This place was cool. The bar tenders and the wait team was AMAZING and were right where they needed to be when you needed them. They were nice and friendly as well. The food was kind of like bar food but had a little bit of an upscale feel to it and everything was very tasty. I highly recommend this spot for a night out or a company function as they were on point for both the night we were there.

First time coming here at Pinstripes, at first it looks just like a traditional restaurant, then…read moreyou notice the bowling lanes and bocce area tucked in there unexpectedly, what a fun surprise. I ordered the prime rib dip sandwich. Herb-crusted prime rib, sliced to order, provolone, horseradish cream, au jus, on an artisan baguette. Everything came separate, which threw me off for a second, but honestly I liked it. It looked like an Italian beef, just not dry at all. The meat was tender and juicy, tons of flavor on its own. Once you dip it in the au jus though... totally different experience. Rich, savory, messy in the best way. I probably dipped it a little too much, but no regrets. I also got the Berry Bliss Lemonade mocktail. Lemonade with blueberry, fresh lemon, berries, mint, and a splash of sparkling water. Super fresh, not overly sweet, and it paired really nicely with the sandwich. Portion size was solid. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall just a really easy, enjoyable meal.

The plentiful and delicious brunch buffet goes for a very reasonable $35 per adult, $15 for kids 6-12, and free for kids 5 and under. Throw in a photo session with Santa and Mrs Claus and it's a fun holiday deal that can't be beat. This particular Santa was the most fun and gregarious Santa I have ever encountered also. After the photos, he spent some quality chat time with the kids he encountered. The food and food layout and seating layout here were great and it's a much better setup here than at the overly spread out Oakbrook location. I particularly enjoyed their prime rib, smoked salmon, and waffles with home-made whipped cream. Our server was prompt and attentive despite how busy it was. FYI - Pinstripes had some financial difficulty and was recently bought out by an outfit called Punch Bowl Social. They have closed some locations nationwide, but thankfully both Oakbrook and Northbrook look safe for now per the media. Yaay, and best of luck going forward!

I was skeptical but honestly, because of Pinstripes, this may have been the best work party I've been to. I didn't see a lot of the place because I didn't visit the bar upstairs, and we were downstairs for our meeting-party. The meeting room is quite large and accommodated our group of 50 or so people easily. The food was really good too; we had some chicken, Mac and cheese, ribs, and more. The sliders weren't my favorite because they were really pink inside, so I skipped that. The other stuff I had was quite delicious. But the best part was the games. I mean I'm a board game enthusiast but have never played bocce and now I am wondering why not. It was so much fun. I mean I'm ready to buy a lawn set, or join a bocce league or whatever. The rules are simple but it's fun. They also have a really gorgeous patio area that another group was apparently going to be using, and that space is along the riverfront. I would be super glad if we came back to Pinstripes, to the extent that I'm going to make sure our VP knows how much we enjoyed it. There's no dedicated parking so you'll need to take a taxi or find a spot in a nearby lot. Spothero was great for that, since my spot was cheaper than the validated parking that Pinstripes offers.

The lanes are well maintained, games run smoothly, and the atmosphere stays relaxed even when it gets busy. The staff is welcoming, organized, and keeps everything moving without making the place feel overly strict. I also liked the old-school style of scoring because it adds character and makes the games feel more social. The lounge area has a fun neighborhood vibe, the drinks are solid, and there's plenty to do beyond bowling. Overall, it's the kind of spot that's easy to come back to with friends for a genuinely good time.

My girlfriend needed to…read moreuse a 6-pound bowling ball because she wasn't comfortable using the heavier ones, but we were told she couldn't use it because you had to be under a certain age. We politely explained that she wasn't strong enough to comfortably use the heavier balls, but instead of trying to help us find an alternative or even explaining the policy in a respectful way, the interaction came across as very rude and dismissive. Because she was forced to use a heavier ball than she was comfortable with, she ended up hurting herself while bowling, which made the situation even more frustrating. We spent good money here and were polite throughout our visit, so I expected much better customer service. I understand that businesses have policies, but there's a way to communicate those policies and work with customers, especially when someone is explaining that they physically can't comfortably use the available equipment. What was supposed to be a fun date night ended with my girlfriend getting hurt and both of us leaving disappointed. The way the situation was handled really put a damper on the entire experience. Overall, the customer service left us with a very bad impression, and unfortunately, I don't see us returning.

Kings is a pretty large facility with games (notably bowling) along with food and beverage service. We sat at the bar, and a World Cup soccer match was broadcast on several large screens. Our kind server Derrion pointed out some of their specials, so we went with that sales pitch and ordered a couple of beers and apps. The pork dumplings were not one of the specials, but I liked them a bit better than the discounted items that we ordered. The nacho platter featured shredded pork, and we asked for the jalapenos on the side. We split the smashburger, which was served with waffle fries. The beers were cold and refreshing, as were the cups of water.

Initially we were in the main area by the bar and decided to move closer to the back by the arcade which ended up being much more cramped. I also had to bring balls from the front to the back so is recommend the front if there's an option. There were fun games in the arcade and 2 bars for service as well as booth seating throughout. Food was brought out and just okay. My faves were the buffalo wontons, avocado crostini and Korean bbq meatballs. Hot honey chicken sliders were okay. I'd pass on the meatball sandwich and sliders. The food was not hot so that impacted my experience. Not sure if these were special menu items though. Had a fun time bowling and wish we had one at home!
