I liked her hygienist, Anna Maria so much that I followed her to Dr. Hopwood. Over the weekend an older crown shattered. I was concerned, as I was still awaiting my initial appointment with Dr. Hopwood. So, technically I didn't have a dentist. On Monday I called Dr. Hopwood's office to see what I should do. They were able to get me in the very next day to at least get a look at the tooth now missing a crown. Dr. Hopwood said it needed a temp crown asap. The tech made one on the spot and it is the best temp crown I have ever had. Outstanding skill and service. I could not be more please and frankly, amazed. In a world where service seems to be an obsolete concept, it is still alive and well at this establishment.

He took time to explain exactly what and why he was examining my tongue, sides of mouth, etc. He did a thorough gum exam and suggested some treatment for problems i mentioned. They called Aspen Dental to request ALL the X-rays they had taken and said i needed to go there in person and sign a release , which I told Dr. Hopwood i would prefer not to interact with them and he could take X-rays at my next visit. This doctor was so very kind and reassuring without being obsequious or speaking down to me and i truly appreciate that. I have a good feeling that this will be a great experience and have absolutely no reservations about recommending Dr. Hopwood to friends and family, which I do almost on a daily basis!
