Over the phone, I clearly explained what I was seeking, and upon arrival, I also mentioned an additional issue, which the mechanic said he'd check. When I returned to pick up my car, the price was within my budget and I was ready to proceed, until I asked about the second issue. That's when the tone of the conversation completely changed. I believe this shop could benefit from having a designated receptionist. Expecting mechanics to also handle front-desk communication is too much, and not everyone who is skilled at fixing cars is equally good at handling customers. When I asked about the additional issue, the mechanic told me he wouldn't look into it further unless I confirmed I'd be getting the additional services, because he didn't want to "waste his time." I found that surprising since I had already agreed to pay $135 for the initial analysis, which was supposed to be waived if I proceeded with the repairs. The conversation escalated even though I remained calm, and ultimately, he said he'd "rather put on the hose and you take the car." After a two-hour wait, I left disappointed that my concerns were dismissed and the follow-up I expected never happened. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. To add to my previous review, now the car will Not start at all.
