I'm not a huge beer person but I got a cider, forgot the name but it tasted like apple pie, and it was delicious. I also got chips and cheese and although they were your cheap gas station chips with some microwaved cheese they were only $4 and I was happy with them. They were a nice snack while we sat and chatted. The staff was very kind. My only complaint is that the cheese dip cups are smaller than the chips lol, you have to breaks the chips in half to dip them! And they're tiny chips!

The lines for the bars were slow and long. We also had to chase the elusive servers to get an appetizer and boy was I hungry. I would definitely recommend it for an event. I enjoyed the event. It was a good time for a good cause.

I've used prop shop numerous times for other weddings and events and had decent success. However…read morethis past weekend for my wedding, there were many issues. 1. We ordered many ivory table clothes, when we got to the venue and started opening table clothes they were all slightly different colors, we had pink, grey, ivory and white... not matching. It was bad enough we stopped setting up midday to go demand an exchange. When we demanded it, they did swap our for actual ivory matching table clothes. Imagine that. 2. We ordered 200 maroon cloth napkins, we ended up with 2 different colors napkins very noticeable. We had to arrange one set of tables with bright color and the other half with dark. It was not ideal. The napkins were also very worn, they showed signs of tears, burn marks, and just wear and tear. All in all I was sorely disappointed in the quality of the items rented and the customer service. They really need to get new rental materials and up their game. I will not be a repeat customer anymore.... nor will I refer all of my future wedding clients to their shop.

Beds are clean and comfortable, and the room overall looks clean and neat. Now here is what the hotel got wrong when I checked in. In my room, the desk lamp, landline phone, microwave, and fridge weren't working. Some electrical outlets didn't work. The shower curtain was removed. The hotel is in an economically depressed part of town. The whole place has a dim, gloomy feel to it. The front desk door was also locked when I came to check in, even though the website promises a 24/7 front desk. Overall, this is a decent hotel if you're trying to save money. The cleanliness and comfort are acceptable, but the maintenance and atmosphere could be better.

When I asked for a refund they refused, said they'd done as I asked, even when I showed them pictures of everything they left still filthy. I thought "Roach Motels" were to kill bugs, not to sleep in. STAY AWAY!

I recently saw their musical production of A Christmas Carol and loved it! It was an inexpensive ticket to their theatre on Hamilton for some great entertainment. It's obvious to me that they work very hard to provide a quality production and these kids have talent! My only other production was a Jason Mraz fund-raising show last year that also included some of the students' accompaniment. Support Sparc!
