Was in the area for an event and decided to swing by to see if there were fun things for our little one. Upon walking in it was jam packed with things. Majority of the store was girl clothes, but we were able to find some board books and part take in their bodysuit sale. We found a bunch of cute onesies for super cheap. We also looked around at their bassinets, and various nursery items to see if we could find things we didn't have and they were fairly priced. Overall, it was a decent experience. While waiting to check out, I saw the employees buying some of the items this family brought in. It was nice to know that they buy things gentle used and wash them before putting them on the floor for folks to purchase. read more

I give 2 stars simply because my experience was quick and service was bare minimum nice. I brought 3 normal sized totes of clothes ranging preemie-24 months boy and girl. I washed, dryed, organized by type and outfits, folded and did not over stuff my containers. The lack of respect is what got me. All of the clothes that the store did not want to buy were tossed back in, in no order whatsoever. It took me a while to make that easy for them to go through and choose, so for me to receive the items back in complete disarray is super disappointing. It would have taken 5-10 minutes to give it back to me how it was received because of how organized it was. read more

I absolutely love this location over the other once upon a child locations near me. It's very organized and I find it so easy to find what I'm needing. It's also so easy to sell here!! Do not attempt to sell to this awful place! When you call and ask about selling items, they make it seem so simple and lucrative. What a crock! I brought in 12 large bags of children's clothes ranging from newborn to 4t. Everything was almost completely brand new, brand name and in excellent condition. The purchased 15 items total from several hundred I brought in. Then, they told me to take the stuff they didn't buy back with me. And they were so non-helpful as they watched me load the dozen bags into my vehicle without lifting a finger. I have purchased so much from this place in the past but those days are done! If your wanting to sell items to this store, don't waste your time!!! Firstly their customer service representatives are super awkward people. Secondly I took in a tonne of toys to sell and I actually didn't expect them to want as much as they did. I was pleasantly surprised until she told me how much they were willing to give me for all of it. Most items they were going to give me 90cents for and were going to sell it for $5-5.60. I was under the impression they buy things off you for 25-50% of what they will sell it for. Definitely not true at this place. Your way better off and will get way more for your items selling them on offer up or marketplace. Oh and I was the second in line first thing when they opened and it took them 2.5 hours to go through my stuff, they said I was next in line and there was also no one in the store shopping at the time. DON'T EVER sell anything here. We sold $300 worth of items and received less than $30 for it. My husband went when they told us the price and if it were me, I would have said HELL NO!!! Out of all the once upon a child I have visited this one is hands down the best all the employees are very kind and friendly. The prices are very affordable and the merchandise is always in respectful condition. Store is always beat and organized. Everything is always easy to find. Brand new store and as of right now still has that brand new feel/smell. Very clean, staff overall has been outstanding, selection is very good, and as of right now what more could one want. I'm sure like anywhere else and keep in mind this a second hand store, they're not going to jump when you say jump or serve coffee. However for basic questions, etc it's a good experience as of right now. Definitely will be going back. FYI. It is a newer store so like they may have the selection that my family needs, while talking to the staff, they're still trying to build their inventory up. And they're in business to make a profit, so if you're looking to sell your stuff for top dollar, chances are you wont get it here, but if you're planning to donate and things are in good condition, there is a good opportunity to walk away with a couple of dollars in your pocket. read more

This store used to be great under previous ownership. That's definitely not the case anymore. The last couple times we've tried to sell back items, it was a complete ripoff. Majority of what we brought in was new, name brand items with tags. I've found a couple other locations that make significantly better offers and will be going there from now on instead. read more

My only complaint is that it took nearly two hours to go through my clothing. I was told I have one person in front of me and it wouldn't be within the hour. As I waited I realized they were putting other people items in front of mine, which is why it was taking so much longer. I understand it takes time, but if there was one person in front of me it shouldn't have taken this long. I will most likely not be coming back to this store. read more

My husband took a truck FULL of boxes of various sized baby boy clothes. The staff was helpful and didn't seem phased by the enormous amount we brought in. They didn't take everything - as they are a small store and lots of people bring in clothes(unfortunately, because we still have a TON of clothes we need to donate elsewhere) BUT we got a great price for what they did take. They were kind about it and said we have great clothes in good, clean condition- they just didn't need it all. The staff was extremely busy with people coming in and dropping things off and making their purchases. They were unable to finish going through our things but sent us a text when it was ready for pick up. Overall, We were very pleased and will use them again. read more

I have been to a few Once Upon A Child stores but I have always had better experiences at this location. The clothes are consistently well organized and displayed, the store is clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. If I am looking for a specific item, I do not have to dig through endless racks. They are organized by style AND color which is immensely helpful for me especially with twins. I have scored quite a few matching pieces thanks to their organization. They also have a special section in front for whatever upcoming holiday. read more

I attempted to sell them 2 bins of quality clothes; a little bit of all seasons but definitely some great quality winter clothes for both boys and baby girls-things that I myself would buy if I were shopping. They barely accepted anything and told me my clothes were "worn" "too old" and not the right season-But they took the short sleeved Hanna Anderson shirt and spaghetti strap Carter's dress! Isn't that out of season? Secondly, when I called to ask what items they were accepting BEFORE I brought my items in I was told "they accept all seasons, all year long"-so now I'm confused. I brought in a pair of very gently used boys' snow boots and 3 infant snowsuits-they bought none of it. Also, 3 practically new newborn Carter's jammies-adorable as can be that I had just bought a couple months ago that my daughter wore once-didn't take them. For the time it took me to pack up my items, carry them to my car and drive to the store (the bins were not light AND I had my 2 children with me) I DONT feel like it was worth my time or effort. Won't be selling here again. I wish they were more clear about what they will and will not accept. And believe me, I'm not one those people who tries to bring in crap quality clothes and expect money for it. read more

Felt like I really got ripped off by bringing my items in! Out of my pile of stuff they ended up taking a jean jacket from Justice, a Zero Exposure coat with inner and outer shell, a game that was never opened, a beanbag chair, 3 (1large, 2small) canvas pictures, a large memory board plus a few other smaller items. For all of those items they gave me me $27!! I felt rushed through the payment process and didn't really get to see what they chose until I got home and looked through my baskets. I also discovered some of my items that they chose not to take missing pieces once I liked them over back home. The people that worked at the location were nice but in the end I definitely felt scammed. I realize they need to make money but giving someone basically $2 per item is ridiculous. This is a nice, neat and clean Once Upon A Child. The staff is friendly and professional. I do shop many of these stores so comparatively the staff here is courteous and professional. The selection is smaller than some but it is fairly priced compared to others--there are a few that mark up Brand Names very high (most of the time you can by new on sale cheaper at the actual store) but not here the prices seem very consistent brand to brand. I do understand the buying concept they bought most of my items and I was compensated better than garage sale prices which I was happy with because I am never having a garage sale-lol and it is out of my house. read more

District Manager Heather is impeccable. I came in with a list of things I needed (I'm a single mother having my first child) and she went through the entire store to find me everything I needed on the list at the most reasonable price. She was so polite and had a great attitude. You could tell she was dedicated to providing amazing customer service and was really compassionate. I felt like I was in great hands coming in and working with her, it alleviated a lot of stress and I felt great leaving with so many great deals. Another manager (Tina) was also around when I was there and she checked in to make sure everything was going alright and jumped in to find some of the things I needed to make sure everything was obtained in a timely manner.
