I'm just getting back into bowling after a long break, and Bowlero Denton was the perfect place to get rolling again. It's got a more old-school bowling alley feel, which I loved--less arcade, more actual bowling. The lanes are in great shape, and the vibe is super chill. You can tell they really take care of the place. The staff is friendly and helpful all around. Even the pro shop, though it's small, has some really knowledgeable people who clearly know their stuff. They were super cool answering my questions without being pushy. Food was solid, and the bar makes some surprisingly great drinks--definitely worth checking out if you're there for a night out or league play. This has been me and my boyfriends go-to bowling place, and we both just recently got our own bowling ball and shoes so when I come in for the unlimited bowling I can really enjoy it all the more. The lanes are nice and they clean them every single shift, yes I've seen them do it because I always stay till closing on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The place is not usually over crowded on the days we usually decided to come and bowl. And after going back to University Lanes not to long ago, it really shows you what you're missing out on, which is nice lanes that aren't too close together, better seating, and super friendly staff who aren't trying to get you out the door 30 min before closing. I honestly feel so welcome when I walk in and pay. I'm always excited for my next visit. read more

After we had been waiting 45 minutes, I walked to the front desk to ask for a food was- And they hadn't even started it. It's incredibly grimey there. The district manager was there and everything still went awry. When we finally got our drinks, it's like they had filled them half full. Who is it afternoon as well, and there's hardly anyone there. We definitely had fun bowling and we got a deal where you get a discount on the third game as well as $5 on a game card after certain hours. The only thing that sucked was the lack of smaller bowling balls. The food and drinks are a bit pricey too and had to wait for a while for food to come out. I will give credit for cleanliness, but the pricing here is completely unreasonable and not affordable for middle class families. For a low tier bowling alley, the pricing needs to be adjusted. Our family of four (2 adults and children 3 and 8) went this past Saturday evening. We were one of 4 lanes occupied and the total cost for three shoe rentals and 2 games came to $76! Apparently the "premium" weekend is still in effect even when business is well below normal. Even at a premium time, the facilities don't correlate to the price. We thought this was a good idea to get out of the house and a break from quarantine, but with pricing this high we will not come back and certainly not recommend. read more

We really wanted to like this place- really- but overall it was just a mediocre experience. The bowling lanes are old school and overpriced, just like the food. Nachos were painfully salty and the pizza was overcooked and definitely from a freezer. Basic snack shop. Drinks were also overpriced and not good. However, the service was excellent. Every employee we saw or spoke to was friendly and professional. This is a bait and switch. The images online looked so nice, this is a run down bowling alley that smelled like smoke. They took my nearly $400 party money up front and promised fresh made food. When we arrived nothing looked like the pictures. The arcade was mostly out of order and nothing like online. They told me they had to go and buy some pizzas from the grocery store as part of our prepaid package included pizza. Nothing was set up when we got there. No tables. No lanes. No instagrammable moments like was advertised. They started unfolding dirty 6ft tables after our party time started. We said we weren't staying for our 13 year olds birthday party, and they told me too bad no refunds. DONT PREPAY FOR A PARTY HERE. Bring your Family & Friends Here! Call ahead and book your event/lanes. We had 6 people on the Super Bowl renting two lanes. Not busy at 5:00, but by 6:30, it was hopping. It was a blast. There was so much food! If you reserve, you get a hot dish server, which is nice. Good selection of beers including Dallas Blonde and Shiner. The wait staff was very helpful and came around to see if we needed anything. We didn't use the games in the back. Bowlero is not the trendiest place, but it's clean and prices are great. Guy at register wouldn't tell us how much the total would be for a single game. So we had no idea how much we'd be spending especially with multiple games. It's not a food place but we waited almost a hour on our nachos and chicken tenders. The tenders were good but the nachos were incorrect and cold. Fun time at Bowlero Denton. The remodel is a big help. The staff was also very attentive and pleasant. We reserved 3 lanes with the "Rock n Bowl" package, which also came with 2 all you can eat entrees. We got Pizza and wings - both pretty good for bowling alley food I'd say. Overall a great experience and I'd recommend. Do be aware that there is a 20% "event fee" on top of whatever the quoted price is. read more
