They work with you and they ask questions. They don't overwork the injury and if an exercise hurts they will they alter the exercise so you aren't in pain like some other places. I feel safe when I go there.

However, the administrative side of this office was extremely disorganized and stressful. The receptionist repeatedly failed to call me back to schedule appointments, which resulted in several weeks going by without being seen. For physical therapy, consistency matters, so this was very disappointing. I also later received a bill for copays that I was never informed about ahead of time. I originally started treatment with an approved number of sessions through my insurance, but once the new year began I was suddenly being charged copays even though my authorized sessions had not expired. No one explained the insurance change or warned me that my costs would change. What upset me most was my interaction with Terri in the billing office. Instead of calmly explaining the situation, she was yelling at me on the phone and demanding payment. It felt extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. Overall, the therapy itself was okay, but the poor communication, scheduling issues, surprise billing, and rude billing office experience made this a place I would not return to.

Also staff is great at squeezing patients in when there's cancellations so I'm always on call standby and they are great at remembering if you have time slot limitations, such as I work until 2pm so I can make any appointments after that.

I was assured I would have the guy who runs the clinic. When I arrived, I had my forest evaluation with a very young man, he was nice and thorough, but oh so young. When I got home I looked up the therapists on the website and didn't see him. At my next appointment, I asked him why he wasn't on there like everyone else. He said oh I'm just an unpaid student here for the summer. So much for being assured I'd get someone with experience with my situation. Super nice kid, so I went with it. Other than being annoyed that the guy I was told I'd have didn't even observe the evaluation. The kids that lead your exercises are just that, kids who'd rather socialize amongst each other than pay attention to you. I'd finish what I was told to do and sit there looking around to get one of them to tell me what was next. One day this lady and I sat up looking around at the same time and she looked at me like what the heck with the same frustration I had. The guy who runs the place, I think it was JJ, never once got his ass off his barstool the entire weeks I was there. I was done, went and paid cash for PT when my insurance paid 100% just to avoid this joke. I called the corporate office to let them know....and no surprise....no one called back.

I requested a transfer to this location in Oceanside as this is where i reside and wanted services close to my home. I have 4 herniated discs in the lumbar region and for the life of me I cannot get a therapist to provide hands on therapy for pressure point therapy to reduce the muscle spasms and to reduce the pain signals. Your treatment will include 10 minutes on a treadmill and various therapies to address your problem. You will not have a consistent person managing your care, and the exercises will be dependent on your pain status of the day. No consistent therapy as there's no consistent therapists.

Marla at the front desk was lazy unprofessional and unwilling to do her own job every 19 sessions when you're put here by the Veterans Administration your approval has to be renewed every time my approval want to be renewed as I came two I had to do all the legwork because she was unwilling and unable to contact their own home office to check to see what was going on with the approval. They even asked me why I was calling and not her. I had to tell them I did not know all I knew she was my problem, not hers this triggered response on her which into them not answering the phone so I can make I called from the lobby and Ignore the phone call through the glass door. I they were at lunch when the place was full and everyone was being worked on and the front simply said they're looking at the phone ring if you want I'll professional company to go to. I strongly recommend finding a different company as it is not in your and trust to go here for these reasons, I could never recommend Rancho Physical Therapy to anyone who takes their seriously in any way I would rather be put waiting list to continue doing business with does this tell you?
