My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner here for our ten year anniversary. Not fancy, but apparently we have a thing for tacos on our anniversaries. We were really excited to finally try some of their savory foods, which they only have on weekends. It's definitely worth it, and we will certainly be back to try some others. There was a slight mix-up with our dessert, but the staff was wonderful and handled it quickly. They're all very friendly and pleasant. We also took home a box of assorted pastries, which we enjoyed at home. All of which were delicious! The space is really cute, and has a surprising amount of seating considering how small it is. If you're in the area or just looking for somewhere to get a bite, definitely check them out!

I recently ordered a custom birthday cake for a frien and it was perfect! Looked just like the reference photo. We chose to do chocolate with chocolate whipped cream and it was so good. I don't have a sweet tooth whatsoever but I really enjoyed it!

A small pastry shop in downtown Albany with some character and a must stop for people with a sweet tooth. I first got to know about this through a yelp event. I would definitely stop by to get the chocolate flan and the tres leches. Service was quick. The front end staff and owner were friendly.

We finally had the opportunity to sample the savory menu. These were the best tacos and empanadas that I've had outside of Latin America. The corn tortillas were soft and fresh with excellent flavor. The meat feelings were generous, well seasoned, and with the perfect amount of cilantro and onions. The red sauce had some serious kick to it and the green sauce added excellent flavor. Plenty of limes for the vitamin C. The shop itself is cute with a couple of tables and some counter seating. The dessert case is impressive, with plenty of options. There are two televisions with one playing Mexican music and the other TV displaying all the different options that they're able to provide for desserts and cakes. The young lady working the cash register was extremely pleasant, and to minus a simple misunderstanding of which empanadas contained which filling, there are no mistakes with our order. We can't wait to come back and try the other options.

My expectations weren't too high because I didn't know if Albany had a thriving Mexican community. Viva Cinco de Mayo blew me away! We sat in a comfortable outdoor dining section. Our waitress was extremely helpful! The menu was extensive and felt authentic to me. My daughter ordered chips and queso, clearly house made chips were outstanding! Her chicken and cheese quesadilla was also delicious. My wife and I shared some of the best tamales we've ever had! So fresh and vibrant, chicken with green salsa. My wife enjoyed three tacos and the sangria. I absolutely loved their pozole with mole sauce! The hominy was perfectly cooked. Their fresh Tamarindo juice was also delicious! Truly an awesome lunch!

I like my huge plate of chilaquiles, big portion of steak and chips. They know how to cook rice and beans here. Rice is not too mushy and soft, just the right texture. I wish I had room to try their tres leche or flan for dessert. Next time Service could be more attentive. I think if you know some Spanish that would be ideal, because they got my order wrong. Parking, just street parking. you should able to find some parking on the street nearby

I got the steak taco salad, and what really sold me was that everything was chopped into perfect bite-size pieces :) It made eating it so easy and enjoyable. It's cozy, quaint, and gives the perfect little setup to eat, chill, and enjoy the nice weather. This spot is officially on my return list!!

I can put down quite a bit of food so if I order the "three traditional tacos" then I'm usually left wanting just one more... so I typically go for the burrito to try and fill up a bit more. The chorizo is delicious and seasoned very well. The salsa verde that is served with each taco/burrito is also delicious. During winter they put up some "bubble" tents outside with heaters. They don't have much seating inside and if the restaurant is busy then you might be caught in a pickle... but I've been lucky enough to find a free table here reliably. I've been visited by out-of-state friends a few times and I typically introduce them to this restaurant (as one of my local favorites) and they usually love it.

We couldn't decide from the awesome choices but I finally decided on Carne Al carbon tacos and beef nachos and my husband got the chicken fajita quesadilla. OMG we haven't eaten here since we first started dating in 2021 and it was mid. This time it was absolutely amazing. So amazing that everything looked so good and we forgot to take a picture. But trust me when I say every flavor was on point. We argued about who's driving home so the other can sleep. Thank you for an amazing date night filled with good food, good vibes, great service and amazing food.

Upon arrival you'll receive complimentary chips and salsa. It was fresh as the chips were warm and I could taste the fresh ingredients in the salsa. We ordered the carne asada and the Baja tacos (and the enchiladas verdes to go based on hot good the food was). The carne asada was fantastic, and it came with rice, beans, and tortillas. The Baja tacos were delicious and came with a super spicy sauce (they did have a lot of onions which was my only drawback). We ended the night with a special strawberry tres leches for Valentine's Day. It's not something I would have typically ordered but I do love tres leches and this did not disappoint - it was amazing. All in all excellent food you'll be glad you came for the food! A few other notes- the inside of the restaurant is pretty and draws on what I've seen in other Mexican restaurants. Staff were so friendly and had the perfect balance of checking in with us to letting us eat our meal. There is a small bar area that is separate from the dining area. Street parking only but there seemed to be plenty of spots. However, I would try to park as close as possible to the restaurant as the neighborhood itself didn't seem like the greatest. We had no issues during our experience but just something to consider. Overall I really liked this place and will definitely return!
