The shower door didn't fit properly, and I nearly cut my hand trying to adjust it. The shower head only dribbled water instead of providing decent pressure, making what should have been a relaxing shower frustrating instead. A clean room isn't enough when the service is poor and basic amenities don't function properly. Would I stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone? Absolutely not.

I sat in the courtyard instead and browsed online for some dinner (see Agave & Rye). I wasn't super impressed with the decor of the room, it felt very much like an 8 year old's superhero bedroom, but I can't deny that the hotel as a whole felt very clean and I appreciated that I had a mini fridge in the room. It seems mini fridges are becoming less and less common in hotels, so I'm always relieved when one is provided. I was only in town for one night, and while I was disappointed that I didn't get to use the pool or the gym due to the doors being locked, I was happy to have a clean room and a comfy bed to sleep in. *I loved the pool table and hot cocoa bar in the lobby! I think it's so important that hotels provide guests with a space to socialize and engage with one another.
