Cannot say enough good things about Bower Bird --- argh where to begin?! We used Bowerbird and Eddie's incredible eye and vision for two nights of wedding events in the Columbia River Gorge. We originally engaged Bower Bird about doing potential draping and additional lighting from a large clear tent at the Griffin House (we ended up going with just additional lighting as the draping felt like a heavier look than we were going for). We loved knowing that we could rely on Eddie and the Bowerbird team to expertly plan and hang lights (and drape if we had wanted them in the tent) that complemented the existing infrastructure and created the exact vibe we were going for. But where the Bowerbird team really shown brightly was in helping us and our planner design and deliver a truly memorable setting for our Sangeet in our blended Indian-Western wedding. We had set out to provide a day of events, all in one place, at the Society Hot in Bingen, Washington. It was the perfect location for us to feel cozy and create community, and had a number of on site spaces for the various events. The Gymnasium was the most obvious spot for hosting our sangeet, but transforming it into a celebration space from another culture halfway across the world was no small task. Our planner and the folks at Bowerbird, especially Eddie, set to work collaborating, troubleshooting the space, and creating a VISION of a larger than life mix of drapery, color, and lighting - including finding ways yo add to the feeling of being transported, such as their idea to create a faux wall of drapery to hide the catering teams, activities, and their idea to add draping at the entrances to make it a truly step-into-this-new-place experience. Amid all of our changes and slight adjustments, and even new ideas only a month before the wedding, Eddie worked with us and our planner to come up with a gameplan that fit into our budget and would still deliver the kind of magical vibes and ambience that we were searching for. Eddie and his team executed flawlessly, and they even untangled and expertly hung literally hundreds and hundreds of feet of homemade faux flower garlands that we had brought in to supplement the decor. All of our guests, including my husband's parents and family visiting from India, were stunned with the transformation and couldn't stop complimenting what a lovely ambience the Bowerbird team created. In short, the Bowerbird team delivered the most epic transformation, and we would absolutely partner with, collaborate with, and trust them again. Eddie was amazing to work with and extremely professional throughout. He offered beautiful drapery for our venue at a reasonable price. I am so glad I found his services, otherwise my wedding day would not have looked as beautiful as he made it. He showed up to the venue early and set everything up before our guests arrived! Eddie and his event staff were awesome! Very responsive and so easy to work with. We hired them to do uplighting and ceiling draping for my wedding. They were very accommodating to our schedule and budget, working with our venue to set up the day before so we could do a full rehearsal with everything already up, which was amazing. We didn't have any problems with the lighting the day of either, and at the end of the night Eddie and his staff were there to clean up their equipment and were very polite. He was reasonably priced, personable, cared about his customers, and so wonderful. We had imagined something beautiful and elegant, although didn't expect it to be half as pretty as we expected because we thought it wasn't possible (that it was just something out of a fairy tale).
