One of my favorite spots for steak on the island! The food is always delicious, and the steak is juicy (I love a medium steak)! Their calamari is really good and well battered. I popped by for lunch and it was quiet. Dinner can get a bit busier. Service is prompt and food is delicious!

I came here for a birthday celebration and had an amazing time. The atmosphere was great with a sophisticated vibe on the inside. The staff were friendly, they checked on us throughout our meal and were very pleasant to speak to. The food was great, the oysters were fresh, the mac and cheese had a good ratio, and the steak was perfectly cooked and juicy. It was on overall great experience and will definitely be coming back.

An upscale steakhouse that will treat you well and have you walking out feeling stuffed! This is the perfect spot for a date night or special occasion, or maybe you want to take advantage of the amazing lunch specials. We came for dinner, and our waiter was great. He tended to our party of six, catered to allergies and adjustments. The meat was cooked to perfection - every one of our dishes! Nothing bad to say - this was a great first experience, and I'm definitely looking to come back for lunch or a cocktail. This is ranked as a must-visit Long Island steakhouse in my book!

This was by far one of the best steaks I've ever had -- cooked to absolute perfection. The shrimp and lobster wontons were packed with flavor, and while the crème brûlée was just okay, the banana cream pie was outstanding -- definitely a must-try if you stop by. I also opted for the wine pairing with my meal, which I'd highly recommend. The service was excellent; our server checked on us frequently and made sure everything was perfect. This spot is definitely on the higher-end side, so dress to impress, casual wear not recommended.

I have heard good things about this restaurant but it was my first time going this week during Restaurant Week (a great way to try different items). First off, the restaurant has a great upscale environment. For the meal, I had the shrimp/lobster wontons, the Filet Wellington and the chocolate sauced strawberries for dessert. I loved the Wellington! So delicious and cooked perfectly medium rare. The wontons were good too. We also got the scalloped Parmesan potato side, duck fries and banana pie. The potatoes were a bit undercooked but flavor was good. DEFINITELY get the banana pie it was 10/10! I also opted for the wine pairing with each dish and I highly recommend it. The pours were generous lol. Service was also good with the food coming out in a timely manner. Definitely will be back again!

Came here and had dinner at the bar, I wasn't very hungry so I split a burger with my boyfriend, they were kind enough to serve it in half for the both of us. I also had the shrimp and lobster wontons. The food was delicious. I've had other dishes from the menu before but I wanted to try something new, and of course I was not disappointed. I almost forgot to mention the dessert and the oysters! Also very delicious.

Tellers is one of my favorite places on Long Island! It's a beautiful steakhouse that used to be an old bank (hence the name, Tellers!) I've been here plenty of times for lunch and dinner but decided to try their new brunch menu this weekend. The meal started with complimentary cinnamon roll which was delicious. The texture was more danish/croissant-like than a traditional cinnamon roll but it was warm and fresh and served with an extra side of cream cheese frosting which was PERFECTLY sweet and tart. For mains, I got the short rib egg dish and my fiance got the biscuits and gravy. We also got a side of potatoes. Our mains were fantastic. The biscuits and gravy could've been warmer but I know it's very hard to keep that dish at the appropriate temperature. The short rib was cooked and seasoned perfectly! The home fries were unfortunately undercooked. We contemplated not telling the waiter about it but given brunch is a new offering and they are still working out the kinks, we decided to let the waitstaff know. The response was extremely polite, and the manager took the home fries off the bill. The service here was impeccable as always! I look forward to returning for brunch with friends and potentially taking advantage of their bottomless options.

What should've been an hour and a half dinner turned into an almost three hour dinner. We were a large party of 11 but we knew what we wanted and had to wait a very long time for our waitress to even order. Food took forever to come out. Then, after dinner, we waited a good half hour for cake. We were twiddling our thumbs and had to ask multiple times to bring out the cake. Food was great but not worth it for the mediocre service.

Tellers never fails to delight. The food and service are impeccable. I had the cowgirl ribeye with blackened seasoning, the bacon appetizer, and green beans with shishito peppers and tater tots for sides. My wife had the chopped salad. Everything was delicious, and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Even the cocktails are on point. Highest recommendation.

Tellers American Chophouse has a Power Lunch $29. You can add $10 for a Chardonnay or Red Blend. Didn't realize there was only 2 choices of $10 wine selection. I ordered Sauvignon Blanc. When bill arrived it was $17 per glass (Fernhook). We ordered the baked clams for appetizers. I had the chicken paillard and my friend ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Unfortunately, order was wrong. Spicy chicken sandwich was replaced with the Pastrami sandwich. I had to wait for the chicken paillard. Chicken was a little dry and needed seasoning. A lot of red onions in the salad. The Baked Clams were good but I remember them being much better in the past. The best part of the Power Lunch was sitting by the fireplace which was turned on. Today was 1st day Tellers put fireplace in use so I was very happy with our seating arrangement. Our server was pleasant and Kevin was training. Both very nice & friendly.

I haven't been back to Tellers since covid. It was okay last time but not great. This time: Teller's is back! We did the porterhouse for two, filet, and NY strip with blue cheese. Every steak was perfection. Sides: burnt broccoli was the table favorite! Desert - best Tiramisu I've had in a while, great cheesecake, and an huge ice dessert with whipped Baileys (I forgot the name). Literally everything was melt in your mouth perfect!!!

Teller's does all the right things. This is a classic steakhouse that knows what's good. The service is always on point and the food is always perfect. They are always busy - especially on the weekends, so absolutely make a reservation otherwise you will be waiting. This is the perfect place for a special occasion - because they sure are pricey. However, they're well worth the dough. Teller's is becoming our favorite birthday/anniversary spot because it's consistently wonderful!

We read a recent review where someone proclaimed the owner to be nasty & unfriendly (sure, I am paraphrasing). Those types of reviews are generally emotionally charged and written by plebs I find. More on that toward the end. Pulling up to a rather unassuming east end Long Island small shopping plaza drenched in rain; opening the door, you are taken back to a semi rustic and dim interior. Perfectly elegant in its bucolic charm- with nice lounge music playing. It is a sit where one likes atmosphere. This is meant with the utmost of respect and candour. We were greeted kindly by the proprietoress (Jacqueline), and handed pleasantly robust binders with the wine list and food. Deciding to treat this in the more European café type, we had glasses and charcuterie. I, the Sagrantino, and her the Kerner. Jacqueline was vocally pleased with our interesting choices. The night drew on, more wine ensued, more food, multiple conversations, and I completed reading through each page and wine choice...finding much to be recognised and appreciated (Kirwan, Moric, Georg Breuer to name but a few) At the end of the night, I asked Jacqueline to pick an appropriate nightcap. She not only delivered, but gave us a wonderful story including the provenance and her experiences - ultimately, the word genius came up more than once. To wit, there was nothing here but an exceptional experience with a like-minded wine enthusiast. I felt welcomed and in the frith of old kin. Nasty, belligerent, dullard atmosphere- indeed not. That's not necessarily a problem--businesses can host private events while remaining open to other guests. The problem was that when I needed to use the restroom, I was told I had to wait until the private event was over because the restrooms were reserved for event guests. If that's the policy, then why are you accepting reservations for other patrons at the same time? Basic amenities like restroom access shouldn't be unavailable to paying customers. It's completely unreasonable to invite guests onto your property, take their reservation, and then tell them they can't use the restroom. The whole situation felt poorly planned and incredibly inconsiderate. If a private event prevents you from providing normal accommodations to other guests, then either don't accept additional reservations or make alternative arrangements. This was a frustrating experience and not one I would choose to repeat.
