I went in looking for a specific color of Ruffle Butts leggings. I had researched and found they did carry the Ruffle Butts brand. I found the display but it was pretty limited. I guess you have to know someone to know when new stock arrives because there were only selected sizes of most of the items. If it was the size you were looking for, then you hit the jackpot, otherwise, I guess I will just have to plan to visit often to try and catch something new and cute. The woman who helped me was very nice and we did find a piece that had the pattern that I was trying to match the color so, although they did not have the color I wanted, she did suggest an alternative that worked just fine. This store requires you to take your time and look. I don't have kids so I never have the need to come into places like this, but after brunch at Egg Harbor (in the same building) my dining companion asked if we could swing in, as she needed a gift for a new niece. This place is pretty small but C-R-A-M-M-E-D with kiddie clothes, hair bows, and even some cute stuffed animals. It cracked me up to see a brand of tights called Ruffle Butts. If you don't mind spending $50 on a sweater your baby will outgrow in a month, then this is the place for you! The prices and lack of customer service (meaning the young woman working there will not likely acknowledge you) are my only reasons for not giving it 5 stars. This is a fun place to buy a special gift for baby. They have a beautiful selection of unique clothing, hats, hair accessories, christening gowns and some adorable Chicago team items. I stopped in here to browse while bumming around downtown Naperville with my husband, Mom, and brother. We had just found out the week before that our baby is a boy, so the news had me excited to check out baby stuff! My brother's girlfriend had recommended Bows & Babes and I'm definitely glad we stopped in to check it out. Their selection of onesies, socks, bibs, accessories, and more is completely adorable. You can find everything from Chicago Cubs onesies, to "I love daddy" socks, and first birthday hats. They sell plush animals, pacifiers, breast feeding pillows, jewelry and more. Tons of cute stuff here! I kind of thought there were more options for girls than boys, but I guess with all the bows, tutus, and glitter it's hard not to get carried away. One of the coolest things I saw were the teething jewelry! This was my first time seeing anything like this (although I recently learned Target carries these too). Basically it's jewelry for Mom to wear that actually looks pretty fashionable, but also doubles as a convenient teething ring for your baby! Pretty cool. I definitely suggest stopping into Bows & Babes. Whether you're looking for something for your own baby or for a gift, they have plenty to offer. The employee asked if I was looking for anything in particular and when I told her she just said ok and didn't have any suggestions or direct me to any specific area of the store. I love the headbands and bows handmade by one of their artists. They are so cute on a baby and the clip on bows and flowers can be worn for years to come. There is a limited selection of clothing and special occasion outfits for the little ones. I bought a custom onesie with my baby's initial on it for Christmas. This one just happened to be there but you can custom order onesies, tees and headbands. We stumbled upon this store while waiting for a table at Egg Harbor(it's in the same building). I would first like to say the staff was very accommodating and helpful last Sunday when I had to quick stop in for a gift as they were closing. I know this is even my own pet peeve and I shouldn't have tried to shop there as they were closing but I was desperate to find more gifts for my niece as other stores lacked charm in their selections. They couldn't have been helpful and nice as I didn't even feel rushed. They were even helpful suggesting various gift ideas for my nieces' baptism. The feel in the store is very chic and welcoming and their selection is appropriate given the quality and uniqueness of the items. Upon giving the gift, my sister called me later in the night raving about how cute the outfit was and how it had its own spunk to it. She also raved about the baptism frame that had a rustic feel to it. I would highly recommend this store. It has been my fourth time in the store, and even though I have no children of my own, its my go to store in Naperville for children's gifts of my family and friends. read more

I have shopped here multiple times for my daughter and never leave empty-handed. I almost always find what I am looking for (specific colored bows), but with enough advanced notice, their bowmaker is available for custom bows (you bring them the ribbon). Additionally, staff will communicate with you via text - sending photos of in stock items to see if they have what you're looking for - which is awesome since parking can be quite difficult! If I had to dock a star, it would be for parking - how about reserving a spot or two for your customers? read more

They offer formal or causal wear. There is something to find for your baby/child or even for a gift. The customer service is top notch from the women working there to the manager.
