The concessions are vital to a theater's resources and having many options is great. My only concerns have never been addressed by owners or management. The bathrooms in the lower section are tiny, dark and smelly, even at opening hour. The wait lines are long so you miss a lot mid-movie. The upper section has no bathrooms, but rather porta-potties, which aren't cleaned daily and are very dark at night. Another concern is projector brightness. Screen 1 has the brightest and largest screen and even dark themed movies are quite visible even in the rain. It helps that the projector is housed across the snack bar and very close to the screen. Screens 2 and 3 are projected from much farther away and into smaller screens. It seems that the projectors must be upgraded to liquid cooled laser projectors, whose brightness and clarity isn't affected with a proper lens. Instead in a dark themed movie, all one sees is only what is bright and so you're left guessing what's going on in the screen. This totally ruins the experience of going to the movies. There aren't many outdoor movie screens left and having the opportunity to enjoy one is an amazing experience. I truly hope and pray management addresses these issues, so that this establishment can continue to be enjoyed by generations upon generations!

I signed up right away to the drive-in site for future events notification. We are familiar in the area so getting to the drive-in is not a hassle at all. There are friendly staff members who guided the movie goers for effective parking and pleasurable viewing. The movie theater location is in the New York Hall of Science parking lot and the screen is fronting a good view of Terrace on the Park. The adaptable comfort zone is clean, convenient and follows Covid protocol. Luckily, we received a complimentary snack box courtesy of Apple TV+. The film is a free event too. Let's support the cause of this drive -in theater. It gives pleasure two ways.

LOL. To have one right in our borough, in our very crowded city, is such a treat. And it was all free. The second time we went we even got free treats left on our windshield. The staff was amazing. They led us through the maze of metal barricades and cones to the viewing area, made sure we were parked appropriately on the lawn, good enough to view the screen perfectly straight on, and helped us to turn all of our lights off. When we weren't able to tune them all off while still listening to the movie audio on our radio, they came around and lent us a portable radio. That way we could turn the car completely off and listen to the movie audio from their borrowed radio. There was also a food stand, but we had dinner beforehand and brought our own snacks, so we didn't order from them. All in all, a pretty awesome experience for the whole family. We visited this venue to see Vanilla Fudge perform, and it turned out to be a hugely enjoyable experience. Parking was a breeze, making our arrival stress-free. Inside the theatre, everyone was incredibly accommodating and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. This theatre is renowned for a live entertainment venue that hosts concerts and various performances in an intimate setting. The seating was comfortable, and regardless of where we sat, our view of the stage was clear and unobstructed. Additionally, there are lounges on two levels, providing cozy spots to relax before or after the show. A friend got us on the list for the founders room which we went into before the show. This place is awesome! It's a really cool speak-easy with hidden rooms and unique antiques. The staff was really friendly both in here and inside the venue itself. There was a mix-up on our part about the meet and greet, but they took care of it for us and made it happen. It's unusual for such a large venue to have such great personal service, but that is how they treat everyone. The staff seems to have a really great time working there, meeting the audience, and enjoying the show along with us. This is one of our favorite venues on Long Island. Looking forward to going back for more great shows!

The acoustics for the theatre are also of high quality, I heard iLUMINATE rock this theatre with their amazing sound! Getting there earlier allowed us to get our drinks ( there's a two drink minimum) before the show started. Once the show starts it did take some time to reorder. I think they could have used a few more servers as the show was sold out this evening. We did not order food so I cannot comment but there were a number of various food items to choose from. The comedians material are all different so there's a style for everyone. It does get noisy especially if seated under or near the wall mounted speakers so be aware of their location when being seated. I was impressed with the "manager" Lauren who stopped by our table to welcome us and we had an interesting conversation. I was quite surprised that she also performed herself as the opening act and was very humorous herself. Overall a great place to see upcoming comedians and have a good time. One note you may get that occasional heckler who thinks he or she are funny too. The comedians did a nice job of handling but I think the establishment should take a stronger action when this occurs as I saw some attendees getting upset. I was sober and dressed so those aren't the reason. Not sure who pissed in his cornflakes that morning but I hope he adjusts his attitude and is better in the future. It's very rare that I get out to concerts in Long Island since I am relying on mass transit but…read morewhen its a band like Judas Priest you make the proper arrangements and mobilize to the event. This Yelp however is about the place to pregame before the show and since I am unfamiliar with the area, I had to ask friends who have been there often what the available options were for me to explore. The biggest recommendation was the bar a few doors down from The Paramount Theater called Huntington Village Tavern. So far I have been here twice and since I don't know when I will be in the area again I wanted to Yelp something up. Spatially speaking the bar is nicely laid out. You have some hightop tables at the front of the big bay window that looks out onto the avenue, the main bar (which is rather long) and a back area that I think houses a pool table. I didn't go back there so am not 100% sure. Now my standard fare at a bar is a couple of pints of beer and not much else. I am not a spirits guy but the tavern appeared to be stockpiled with all of the needed good stuff for the customer who requires that. There is no food being served at the bar, but they allow you to bring in stuff to eat and right near by is pizza, some burgers and a wonderful Spanish food place. I went to that last one but that it for a Yelp of its own. The bar staff was congenial and served my party their drinks nice and fast. This was great since the time frame that I had to get into the show was not really much. I had a WiFi signal when I was in there so am assuming it was theirs but I cannot confirm that this is the case. I will definitely go back there should I be planning on an event at the Paramount. You should do the same.
