Since moving to the area, I have visited Stars and Strikes four times, and each experience has been…read moreenjoyable. As someone who loves entertainment-packed venues, this place has quickly become one of my go-to spots for a fun night out. There are a few drawbacks, but overall, it offers a great experience for families, kids, and adults alike. One of my favorite features is the Spark VIP bowling lane, which adds a unique twist to traditional bowling. The cool virtual effects you can select make the experience more immersive and visually appealing. If you're looking for something beyond a standard bowling game, I highly recommend opting for this lane--it's worth it! One of the biggest highlights of Stars and Strikes is the sheer variety of entertainment options in one location. Aside from bowling, you can enjoy arcade games, play pool, watch TV, and just relax. It's the kind of place where you can easily spend hours without getting bored. The ambiance is lively and loud, which is expected in a setting like this, and they always play great music that adds to the fun atmosphere. However, I do have a couple of minor complaints. The drinks are expensive, which is a little disappointing given the casual, arcade-like setting. It would be great if they had better drink specials to make it more affordable. Additionally, the service can be a little slow, especially during peak hours. That said, I've noticed they are often extremely busy, so I now try to visit later in the evening when things are slightly less hectic. As for the food, I haven't personally tried it yet, but from what I've seen, it appears to be standard bar-style food, similar to what you'd find at other arcade and bowling venues. If you're looking for gourmet dining, this probably isn't the place, but for quick bites while having fun, it seems to fit the bill. One of the best aspects of this location is that parking is easy, which is always a plus when visiting an entertainment venue. The convenience of not having to circle around looking for a spot makes arriving stress-free. Considering that Columbus, GA doesn't have a ton of entertainment options, Stars and Strikes is definitely a solid choice for a night out. Despite the minor drawbacks, I'll continue to come back because it's one of the few places in town that offers a well-rounded entertainment experience. Whether you're with family, friends, or even on a date night, this place provides a fun, energetic atmosphere that keeps you entertained. If you haven't checked it out yet, it's definitely worth a visit!

Would not recommend anyone to go here, especially a child's birthday party.

Had a really fantastic time at Bytes and Brews during a recent visit to Columbus! For a totally…read morereasonable $10, you'll enjoy full access to all of their video and board games, and then you can order craft beer or cocktails along with legitimately good snacks to enjoy while you pass time with friends at one of their hightops or long tables. Our group of three retreated upstairs with sandwiches and chicken fingers, all of us happy with our selections. Highly recommend playing the mystery cocktail game (you roll a die to see which one's been waiting for you.) It's a lot of fun, but if you're a little pickier, just order off the menu and get something you know you'll enjoy. The staff is super friendly, and we were very happy with the service. We never had to wait long for anything. It's laid-back and casual, so a great place to hang with friends or for couples/groups looking for something new to do!

They now have only bar and booth seating downstairs and no games at all. They also only have tacos, a burrito and quesadillas. A few appetizers. The bar menu is various margaritas. The kids menu does have chicky tendies. All of the games are now upstairs and I think they added a pool table. I don't remember one before but I didn't used to go upstairs a lot since I only played pinball. There is also a bar upstairs and a few booths to sit at. They now have real utensils. Unfortunately they still use the metal trays. I never cared for them since they make the food get cold fast. I got one each of the street tacos. They only have flour tortillas. They offer chicken, barbacoa and steak. They also have a separate 3 count burria taco plate but I got one each of the standard. The barbacoa was spicy and juicy. Personally I didn't care for it, but that is just a personal preference and not anything against it. The chicken was good, a little bit on the dry side but not terrible and the toppings were good. The steak was my favorite. It was juicy and flavorful. I thought the prices were reasonable. I really appreciate them not trying to rip people off on the soda and charging $1.50. Although I don't know if that includes refills. I do think they need to offer chips and dip like every other Mexican restaurant in town. I recommend everyone giving them a try

It's significantly more expensive than Dave & Buster's, which offers much better value and promotions. Compounding this, many games are constantly broken or malfunctioning, which is unacceptable at these premium rates. Even buying credits is frustrating; the kiosks only highlight rigid options like $10 for 80 credits instead of displaying a full, transparent price list so families can budget effectively. Management should introduce half-price Wednesdays and a summer season pass to provide better value. The best part is definitely the workers--they are incredibly kind and accommodating to guests with vision loss. However, placing the best prizes, like the big colorful balls, exclusively inside visual claw machines excludes blind students. They waste money on games they can't equitably play. Thanks to the staff's sided help, I was able to get one, but these items should be redeemable via tickets at the counter so everyone has a fair shot. The great staff deserves a venue with a fairer, more accessible pricing model.
