We were surprised that there was a way to check in for a table on the yelp app, but unfortunately didn't realize it until we were five minutes away. For a party of ten on a Wednesday night, we waited around one and a half hours. We were sat inside- we enjoyed the live music they had going on. Our server Richard was fantastic. One of my biggest pet peeves is having an empty drink cup. There wasn't a time throughout the night this happened. He checked on us multiple times, and was overall great at his job. The food was also fantastic. Would highly recommend the gumbo for everyone. It had a nice kick to it, but not super overpowering. I had the chicken fried chicken for my main. Tons of food for the price. The fries were crispy and had a nice seasoning on them. The chicken had a nice crunch, and the gravy was a nice addition. Overall, great vibes, great service, great food. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Would recommend signing up for the wait list earlier than later as wait times could be long (but totally worth the wait).

The inside reminds me of a little Americanized French cafe on the water. There are plenty of options to choose from and the portions are huge! My husband got a house salad to start and a shrimp platter for his entree. The shrimp was delicious and not too greasy. He would have preferred the salad as a side and will do that next time. I got the Étouffée with shrimp, sausage and chicken - it was delicious. The side of French bread was super fluffy as well; it tasted like their croutons were made from the same bread. The service was stellar! Our server didn't push us to order and gave us the opportunity to ask questions. She waited on our whole section and was always thoughtful and let tables know when she'd be asking them to wait a few minutes while she served another table. We'll definitely be back!

My neice had the chicken sandwich with fries. My sister had the charbroiled red fish with shrimp and lemon sauce. I had the shrimp skewers with lemon caper butter sauce and red beans and rice! Sooo good! The service was amazing, Hayden took really good care of us at the bar! Oh we also had the baked oysters and the blood orange margaritas and the Dee Ablo margaritas! Great food! Great atmosphere! I would def go back!

Both times I've been there we've sat at tables and watched from afar. It's a very laid back place. Friendly staff! We got oysters of course for an appetizer. They were really good. It was a variety which isn't on the menu but if you want try different flavors it's the way to go. So I ordered water at first then decided to get a beverage when the server came for our order. We had had to ask about it... it came at the same time as the food. Which is my fault but still. I had to remind her I ordered it. And it was ok. Strawberry daiquiri. I'll order something different next time. The food was really good. I got shrimp and scallops broiled with fried okra and cheese grits. Not a fan of the cheese grits but the okra was great. The shrimp and scallops were really good too. Hubs got broiled shrimp and fried oysters with okra and corn on the cob. He liked it all. Daughter got fried clams which were delicious! She also got corn on the cob and fried okra. Also all meals come with hush puppies. Over all a good experience.

We ate outside on the deck. Started with cup shrimp etoufee - scoop of piping hot white rice covered with a nice New Orleans sauce. Shrimp were plentiful and tender. I could have eaten a pail of it. Maybe some other day. We wanted to try a couple of sandwiches knowing that we would taking some leftovers home for dinner.. Started with the shrimp poor boy - the small one, cut in half. It was loaded with lightly battered shrimp, lettuce and tomato on a superb crusty bun. Sandwich looked good and tasted even better. It wasn't inexpensive but it had great value for the money. We also tried the mufalata sandwich. Again, the small one. It was a monster. Cut in 4, it still was huge. Seasoned ham sliced super thin with cheese on a fantastic crusty roll. There might have been a couple of other meats on the sandwich. It was too good to dissect for details. The olive dressing was excellent, I would have liked more of it on the sandwich. This sandwich was again very pricey, but had good value. Our food was brought to us by a friendly young man who was very good at sharing the details of the menu. Sadly, we didn't try the beignets.. Super dooper highly recommend without any reservations. Would eat there weekly if we lived in the area. Need to try the gumbo and jambalaya.

It was good with plenty of quality ham and olive tapenade. However, it lacked Mortadella and the proper Emmental-provolone cheese blend, feeling more like a ham and cheese sandwich with a little salami, than the cohesive, harmonious Muffulettas from NOLA. It was solid but not the same. Next time I think I'll give one of the Po-boys sandwiches a try.
