It has been a long time since I encountered a business whose mission is based on transparency, helpfulness, honesty, and quality service. I hired this company to snake my bathroom drain. Upon close inspection, Jose let me know I didn't need this service. He explained why I didn't need it and showed me as well. He was so humble and polite (he put in booties over his shoes when he entered my home without me having to ask him). There was no way I was going to let a gem like Jose leave my house without his wise opinion in other plumbing matters. When I attempted to remove the old one, it was so rusted and outdated that it snapped off and the remaining piece was stuck inside the pipe in the wall. Definitely not something I could fix myself. Steven answered the phone and was very helpful right away. He took down my information and was able to fit me in the same day, which was a huge relief. They gave me a service window between 10-12, and my technician Miguel arrived around 10:30, just before 11. Miguel was incredibly kind and reassuring from the moment he walked in. He immediately assessed the situation and let me know he'd be able to take care of it. Sure enough, he had the broken piece removed and everything fixed in less than 20 minutes. The Situation: At 6:30 AM, a neighbor awoke us by frantically ringing the doorbell. In our front yard, gallons of water were racing from a tree, across the sidewalk, and down the curb line. I called CVWD in a panic, and they sent someone (Carlos) out within, I'd say, half an hour of my call. Now comes the fun part (yeah, right): calling a plumber. The water was off, my granddaughter was due to arrive that afternoon, and we were in full panic mode. I called several plumbers as far as 30 miles away, trying to get anyone to come out. But here's the trick: if you manage to get someone to answer the phone, he wants a fee just to give an estimate--and he'll come out when he can (talk about arrogance). Others wanted to pencil us in for a day or two. Only one company recognized the urgency and made an effort to help: Bow Tie Plumbing & Rooter. They had a two‑man crew out within an hour. After explaining to the dispatcher to the Plumber on the phone that a foreign object was lodged in the main drain he proceeded to charge me $225 for a camera. Which was fine, Will the plumber knowing that he had no means of extract the foreign object decided to use a camera anyways. He stated he didn't want to be responsible for pushing the object further down the line which made no sense because his suggestion was to bust up the concrete dig it up cut the pipe and remove the four object so why does it matter where it was?. top it off he didn't want to even try it remove it. Basic strong arm tactics because the estimate was $4200. What a waste of time to pay somebody for something you're already know the issue. . Again no such thing as a free estimate.! read more

Plumber fixed a leak inside my bathroom wall. Though it took 4 days to complete (unnecessary) overall it was done well. But then I asked them to look at another issue, under my kitchen. The plumber got his camera stuck inside the drainage hole trying to find the problem, &. Apparently this was my financial responsibility. The company charged me to jack hammer into my concrete to get their camera out stating it's because I had a broken pipe & the camera got stuck on my existing broken pipe, sooo, it's not that the plumber Forced his camera in, its that my pipe was broken? therefore i was charged for the jack hammering , I was also left with a torn up back patio, I'm responsible for AND i was charged an additional $100** to use my credit card. I Went with another company that didn't charge Anything to use credit card. Also quoted me allot less for kitchen issue. read more
