We just moved into our new house yesterday and something wasn't working with the gas. So we had no hot water, no heat, no oven or stove and no dryer to use. For reference, yes I transferred it so it wasn't shut off. I called Trinity at 8am to see if they could come take a look. They said they had an appointment between 4-6. So I booked it. Got a call at 11:30 saying they could come sooner in the next hour so I was even more excited. Jose was so nice. He looked at the gas meter and said the earthquake safety had been tripped. I called Trinity Plumbing for a leaking rusted drain pipe in our kitchen, Jose from Trinity Plumbing answered and came out later the same day to assess the situation. Jose came out and did a thorough inspection of our homes steel drain pipe system using a camera. Upon inspection he found the steel drain pipe underneath the concrete slab foundation of the house had completely rusted out and the pipe bottom was completely missing in some portions. Jose was very upfront and honest about his findings and showed us the camera imagery as he was looking. What I was originally hoping was going to be a small problem ended up revealing a hidden slowly evolving problem under the foundation of the 1965 home. Jose explained all of our options and didn't seem to try and persuade us any direction, he simply showed us the problem and evidence of the problem and explained what our options were. He went into great detail of each of the options and what the procedure would be. Ultimately we ended up replacing the problematic section of pipe which was the most costly but the best solution due to the extent the pipe was damaged. This was a major plumbing job where the concrete foundation of the house was cut/broken up in some spots, a trench was dug and a new replacement pipe was installed. I did a fair bit of research into this job and Trinity Plumbing before moving forward given the extent of the work to be done. I've hired bad contractors before and there's nothing worse than having to babysit or redo bad work. Jose gave me a lot of confidence with his very detailed explanations and description of the work to be done. He answered all questions and cut no corners. This was a large job and took several days with several guys working on it, the entire time Jose was ensuring the job was done right and no corners were cut. He checked in regularly to show progress of the work and answered all my questions thoroughly. Jose showed the rusted out damaged sections of pipe he cut out from underground. He followed the entire project through from the beginning of breaking up the slab foundation all the way until the new pipe was installed and the trench was backfilled with new concrete poured to repair the slab foundation. I feel very confident in the work and would highly recommend Trinity Plumbing to anyone looking for an honest plumber with high quality work.
