear out your clothes so if you care about what you wear and want quality dry cleaning, this is the spot. Scott, the owner and dry cleaner also does an excellent job at removing stains. Lastly, the price is below average. It only costs $1.50 to launder a shirt and $4 to dry clean a pair of trousers. Dry cleaning doesn't get much better than this. read more

I had a wedding reception to go to in Staten Island. Unfortunately my blazer had a slight rip in the back with a huge stain near my breast pocket. My friend recommended that I go here and I was blown away. After telling the owner, I needed the blazer later that night, she quickly fixed the rip and went ahead to dry clean the suit.
