I have tried this food truck a couple times now, it's my go-to spot. I agree w/the poster who said the soba noodles were an issue, mushy.. starchy.. The upside, sub in the zucchini noodles and side step the issue entirely. For anyone who is not down w/the veggie noodles give them a try. Otherwise try rice. I love the "zoodles" BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY I can't say enough about how much I really enjoy this food truck. Korean BBQ, steak bowl.. brisket. They're all really good. My favorite is the poke bowl, followed closely by the bruschetta bowl. The staff is the BEST of all the food trucks outside of the Capitol. They make an effort to make you happy, so switch proteins, substitute protein- they have tofu, they'll make it Keto if that's your preference.. I love açaí bowls, and I was and am super excited to see a truck selling them on Washington Ave, in front of the capital. The açaí base is a touch sweeter than I prefer, but if you keep the toppings to fruit, nuts. and granola, it balances out a little. The açaí is also organic and fair trade certified: score! The large bowl is $6 (small is $3.99, and is very small) and comes with 4 toppings (choice of banana, strawberry, granola, almond, peanuts, chocolate chips, dried coconut) and a choice of "drizzle" (honey, peanut butter, chocolate sauce, Nutella, etc.). More fruit topping options, such as raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, or kiwi, as the fruit choices are limited to...strawberry and banana. The only issue is the wait. Not the wait on line to put in your order, but the wait for your order to be completed. I've been four times now, and my wait for a single açaí bowl has ranged from 20 minutes to as long as 30. That's an entire lunch break for many. I've tried going slightly before noon and then at about 12:45 PM ...it made little difference. Nearly a half hour waiting for a smoothie bowl each time. They're a popular and busy food truck, so a wait is to be expected, but when I've gone with others who have gotten noodle or Buddha bowls, theirs are always done long before the açaí bowls. The wait is perplexing because the açaí is sorbet, and the employee scoops it per bowl from a tub (not something they need to blend, as I've seen elsewhere), slices the fruit, and assembles it. It's a tight space they're working in, but there has got to be a way to get those bowls done quicker -- maybe some more advanced prep work? Pre portioning certain ingredients? Unfortunately, I can't frequently take up my entire lunch period to wait for my lunch to be made, so I can't frequent BOWLicious as often as I would if the bowls could be done in a more reasonable amount of time. Hopefully this changes for the better, otherwise I'll just keep hoping another local place will start to sell awesome smoothie bowls. read more

A new food truck?! Yes! Each dish is thoughtfully assembled. Prices are as expected, flavors were really good, veggies were super fresh, and the shrimp was tasty. They even take credit cards. But the noodles. The noodles left much to be desired. They were clumped and gooey, and put a real damper on an otherwise great bowl. I'll give Bowlicious another shot, though. The line of customers was remarkably long, so maybe I came on a bad day. I really hope I came on a bad day. read more

This is the first review of this food truck and I'm not surprised why. So first, customer service issue. My friend got my lunch for me at this food truck. People go to food trucks for expediency. It took him almost 25 min to get an order for a salad. He told me that when they took the order they skipped him about four times and people were getting their things before him. Second, the meal itself was terrible. It was a simple mixed vegetable salad with a fried egg. One thing on it ever to be cooked and it was burnt solid. And they still served it. Stopped by here to get my acai bowl fix on and walked away a bit disappointed. Everyone working is friendly and knowledgable about their offerings, but my bowl majorly missed the mark. The acai base was almost frozen solid and the toppings were well out of proportion. If you're in the area craving an acai bowl, a walk up to Raw is probably a better bet. read more

I ordered the pad Thai bowl from this food truck and I was so disappointed. The taste was so much different than from when I had this food when they just opened up, up till 2019 (before pandemic). They just put a lot of soy sauce in with noodles and the garnish/vegetables was few and far between. In the old version, they put peanut sauce mixed with other sauce in with the noodles and the garnish/vegetables were so generous in number. It used to be so good. I have noticed that the servers are now different - 3 ladies, so I am not sure whether the owner is different now as well or if they are the same. I don't recommend the Pad Thai bowl. read more

Found this little gem in downtown Albany. We had the poke bowl and Seoul bowl. Excellent flavor, substantial portions, great prices.

Great lunch cuisine at this food truck... the Buddha Bowl had everything a vegan wants (sans the yogurt sauce) and was yummy and filling. Avacado, chickpeas, red pepper, red onion, fried tofu, over rices. Nice curry spicing also. read more
