From the moment you walk in, you feel that this practice genuinely cares about people--not just teeth. I was first introduced to Clearwater Family Dental when I brought my mother (75, living with dementia) and my 95-year-old stepfather. The entire team made them feel safe, respected, and comfortable, and both were extremely pleased with their extractions and updated dentures. That experience alone spoke volumes. After that, I decided to become a patient myself--and I'm so grateful I did. My experience here has been night and day compared to previous dental offices. The attention to detail, education, patience, and skill of Certified Registered Dental Hygienist Nicole Osika was exceptional. As a caregiver, I had admittedly neglected my own dental care, and she truly had her work cut out for her. I only wish I had taken before-and-after photos of my cleaning--I honestly feel like I have brand-new teeth! What stands out most is that this practice is clearly not driven by money alone. It's evident that management truly cares about their employees, their patients, and even the environment, embracing a more natural and holistic approach to dental health. I neglected having a regular dentist for a long time. Part of it was growing up with parents who…read morereally only fix things when they go wrong and suck at preventative maintenance so I knew I would be dealing with headaches trying to get my mouth squared away. Of all the local providers that were in network for my insurance, Dr Mang's office had the best feedback. I have overall had good experiences so far. I went in with the goal of finally fixing a front tooth that I broke in half back in 2004 that was getting darker over time. Before tackling that I had a series of smaller fillings and cleanings and things just to make sure I was in the right hands. The office has several dentists on staff (I think I've had all of them work on me at this point) and I really really love Dr. Ware. She is an absolute perfectionist, and when it comes to your front teeth you really want perfection. I wanted a zirconia crown for both durability and better color coverage. Those are lab made and have a week and a half to two week turn around vs same day porcelain. My temporary crown was not a great color but it was only there as a placeholder and I wasn't concerned. She revised the crown once it arrived as the color was off a little bit and the lab missed the notes on wanting to keep my center gap (I would rather have symmetry). I managed to knock the temp out a couple times in the midst of back to back hurricanes but by the time the final arrived I hauled ass to have her set it in and I couldn't be happier. It really looks like it belongs in my mouth. The front desk staff are fantastic. I love the text hotline and have used it to change appointment days/times because I find it easier than phone calls. The hygienists have been fantastic too. No one was too rough or too gentle on my teeth. And the waterfall fountain in the front office is a pretty sweet touch for those with anxiety about being in these offices.

Instead, the procedure was completely painless, smooth, and far less stressful than I ever imagined. For the first time since the original damage happened, I was able to get the problem resolved without pain and without the overwhelming anxiety I had carried for years. I'm incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Giddens & ALL of the hygienists (I've probably seen every single one over the last two years lol) who takes my anxiety seriously and creates such a calm, supportive environment.
