Lechón (Pork) rice & back beans
    Vivi B.

Second time ordering food from Havana nights. I was craving Cuban food & wasn't in the mood to cook so I had Uber eats delivered. Authentic Cuban food. I had lechón asado & arroz con frijoles negro. (Pork, white rice and black beans) the pork was very tender and the mojo flavoring was perfect. They even served it with a couple pieces of the crispy skin!! I've also had their Cuban coffee and it's fantastic. Staff is very welcoming, it reminds me of being back in Miami. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. Only negative when I ordered on Uber eats I ordered red beans and I got black beans. Maybe they ran out... thankfully they were delicious but maybe a call or a note would of be nice.

Wanted to add one more note to this exceptional restaurant! (I keep going back for more and in fact have sent three wonderful couples there for date nights!) it is to mention the treats!!! There is nothing I love more than a good coconut cake or tres leche! Well they have them both! I forgot to ask if they were made on site but it was so good I have to assume yes! Add dessert for later, you won't regret it!

10/10 I recommend this place so much. We went last year and decided to go again this year and the food, environment, service never disappoints. The young lady who attended us today is such a sweetheart. The food is spectacular alongside the desserts. I haven't tried Cuban food before this restaurant and this place always eats. I recommend the oxtail and all of the rices. Inside is such a great atmosphere. We love this place!!

    Baked chicken, rice and tostones

Do not recommend. Maybeeeee it was just a bad night for them. But doubt I'll give it another try. The tostones were inedible!!! I took a bite of two different ones; thinking maybe just that one is bad... nope. Both were terrible. The rice was over cooked/dry. The chicken was okay- but not special. I had to cover the food in hot sauce just to eat it. The server behind the counter was nice. However, not really helpful when asking what the best dishes are. Just said whatever you prefer. But I assume he eats the food there, and I love personal recommendations. Hindsight, that wasn't a good sign and I should have left. Also - BRING CASH, or at least be aware they CHARGE a fee to use a CC. And while I know that's not a huge deal, it would have been nice to know. I had cash, and would have gladly used it had he informed me he was going to charge me extra. Unfortunately for him, that CC fee was the tip I was planning to give him. I let him know he should notify customers, and he said he thought every place that accepted CC's charged a fee. He's either a liar, or he doesn't go to restaurants or a grocery store or any other facility that accepts a CC. ***Again, I understand if you cannot cover those fees and need to charge, but warn a customer and give them the opportunity to pay another way to avoid the unnecessary fees.*** I would not recommend this place. Not for the food or the customer service.

    Ropa Vieja Congris

I was at the gas station one night and seen they were open and stopped in and i was not disappointed! Very delicious and flavorful food! It's served mostly cafeteria style aside from the Cubans and empanadas. Plates come with one meat two sides I usually get the ropa veja with congris and sweet plantains but every thing i have tried here has been great. The empanadas really tasty and they also have a beautiful desert selection. Don't miss out and over look this spot definitely give it a try!

I have eaten ate Havana Nights 5 times now. I grew up in the Key West/Miami area and have been enjoying Cuban cuisine for decades. I have ordered 3 different entrees through my visits. Ropa Vieja, picadillo and a traditional Cuban sandwich. The Ropa Vieja is outstanding. I highly recommend it. I have had the picadillo twice, it's okay. It lacks some flavor and for ground beef is chunky, needs to be ground up more. Their Cuban is good and could be the best in PC, but I've only had it once. Their sides are good, mixed beans and rice, white rice and black beans, yucca, plantains have been very good. I still haven't picked up a a cafe con leche yet. The restaurant has seating is decent. The staff is friendly. Again, I grew up on this food eating it daily from home cooked meals, mom and pop shops and nice restaurants in south Florida. I will continue to go to Havana Nights and recommend them!

The food was wonderful and the service was great!! You can tell that locals eat here because it was busy and we came on a Monday at lunch. Definitely check them out! I had chicharrones and yucca with mojo. My husband had ropa vieja with congri and tostones. Plus they were playing great music!

FINALLY!!! Real Deal Cuban restaurant in PC! This Tampa girl has seriously missed her Cuban food. Havana Night is right at the turn off from 231 onto 23rd St. (just before IHOP). Do yourself a flavor favor and check them out!

Delicious!!! On vacation we wanted cubano and boy did we find it. This unassuming restaurant in a chevron parking lot was some of the best food we had in Florida. My group ordered the following Ropa Vieja Rabo Encendido Picadillo Cubano All delicious!

    Churros

DO NOT RECOMMEND While the restaurant's menu promised a variety of tasty options, we were really disappointed when we discovered that many of the items that we wanted were not available. For example, they didn't had any type of soup, spaghetti or pizza (even tho it was on the menu). We also wanted to try some tequeños but we found a box of frozen Goya tequeños in the back while waiting so we decided to pass on that. I wanted to get some churros and we had to wait 30 minutes for that even tho we were the only ones there ($5 for an order of 4). When we finally got our order of churros they were cold and rock solid which tells me that they forgot about us. I won't be coming back.

Was visiting the area & wanted something different. Havana Night is next to a gas station but don't let that stop you. Most dishes are on a line right in front of you so you don't wait at all. I got oxtail with black rice & sweet plantains. With a handmade mango juice, it was $23 but there is enough food for 2-3 people! It's super fresh & yummy. The best black rice I've ever had!

    Cuban sandwich and fries

Visiting Panama City for work and came across this Cuban place with great reviews. I had the medium size Cuban sandwich and couldn't even finish half of it because it was still so much food! Flavor was great and the fries were good as well. Would go back.

The Cuban sandwich was just phenomenally delicious. The pernil was well received by everyone too. The ropa vieja was great too. To be fair, there were no losing meals at that table. We could have all switched plates and enjoyed something delicious. This food is well flavored, but not spicy. That's not a flaw. That's just how the food is.

Despite having two employees standing at the front talking behind the register, the restroom had no toilet paper. When we placed our order, we were told they were out of yucca balls and that they also had no beer available. We ordered a tripleta, beef patties, and juice instead. What was most frustrating was that the customer who ordered immediately after us was able to order and receive yucca balls. We asked about the discrepancy, and the explanation we were given was that she had ordered them earlier. However, we clearly heard her place the order while standing there. A simple, honest response--such as acknowledging that there had been a misunderstanding and apologizing for serving the last order to another customer--would have gone a long way. Instead, the interaction left us feeling singled out and, honestly, racially profiled because the other customer was Hispanic. Ironically, we are Hispanic as well, which made the situation even more disappointing. To top it off, the "tripleta" sandwich was not an authentic tripleta. If the chef wants to call it a traditional tripleta, it should follow the classic preparation and the meats that make a tripleta what it is. Otherwise, it would be better to rename the sandwich rather than market it as a traditional tripleta. Anyone from Puerto Rico--or anyone who has enjoyed authentic tripletas at Puerto Rican restaurants--will immediately notice the difference and likely be disappointed. The sandwich would also benefit greatly from properly seasoning both the pork and the steak. Adding the traditional mayo-ketchup sauce would go a long way toward delivering the authentic flavor people expect from a tripleta. The beef empanadas made the one star in this review since they were decently stuffed. Just need to work better on the wrapping. I posted a pic. But at least they were made and not bought frozen. I understand that mistakes happen, but honesty, consistency, authenticity, and good customer service are what determine whether customers return. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations.

Unfortunately, the experience was a huge disappointment from start to finish. Even though they weren't that busy, the wait was unusually long. The service felt disorganized and indifferent, and customer service was frankly terrible. Our order wasn't made correctly, and when we asked about it, it turned into an ordeal that caused an even longer delay. The food itself was bland and far from the rich, flavorful Cuban food I grew up on. The croquettes were clearly frozen and had zero taste, and even the lemonade was watery and flavorless. Nothing had the seasoning or soul that Cuban food is known for. On top of that, the truck's menu is misleading--they don't even use the one printed on the truck. Instead, there's a random paper menu taped to the window. And don't dare pay with cash unless you want to stand there for 10 minutes while they figure out how to give you change. The worst part? The owner seemed miserable and completely disengaged, like they had no passion for the food or the business. That lack of care shows in every part of the experience.
