They offered the open air photobooth like I wanted, on site prints and an attendant. I'm so happy that I chose to go with Scarlet's photobooth company. The attendant showed up very early, was SUPER nice, and he also helped me chose the perfect spot for the photobooth. All of the guests for my party had sooooo much fun with the photobooth. I hired Scarlet's photobooth for an my parents' wedding anniversary party, and I feel really lucky we found them. The guests had a ton of fun taking photos, and my parents now have easy access to high quality images of all their friends enjoying themselves at the party. These guys delivered, and then some - Carlos and co. were responsive and flexible throughout the booking process, showed up early for setup, left late, endured little kids running around whacking things with lightsabers, and overall were super easy to work with. They were ok. This is my second photo booth rental, and probably my 10th or so as a user. 1. They were late. There wasn't traffic, and even if there was, you account for it. 2. They didn't do any sort of last-call 3. I had two individuals at my event, and both were very nice, but very introverted and quiet. It was odd for photo booth hosts. One was new, so I could understand the training piece 4. I asked if they could take one group picture with their nice equipment, and they instead offered to take it with my iphone. Not exactly the response I'd expect, considering they were late. 5. I feel I had to lead them into a good card design. the original was very basic and unappealing. We had a few back and forth and the final product was GREAT! I had to take a lot of responsibility in moving this along. I received the gallery after just a few days, which was a plus. Their equipment was great, and the program they use was enjoyed by the guests. I did want to give 3 stars, but Yelp has that as "A-ok" and 2 stars is described as "meh" so I'm going with the latter. read more

I was the day-of wedding coordinator where Carlos provided his photo booth service. I was so impressed with Carlos even before we got to the wedding day. He was easy to communicate with via email, text and phone. He listened to details that were important and took note to every single one of them! There were a number of moving parts with this wedding, and Carlos was on top of it with his photo booth service. He provided two set-ups for this wedding and everyone loved it!! Guests had the best time using his open-air booth with fun props. His props weren't cliche or annoying, they were tasteful and fun! I know the bride and groom loved it too! Scarlet's Photo Booth just did my wedding a few weeks ago and they were great! They were all set up and ready to go by the time the reception started. The photo strips look awesome, and the online photo album is so fun to look at. Their prices were great (half of what I got quoted from practically every other place in Portland), and I asked them to stick around an extra hour because it took people a while to get into it and they did it no problem. I would definitely recommend them, and in general I would recommend doing a photo booth at your wedding if you're considering it- it was so much fun! read more

We had a great experience working with Scarlet's Photo Booth! We booked them for our wedding day as a fun activity for our guests to do during cocktail hour. The pictures turned out great (good quality photos!) and the photo strips were personalized for our event. Each of our guests got a printed photo strip and their pictures texted to them after using the booth. After the wedding, Carlos sent us the link to the gallery, and my husband and I had such a fun time looking through all of our guests' photos! My class wanted to have a photobooth for our graduation party. Previously, a student at our school bought a Groupon for Scarlet Photobooth for an event, the event got cancelled, and the student never used Scarlet's services. Even though the Groupon was expired, Scarlet Photo Booth gave us a reduced cost to honor the Groupon when they had no incentive to - this was very generous of them. I talked to the members at Scarlet Photo Booth several times over the phone about the event and all communications were very cordial and considerate. They were able to achieve our photostrip design, provided fun props, and were a very nice addition to the evening. They set up and were on time for the times we requested, were professional but friendly, provided 2 copies per strip at the event and a full gallery online after. I hired Scarlet's Photo Booth for my college graduation party and they were AMAZING. They were so helpful and considerate the entire time. The photos turned out great. I forgot to decide on a backdrop so they brought my top choices for me to choose when they got there! Talk about above and beyond! I paid extra for a scrapbook and I am so glad I did because it was amazing to have my own copies of every single picture and my friends and family got to write in it as well. They even texted or emailed certain strips to my people if they asked for them! They offered to take more pictures around the room if I wanted it and everything. It was a major hit and people are still talking about it several weeks later! All the digital copies were then loaded to a page that was easy to download from, which was excellent for sharing on Facebook, much to the pleasure of my friends and family. They were on time, helped round up people that were reluctant to try it out and gave our party an extra festive and memorable flair. The costs are very fair and reasonable for what you get.
