Strike! Bowling is always a fun group activity. We came to Bowlero during Thanksgiving break with the kids. The place is a normal bowling alley with lost of nostalgia. I used to bowl every weekend as a child and this place reminded me so much of my home location. They had ramps and bumpers up to help our first time bowlers. The prices were decent and the staff was helpful. We had problems with our lane toward the end of the session and the manager took some of the fee off of ths final bill. Had an amazing time at Bowlero! They have some great Groupon deals which makes the pricing feel extremely fair. Went early in the day on a weekend and it wasn't too busy which made for a nice experience. The lanes are well taken care of, the technology all worked and they had very fun themes for games which made the playing experience great. The staff was super kind as well from the check in desk to the servers coming to check on us, provide us waters and take orders for food. They have a variety of options for food and beverages including mixed drinks. They have a small selection of Arcade games but nothing to the extent of a full arcade. Overall, this is a decent bowling alley for both the avid and novice bowlers. Its not too busy on early weekends so it is a nice spot to hang out with a group. read more

Had a great time here on a slow Saturday afternoon. Check in was quick. The layout is nice as the bowling lanes are found on both sides. At the center are food counter and large high-definition screens for arcade games/machines. The computer for the bowling lane/s you would use were intuitive and easy to follow and operate. The lanes worked well and we did not experience any technical problems. There were a few food options including chicken tenders, burger, pretzels, funnel fries. This bowling alley is trash.... We are in a league and bowl on Monday nights. We show up and they oiled half of the lanes and their trash lane oil machine breaks yet again. Every week this machine breaks. Bowlero clearly doesn't care about its customers or the leagues that bowl here. An employee stated the machine is 27 years old and they will not replace it. DO NOT JOIN A LEAGUE HERE! Non stop issues here with this place.... Do better Bowlero, do freaking better! read more

Without Charise at the front desk, her patience and overall kindness, my mother's 50th birthday bowling celebration wouldn't have kicked off as smoothly as it did. Charise, along with Jordan and Jasmine, was incredibly accommodating as I coordinated over 15 people using Groupon, retrieving shoes, and requesting to be placed on the consecutive lanes. They handled everything calmly and efficiently. Later in the evening, when our lane experienced technical difficulties, they extended our two-hour unlimited bowling time to make sure we could still enjoy our full game without interruption. That level of courtesy made a huge difference. The food service was just okay. The separate team of servers didn't clear the tables quickly enough to keep up with a group our size, but it was a busy Friday night. Despite that, this bowling alley has been my family's go-to for over 20 years, and it felt good to celebrate such a special occasion in a place with that kind of history for us. We were also able to bring in cupcakes and balloons without any issues, even without a formal party reservation, which was a pleasant surprise considering we booked through Groupon. I can't emphasize enough how much Charise's calm demeanor and excellent customer service made what could have been a stressful evening feel easy and joyful. I came to allow my grandkids to bowl with my church family and we were told that if weren't bowling we couldn't sit .My kids only one game because I paid for three games they would not refund my money. When asked about refund policy the manager stated he didn't have one and refused to refund me So I guess he is stealing the money. read more

I have been to 3 different bowlero locations near the RVA area and this by far seemed to be the most disappointing. The lane we were using wasn't cleaned or sanitized. There was trash and food on the chairs, tables, and floors. It made the experience pretty uncomfortable. Our lane also had some technical issues with the machine where the balls come out of. It seemed to have a bunch stuck so they kindly moved us to a different lane. This was better because it was more clean. Overall, not the best experience with this specific location. I would recommend one of the others (mechanicsville or henrico). read more

My family of 20 had a birthday party yesterday afternoon for my sister and it was absolutely fantastic! The manager, Dustin, and our server, Sarah, really outdid themselves for us! They were so accommodating and kind! They are the best! They had my sister's name set up in lights with Happy Birthday and her name. we were amazed! They kept the food and drinks flowing the entire party and it was so delicious! We bought the birthday package and it was very reasonably priced. It includes the bowling, shoe rental, food and drinks, and a $10 card for the games and machines for each person! Then, of course, the bling of the birthday lights! What a great deal! Bowlero is a classic bowling alley chain. I hadn't been bowling in years (a decade, maybe?) so it was a nice break in my usual leisure routine. They have a full bar and the drinks are pretty good. I didn't try their food but it was all usual bar stuff. It's a big place with lots of lanes. Pricing seemed reasonable. It's right down the street from me, so I'm sure someday I'll return. read more

We went there for a large party of 25. We started off with 15, then 20, then 25. Even with the frequent changes, the events staff was very helpful and accommodating. On the day of the event, Dustin and his team were great in getting us started, and helping to push back our reservation because of the late comers. The food was well stocked, the games were fun, and the bowling is great. The staff was very helpful in helping us set up the console, and retrieving balls that lost their momentum down the lane. We ended up packing up the yummy cookie cake to eat at home, since there was plenty of food for our party. The entire event was easy, and we highly recommend Bowlero Richmond for a hassle free large group gathering. read more

Had a greatttt time here with my boyfriend. The facility was clean and appeared to be well managed and ran. My boyfriend isn't a huge bowling fan (mostly because I always beat him) but this night it was a blast. We did the unlimited option and played 4 games. He actually won 2 out of the 4 and I think this definitely made the experience more enjoyable for him lol. We also ordered food (forgot to take pictures) and it was delicioussss! We got the avalanche nachos, wings, and garlic Parmesan fries. I will say that the price for the food versus portions was not appropriate. I definitely expected more. I had my birthday party on May 4th at Bowlero on Broad Street in Richmond. Dustin, the manager and Sarah, the server were outstanding. We had 20 people so we got the party package which included shoe rental, lanes, unlimited beverages, pizza, fries and chicken tenders. The bonus was gift cards for the arcade games which the 10 grandchildren loved! The decorations added so much bling and made me feel very VIP! Decent alley, we rented from 9-11 pm on a Friday. At 11 pm we were all on the last frame. Place wouldn't let us finish. One of our people had his ball stuck in the lane and had to request to send it back. No one was waiting for our lane.
