It was too hot to walk around today, 104 degrees. So i just took a few pics and went on in!

I love this place! It has every thing in one location. Ball Parks, Hiking trails, Equestrian trails, an Aquatic Center, a Gym to work out at. It's like a Super YMCA! But this place is always clean and the staff here is polite and helpful. Plenty of families are out here all the time. I have been several times but never took out the time to add this place to Yelp. If you are interested just go to the website or give them a call.

I started going here with a friend to checkout the water aerobics classes and fell in love with the place.

I was looking for a reliable place to swim and work out since I'll be in this area regularly. This place is not it. I called ahead specifically to ask about swimming, and at no point was I told the pool would be unavailable. When I arrived, the pool was completely taken over by a swim class, making lap swimming impossible. That kind of poor communication is unacceptable and shows a lack of basic consideration for patrons' time. The weight room was just as bad. Multiple benches had visible sweat stains, making it obvious the equipment had not been wiped down after previous use. In a fitness facility, basic cleanliness isn't optional, it's the bare minimum. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy. Not "a little messy," but dirty enough to make you question how often they're cleaned at all. Between the unsanitary conditions and the disorganization, the entire facility felt neglected. I was hoping to find a dependable gym for future business trips, but this was a one and done visit for me. If you care about cleanliness, clear communication, or a professional environment, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This facility needs serious improvements before it should be charging people to use it.

What a beautiful day, couldn't ask for a better one. Off to my monthly golf group. This time we…read moreplayed in Douglasville GA. Reception and club house was great they welcomed us and told us that range balls were free. The pro shop had some attire and clubs but could use some updating of said items. Driving range was good I think they forgot to move the ropes which revealed some worn grass. It was easy to hit. S there was a pitching area that helps get the flow of your game prior to the tee off. Only gripe I have about this was that you had to pass the first tee box to get the the practice range. Kind of distracting if you are ready to start your round. Putting green closer to the club house, very challenging greens which was curvaceous as can be. The course was good. I mean I am not going to be picky but there were some challenging holes especially in the back nine where water came into play more frequently and the slopes were more severe. I really enjoyed playing there and I feel in my honest opinion. That it needs to be brushed up. Tees boxes were in rough shape some of the fairways were off color. Hole #15 Short par four, there yellow mowed bands streaking in the middle. Some of the edges were very wet, coming off a four day rainy week which stopped on weds. My favorite part were the greens. They were challenging to say the least but fun to hit I was thrown off by some because the first three played very fast and then fourth hole proved to be thick as mud. As the day wore on they were all over the place. Kind of hard if you want to be competitive. One thing I appreciated were the views. Nice layout, the houses all around were beautiful. Nature, at its finest. When we closed off the tournament were went back to the clubhouse for dinner. They were able to remain open for us until 630. I really appreciated that and it is because the service and generosity of their time. We confirmed another tournament with Chapel Hill in July. Thank you~

Even with the Cart Path only rule for the day. Cory; the Pro Shop Attendant and the Manager (Especially ) really took care of our threesome crew (very Cordial and Understanding STAFF). The Practise Greens are a true representation of the Conditions of the Greens on all 18 Holes. Fast, Clean and smooth. A couple of Challenging shot shaping holes. The Number One Hole is a 1 Handicap indeed. Not sure if its because proper warm up is required or its just a long par 4. but it caused some damage to the score card. Cons Most of the greens sit in front of a wood Line. A long Shot missing the Green is a lost ball . A Fair amount of holes are lined with Bunkers at the Back of the green . Overall, Its a good course to beat, after 3 serious rounds.

No one picked up the phone the few times I tried them and I wasn't even 100% sure they were still in operation. They ARE OPEN and it's a pretty cool place! Browns Mill, like all of the summer water facilities around Atlanta it seems, is run 100% by teenagers. There are advantages (cheap labor) and disadvantages to this (lack of professionalism, lack of consistency on policy; such as letting us in for free after first saying there was no entry at 6:00 when it closes at 7 and then actually closing at 6:45), and general chaos on a busy summer day. Lots of teens running around may or may not be a problem depending on who you are. Why are kids always vomiting in pools? I've seen this at four different facilities this summer and it happened not once, but twice at this pool yesterday. Just lean over and do it in the grass. I suppose it's not fair to evaluate to how often kids are (or are not) vomiting at an aquatic facility but it did mean we didn't get to try some of the main features of this park. It would have been nice if they also put up a sign about not using this sections as we arrived after the first vomiting incident and we only knew not to go in because others were avoiding it but didn't see any visible grossness. My two little ones liked the small lazy river and layout of the place. The pool looked fun but you have to pass a swim test to go to the deep end and this test changed depending on which life guard you asked. Even going in with your kids they just aren't allowed there. They also have a small kiddie pool section and a splash pad section. The two big slides looked fun as well as the kid's water playground. I would make this trip again and even at $7 (advertised local dekalb county residents price) I think it'd be worth the cool down on a hot summer's day.
