Chopped salad. I subbed mozzarella for the gorganzolla. Tasty dressing.

Dinner for 6 of us on a Saturday at 5:30pm . We all enjoyed our entrees. I would consider it a small menu, compared with nearby similar reataurants. Our server was excellent. The food runner was not. I asked for a glass of ice but he never brought it. So I had to drink luke warm water with my meal . We sat in the enclosed cement patio. There is no noise buffering in that area. There was a table with adults and several young children who made alot of noise. I recommend this Pinstripes.

Great happy hour option!! They have a lot on their happy hour menu and everything is fairly priced! My favorite had to be the wings with the pigs in the blanket as a close second! The service was a bit slow, I understand that there are other tables, but it's hard to make that excuse when every one else was getting served and we kept having to call our server over. Other than that the patio area is nice and clean!

    Inside. Outdoor patio. Lovely.

I've been to the Northbrook location but this is my first visit to the Oak Brook location. My review is for the weekend brunch buffet only. Ambiance: Loved the outdoor seating. Very pretty and spacious. Food: Waffles-so delicious. Crispy outside & light and airy inside. Get the lemon whipped cream topping, there are a few different choices. I guarantee that you will at least eat two. I appreciate that their waffles come in a mini size. Prime rib-excellent. Lox/Smoked salmon-very good, very low on sodium so you can have more capers. I made a sandwich with a croissant & cream cheese. Peel & eat shrimp-fresh & very good. Bacon-good. Brussel sprouts-crispy & very good seasoning. I heard they are famous for it. Cheesecake bites-only the lemon cheesecake is good. No one else at our table finished the other ones. Yogurt parfait-Mediocre. Skip. Coffee-good & is included in the buffet. Good service. Parking: This is located in the mall vicinity so there is a lot of parking across the street, a one min walk away but difficult in the immediate lot.

Very cute bowling alley. It's not very big, but it makes up for it in character. You are able to add your picture to your name on the screen when playing your turn. That was a nice touch and modern. I came with a large party. Now what I didn't expect was for the fun to be so good. The brussel sprouts were my favorite. The chicken wings hit the spot. The chicken sandwich is also very good. The calamari wasn't crispy enough for me. Parmesan fries were perfectly seasoned. There was an issue with one of our lanes. The staff was accommodating and apologetic. Great customer service there. I recommend this spot for its character and customer service.

We initially booked our experience in pinstripes Barrington. After a week we got an email that that location is closing so you can go to the other locations and your prices will be acknowledged. We went to Oakbrook location and they had different pricing and initially they refuse to acknowledge the pricing. When we show them the email, the manager was very nice and he accommodated the pricing for the Barrington location. We we got two lanes because of the number of guests we had. Unfortunately, the lane kept breaking. The computers kept freezing, the pins kept freezing. We had to call Service for so many times even the floor manager had to come and help us so many times. they did discount us because of the inconvenience, but our plan was doing joy with our visiting friends, and they were getting pretty annoyed. I bet they had the better equipment, to run better. I don't think so. Will go back to this location.

We had a gift card and dropped in here to try their popular weekend brunch which currently goes for $35 pp (and $45 pp on holiday weekends). Reservations well ahead of time are recommended as they do get booked up. In fact, we meant to go to the Northbrook Pinstripes, but came here as Northbrook was all booked up by the time I checked. Their buffet is quite extensive and I'll go with a 4 star rating.  You can check my menu photos and extensive food photos.  I particularly enjoyed the prime rib, a freshly made and customized omelette, and smoked salmon.  Some other offerings amongst others included ham, shrimp cocktails, chicken and waffles, standard breakfast items, pizzas, various pastas, and a salad bar.  Included beverages are coffee, tea, and sodas.  Other juices or alcoholic beverages are at added cost.  Their sweets were like store-bought and mediocre though. The space here is pretty large and there is a bit of walking from the dining areas to the buffet stations as they are separated by a bar area and the entrance lobby area.  There is also a bowling room with 8 lanes located in this center area.  The dining areas comprise of a comfortable main dining room which we requested and gratefully received, and a large heated patio area that kind of looked and felt like a big car dealer garage (ie, not very homey).  They had a live saxaphone player floating about the dining areas also. One handicapped Yelp reviewer cited and warned of the long walks and the heavy plates.  And dang, I remembered that review when my modestly loaded plate did indeed feel pretty heavy!  Our server guy was efficient, friendly, and fine.  Overall, a decent outing, and if you like big brunch buffets, this is one to consider.

Fun-day Brunch today with Santa at Pinstripes in Oak Brook. Pinstripes is decorated in a festive way in December and with Santa and the live holiday music, the atmosphere was alive with celebration. To start, our large party was on the "front path" area and kept extremely warm with heat lamps. The outer room is well lit and spacious and our server Cindy was fabulous. She kept our drinks coming and brunch plates cleared, despite it being a very busy Sunday. I ordered a Cranberry mimosa. My favorite choices on the buffet were the carved prime rib of beef, made to order omelet and waffles with lemon ricotta cream with berry compote. I also enjoyed some Pinstripes favorites, like cheese ravioli, Assorted salads and pizza. The only challenge we had was finding parking, but that's to be expected this time of year near Oak Brook mall. The lot immediately in front of Pinstripes is small, and holiday shopping made for limited spots for cars. Expect to walk a bit on a busy Sunday during brunch.

Bocce & Bowling & Dinner = a memorable work outing. Pinstripes in Oak Brook has a wide selection of Cocktails & # Mocktails. Tons of appetizers to graze, including gluten free pizza crusts & savory Brussels sprouts. Killer salad with salmon to feel healthy before playing Bocce or Bowling! Sharers were super attentive, and our glasses were never empty. Lots of space for large groups to sit down for dinner.

I visited Pinstripes for my mother in laws birthday. We came on Sunday during brunch. I have to say that I was actually pleasantly surprised at how tasty the food was. We had a large group of 10 so they sat us in the back near the barn doors. It was spacious. Overall, I enjoyed myself and will be bringing the kids back. Note: The endless mimosas are $25, BUT they are per person and not shareable. They get a star off for that. :-( Note II: There is a cancellation fee for brunch reservations.

How is it for indoor dining? Is it cold?

Indoor dinning is nice! They have heaters and it's covered. It's not cold at all.

Is there bean bags set up to play or can there be?

No, there are no bean bags. I'm not sure if there can be, maybe you would have to promote that idea to a general manager or something.

So make sure you're paying close attention to your GPS when you're heading there. The good news is it's located in a mall area, so there's plenty of parking, which makes it very convenient. The atmosphere is not overly upscale, but it definitely still gives fine dining energy. The low lighting creates a more intimate vibe, making it a great place for a date night, dinner with friends, or even a relaxed evening meal. The food is consistently good, and the drinks are always on point. This time I ordered the baby back ribs with mashed potatoes, and it was my first time trying that dish there. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone good, and the mashed potatoes were a perfect pairing. My friend ordered the pork chop, butterflied and cut open, and she said it was simply amazing. Now let me get to the real reason I keep coming back. The carrot cake. I have had carrot cake from big-name bakeries and small local mom-and-pop spots, and I'm telling you right now, J. Alexander's has the best carrot cake in the world. If anyone wants to debate that, please let me know where I should go try another slice... or better yet, buy me one so we can compare! Because of that carrot cake alone, J. Alexander's will always be in my Top 10. So yes, the food is good, the drinks are great, the atmosphere is nice...

We started with some lobster bisque and a lump crab cake appetizer. The bisque was sublime. The crab cake was mostly crab and paired with a delicious mustard sauce. My only complaint was that I wanted more. Having recently experienced a subpar upscale chain restaurant steak dinner at another restaurant, I was gun shy to order a steak, but was rewarded with one of the most tender and tasty cuts of beef in the Chicago suburbs. The literal topper was the red wine reduction...so good! My companion ordered (and shared!) the grilled scallops. A generous serving of tender, succulent scallops on a bed of delicious risotto. The combo made a great surf and turf experience. Desserts at these types of restaurants can be so overwhelming that even the thought of sharing seems like too much. But here, we had perfectly sized portions and a wonderful selection of treats to cap a great meal. We each ordered a different treat and it was the perfect amount. We are looking forward to bringing friends and family to return visits. Soon.

We sat in the bar and had a great server named Shawn. Shawn was engaging and provided great service. I'll definitely request him next time I visit. I wasn't drinking that night, but hubby solo'd it with a bourbon cocktail called a Paper Plane. He said it was very tasty, especially on the hot day. We shared the ahi tuna tartare to start. The tartare was a stack of tuna with tropical salsa and avocado. So fresh. It came with a basket of crispy lavish bread, I hope when the restaurant switches their recipe that they will continue making a seedless lavish for those who can't do nuts or seeds. Hubby had the wood grilled tenderloin salad for dinner. I had to get a taste of that tenderloin because it was cooked perfectly. It was so tasty and seasoned well. I had the wood grilled Idaho rainbow trout, swapping out the asparagus for carrots. The trout came with a dill mustard sauce which I nixed and just squeezed fresh lemon on the fish. The fish was moist and smoky. Of course, we had to get the little dessert shooters to end the meal. Hubby had the Belgian chocolate s'mores, which was ridiculously decadent. I had the more conservative raspberry cannoli dessert. These tiny sweet treats are delicious mini indulgences. I love them because you want something a little sweet at the end of a meal but don't want a huge dessert. I think they're perfect. I like Seasons 52 because every item on the menu has the calories listed. Their food is always very good and the service is top-notch. When I ordered the tuna appetizer, a manager came over right away and asked me about a seed allergy because they noticed I said no nuts and seeds on my reservation. They really pay attention to their customers needs. I highly recommend Seasons 52. Ask for Shawn!

As we ordered drinks, he asked only my daughter (33 years old) and my niece (39 years old) for identification. My niece explained that she had her ID available digitally on her phone. Casper said he needed a physical ID but would check with a manager to see if the digital version could be accepted. After speaking with management, he returned and informed us that a digital ID would not be accepted. He explained that the restaurant's policy required physical IDs from anyone who appeared to be 30 years old or younger. When we expressed our frustration and said we would not be dining there because of this policy, he showed no concern and offered no apology. We were curious about a random age requirement if the server thought you "looked" 30 or younger although the legal drinking age in Illinois is 21. Before leaving, we asked to speak with a manager. Ryan, the manager, met us at the door, and we explained that we were disappointed that our niece could not order a drink despite having a valid digital ID. Rather than addressing our concern, he compared the situation to him being carded at liquor stores. We pointed out that this was a restaurant, not a liquor store, and that the policy appeared to be applied selectively based exclusively on the server's judgment. Ryan offered no apology and referred us to the General Manager. When Christa, the General Manager, joined us, we asked why the restaurant used a 30-year-old threshold when the legal drinking age in Illinois is 21. She initially stated that the policy was to request IDs from all guests ordering alcohol. I explained that only my daughter and niece had been asked for IDs. She then revised her explanation, saying that servers request IDs from anyone who appears younger than 30, making the policy exclusively dependent on the server's judgment. We also pointed out that we observed a nearby table of younger-looking guests had been served alcoholic beverages, but their server did not ask for their IDs. Christa questioned our observation. What was most disappointing was that neither Ryan nor Christa apologized for the inconvenience or acknowledged our concerns. As first-time guests, we left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Unfortunately, this experience has ensured that we will not be dining at Perry's in Oakbrook again and has left a bad impression of Perry's management team, in general. If I could rate them a "no stars," I would.

It arrived at the perfect temperature, which is pretty impressive for delivery. The bisque was rich and luscious without feeling overly heavy, and the basil oil added a nice brightness that balanced the creaminess beautifully. It also had a generous amount of lobster, including several large chunks, and was a very solid portion overall. The filet mignon sliders were another highlight. Each slider had a substantial piece of filet mignon topped with pickled onions, microgreens, and horseradish cream on brioche buns. The onions and horseradish added enough acidity and bite to balance the richness of the beef without overpowering it. I also tried the Vietnamese summer rolls, filled with roasted shiitake mushrooms, fresh vegetables, and rice noodles, served with both peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce. Everything tasted very fresh, and the sauces complemented the generously stuffed rolls nicely. My only small critique is that cutting them in half made for a prettier presentation, but made them a little awkward to dip and eat. Overall, this was a surprisingly strong delivery experience, and I would absolutely order from them again, or better yet, make it over to the restaurant itself next time I'm in the area.
