Moved 2 weeks. Advised them we were in a 3300 sq foot home to be moved about an hour away and we had heavy furniture and about 40 boxes. Only sent 2 movers and on the small side. They only made one delivery and forgot their Dollie's so sat at the new home for 4 hours waiting on us to clean everything out of the old house along with bringing our pets Originally quoted 1200 plus change. After they spoke with the manager went up to almost 2,000. I called a couple of days later and he said we would split the difference. Thinking he would send half the 2,000 back. Received a ck for 363.76 today. Also, one of the movers texted me over a 2 day period. Sorry. 353.76. Go figure. Had to pay for 2 extra hours instead of 4. Seriously ??!!!!??? Also, they left all the boxes in the dining room after asking and my husband let them. We are still in a mess with boxes labeled basement, master, etc.... In all the wrong places. Haven't met the realtor know yet but left a vm by accident with a different moving company. They called back and said Boundless moving is a horrible service and has had a lot of complaints. So we paid 1,600 plus for one truck load and a bunch of boxes in our dining room. I felt bad for the movers and went to get them food and water. read more

First they show up on the wrong day. Then on the actual move date the first team, of two teams, showed up 1 hour late and the second team 2 hours late. I asked them specifically to not damage my brand new fridge and they put several dents in it. They also dented my freezer. At 10 o'clock that night they decided to stop for the night and come back the next day. They left with our bed and half a truck full of our stuff. The empty truck drove through our yard. Before they left that night they decided, without informing us, to put all our household items in a storage shed instead of bringing them in to the house. They did take 4 hours off of their total bill. I filed a claim and received a check for $300 because they only pay out .60 cents per pound for damage. It is going to be $900 to replace the doors on my brand new refrigerator. I would never recommend them. read more

Even though Matt came to the house and took pictures before providing the quote, when questioned about the price increase, Matt stated, "Your situation was difficult with the driveway access issues and long carry around the house. Couple that with the fact much of the inventory couldn't be stacked on in the smaller trucks (wood, etc), it made the job take longer than expected." He should have factored that in prior to providing a quote. read more

Co-Owner/ operator Matt Carlson is a very low down & absolutely greedy money hungry individual along with wife heather Carlson. Whom only care about their money do not have any interest whatsoever for anyone other than their own personal financial interests. They operate on a bare minimum budget to be able pocket as much money as possible that isn't going back to the business I have worked for him for almost 3 going onto 4 years now. I have been put into multiple situations with them putting me in company truck with engine lights one and broken seats or side mirrors on the truck they have even truck broken down on the job. When it breaks or becomes a problem for the company they make the driver responsible and make them pay out their pocket or check for damages or they will fired on the spot more then likely they wit keep your check for they pay period. Personally I have recorded as much a $4k being tooken from my check from the past 3 months it is probably more then that now I have start to keep up with drive times and when truck has been left at the shop. i have witnessed it several times where Matt Carlson has took hard earned money from his employees for pay back damages from trucks that he will not fix or cut their hours & pay without them knowing to get money to repay what was spend on the truck. Now I am being at blame for a truck door latch that had broke on my way to my unload that Matt Carson sent to do 3 hours away in Kentucky paint lick Kentucky with a box truck with broken door latch that fell completely off on my way to the job while stopping to get gas and I was told to crank strap the door to the seat to be able to get home so the door will be able to close shut or wait for an mechanic to be able to come fix it . Hiring Boundless moving & storage to move and store your house hold items are at very high risk of damages or not being able to make the delivery on time as they have promised due to trucks not being kept up to date with qualifying for on road standards & inspections to having holes in the roofs and floors of box trucks which comes w up charge for the over night storage Matt Carlson does not care about how his employees or their safety, customers household items. His only concern is him getting paid for the job and services provided no matter the conditions. read more

The moving team came out moved everything into storage units at Boundless, which by the way are very clean, climate controlled, security coded entry & have cameras. One week later moved me into new home. So, I have had a great experience with Boundless. Matt or Lisa have always returned my calls same day & the movers are very professional & fast. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. I received awful customer service when I called to voice my concerns about our unfinished move. After MANY unreturned calls and unresolved issues, I had to call my husband home from an Army Station 4 hours away to help me finish the move. Lack of communication on the day of the move resulted in missed items left in the home AND a mess of packing supplies left spread about by the movers. The movers themselves were very personable but missed KEY instructions about the move. I thought I was going to be taken care of since I was left to finish the move by myself but ended up with a ton of work to do that I couldn't accomplish by myself. I hired a packing and moving service for a reason and paid a HEFTY price for it but was left hanging high and dry. I would not recommend this company to anyone who is depending on a service to deliver what they say. read more

Mike, Jason, Cody, Corey and William took the time to make sure all of our special items were extra protected, wrapping carefully and delivering slowly and methodically. We used Boundless Moving when we moved from Cleveland, TN to Knoxville. We sought estimates from two other companies. Boundless Moving was the only company that gave us a detailed estimate of the cost of the move. The other companies made "estimates" that were open ended and not firm in the price quoted. We packed most of the small stuff ourselves. The movers for Bondless were happy to pack the rest and did a great job packing what we had not finished. They packed the small stuff in boxes they provided and wrapped the big pieces in plastic to keep drawers and doors closed. I am certain that they used many more boxes than they estimated but did not charge any additional for the extra supplies used or the extra labor/time to do the packing. Moving regulations and their insurance prohibited them from moving about ten very large potted plants. We rented a UHaul truck to carry the plants. Men from Boundless Moving loaded the plants on our rented truck and loaded a large number of boxes on the rental truck as well. The movers from Boundless were going to unload the boxes and plants when they came with their trucks the next day. However, friends in Knoxville came early and unloaded the Uhaul truck before they arrived. Both the loading and unloading were complicated by driveways that did not allow their large trucks direct access to our homes. The movers worked around these difficulties efficiently. One piece of furniture was broken in the move. Boundless had it repaired at no cost to us and it is as good as new. We were charged exactly the amount quoted upon completion of the move. As I said earlier, I feel they used more supplies and packed more small stuff in boxes than were quoted in the original estimate. Yet they did not charge extra for either item. We are very happy with this move and recommend them highly. read more

You need to get a quote up front as my final bill was outrageous. I am sure they are fine for small home moves , but my move was " out of their league" as they had to rent trucks and then charged me for 3 weeks worth of " truck rental" while they stored my things in the trucks - was not up front with this. Do to the size of the move they had to " fit me in over several weeks" as they were too busy to do consecutive days - which is where the " storage and truck rental costs accumulated. They lost pictures and a large bird house - I provided them with photos of what they lost - denied covering it as " they needed receipts. All of their staff were friendly - just disappointed in management - would have been cheaper to move across country using another company than across town with Boundless. read more

I couldn't recommend this moving company more highly. We used Boundless Moving & Storage to move from Chattanooga to the Dunlap area a month ago and they were absolutely perfect. They wrapped every little thing with care, worked efficiently, and were pleasant to do business with. I compared several local companies' prices and Boundless was most reasonable, as well as having the most professional manner of all. They took extreme care with antiques, heavy buffet, dining table, crystal, etc. They returned the day after the move to help us right a brand new King sized bed support system (it collapsed), which well may not have been their responsibility, took it to a shop, mended it, and reinstalled. This was one of those very gray areas that they could easily have washed their hands of, but they really cared for our utmost satisfaction and gladly worked on it for us. Unbelievable service.
